Description
Futter, wi#Iche pro 100 kg Trockensubstanz 1@5--@90 kg verdauliches Ei weiss enthalten.
Method for the rapid fattening of pigs. A pig Schnellmmtverfahren is known, according to which the pigs receive a different feed mixture with each other fattening month, z. B. in the first fattening month one with a salary of. 17 kg digestible protein in 100 kg dry matter, in the last month of fattening one with a content of 10 kg digestible protein in 100 kg dry matter. This makes it possible to fatten pigs in five fattening months (one fattening month = 28 days) from 20 to 110 kg, while generally seven months are required.
However, this procedure has not been successful in practice. Since pigs of various ages are usually present in a fattening farm, five different feed mixes must be available at all times.
The present invention relates to a method for fattening pigs which is suitable as a rapid fattening method and which does not have this disadvantage, but, as tests have shown, gives the same advantage.
This method for the rapid fattening of pigs is characterized in that pigs with a live weight of at least approx. 20 kg during the entire fattening period on each feeding day per animal are given an insufficient amount of feed for physiological saturation as a basic ration, which is 8'0 -210.0- g digestible protein, of which at least approx.
1% animal protein, as well as a feed for satiety with a lower content of digestible protein than that of the feed used as a basic ration, and the two feeds are kept apart during administration. For the basic ration z. B.
Feed containing 1 @ 5 - @ 90 kg digestible egg white per 100 kg dry matter.
Embodiment: For each pig and day during the entire fattening period, feed is administered as a basic ration which contains 530 g of dry matter with a content of 116.6 g of digestible protein, 45 g of which is animal protein. After this ration has been eaten, each pig receives a feed which contains 8 kg of digestible protein in 100 kg of dry matter until it is full.
When fed in this way, pigs were brought from an average of 21.3 kg live weight to 114.6 kg live weight in 1.40 days.
The basic ration can be divided among the different feedings of the day or given all at once. It is advisable to only serve the full feed after the basic ration has been completely consumed.
