Lorsque le mouvement d'effacement de la butée 81 n'a. pas eu lieu, celle-ci, restée en po sition 81', revoit le choc du butoir 80, choc dont l'effet sur l'arbre 13 est atténué, d'une part, par l'élasticité du butoir 80 et, d'autre part, par un ressort 83 contrôlant le mouve- ment de recul de la lutée S1. Celle-ci est, en effet, montée sur un support coulissant 8-1 dont l'extrémité, repliée en forme d'équerre 84a., commande lui levier de détente 85 action nant le débrayage;
Loom ensuring the manufacture of the fabric in a vertical plane. The object of the invention is a loom. weaving ensuring the manufacture of the fabric in a vertical plane and in which the weft is introduced by passing the shuttle over a horizontal comb between the two di-aimed plies of the warp placed vertically, the launch of the shuttle taking place from fixed plates.
Such a craft could be of the type of those more specially adapted to. the arrangement in groups side by side and back to back on a common frame, as has been described. in Swiss patent 1 283715.
The loom which is the subject of the invention is. characterized in that the motor shaft, the half-speed shaft and certain other control members of its main movements are housed inside a sealed casing, in which it takes place pressure lubrication of 'oil, and which constitutes an assembly that is easy to install and fix on the framework of the loom.
1.e appended drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the weaving loom which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is. a quick in profile elevation of the upper part of the loom, showing some of the main controls of the various movements, grouped inside a casing with sealed walls.
Fig. 2, 3 and 4 are views, respectively in front elevation, in profile and in plan from above, of the casing with sealed walls. Fig. 5 is a side view and FIG. 6 a plan view showing the arrangement of several housings of a group of opposing trades.
Fig. 7 is a schematic view showing the special movement of the horizontal comb. Fig. 8 shows a cam making it possible to perform this movement for the comb.
Fig. 9 is a view of a device for launching the shuttle, of which fi-. 10 is a plan view.
Fi-. 11 and 12 are. schematic views; in section, relating to a shuttle changing device.
Fig. 13 is a view of an exhausted shuttle ejection mechanism.
Fi- ,. 141 is a side elevational view of a loom stopping mechanism when the shuttle does not fit in its box at the correct time.
Fig. 7.5 is. a front view of a board for controlling the progress of the loom. As shown in fig. l., 1 and l 'are the divided layers of the vertical chain forming the shed,? are. the blades of the trade, 3 is the penalty,? - represents a templet,.) is. the fabric produced, 6 a take-up roll and 7 wine roller winding said fabric.
A casing containing the main moving parts, and the walls of which are sealed, consists (fig. 2, 3 and 4) by a frame 8 of welded angles, and by crosspieces 9 intended to support the bearings of the shafts of the loom, and resting on the bottom of the frame by means of supports 10 profiles in the form of trapezoids. The frame thus formed is closed by sealed walls <B> 11 </B> on the six faces of the parallelepiped thus formed. The bottom wall has a pressure relief or pocket 11a intended to collect the oil which is taken up by an oil pump 12.
In this housing, the cross members 9 carry. the bearings of a motor shaft 13. and of a half-speed camshaft 14.
Two uprights 1: ,, welded by their base on the housing including. they are an integral part, serve as a support for axes 16 around which the swords 17 of the comb 3 pivot.
Fixed to the upper wall, forming a cover, of the casing, are arranged slides (not shown) in which move sliders 18 for controlling the blades 2. These sliders are. actuated, via a connecting rod 19, by a lever 20, pivotally mounted at 21 and carrying a, let 22 cooperating with a cam 23 wedged on the shaft 1.4 at half speed.
The sword 17 carries a lower projection 17cc arranged so as to constitute a slide in which is engaged an arm 4 carrying a roller 5 cooperating with a cam 6 wedged on the shaft 13.
The 2-1 arm position adjustment is. obtained by moving said arm in the slide 17a, by means of nuts 27 and 2T arranged on either side of a bearing surface 28 formed in the sword 17, the arm? 4 being locked in the adjustment position by means of 'nuts 29 screwed on threaded studs, provided on the bottom of the. slide 17a, and pledged in slides of the arm 24.
The control of the half-speed shaft 1-1 by the motor shaft 13 is carried out by gears 30 and 31 in the ratio 1:?. The control of the oil pump is. ensured by angle gears 32, 33; the pump shaft 34, as well as the pump itself 1.2, are embedded in the crankcase oil.
Thus are grouped, in one and the same assembly placed in a sealed casing inside which a circulation of pressurized oil takes place, the control members of the various movements of the loom.
The construction of the loom is simplified, the dismantling of the mechanical assembly is made faster, maintenance and repair are. facilities. In a space 35 arranged outside the casing (see fig. -1) are arranged mid-clutch, a brake, \ as well as a mechanism for stopping the loom in the event of a faulty arrival of the shuttle in a box, these organs being. thus apart from the oil circulation.
The fi-. 5 and 6 relate to a weaving machine formed by a group of individual weaving looms such as that of FIGS. 1. to 1-, stand-alone, placed side by side and back to back.
The framework of this weaving machine is formed by assembling frames 36 with adjoining frames 37. On each of the frames 36, forming trays. assembled with two consecutive frames 37, are placed and fixed the casings 38 and. 38 'of two opposing individual trades.
As represented in fiâ. 1, the comb 3 is fixed by clamping between two angles 17b arranged at the end of the sword 17. Its movement is established according to a law such (fig. 7) that the shuttle 39 launched tithe plate 40, passes over the comb lying. then in a position 3V located below the n.oyenne position 3 corresponding to the common plane of the upper faces of the starting plate 40 and the.
arrival plate -11. The comb then rises, during the journey of the shuttle 39 through the shed, so as to occupy an upper position 3 "before the arrival of the shuttle at the plate -11, so that the shuttle arrives on said plate 41 , is then located below in relation to the comb.
The comb continues its upward movement until 3 "'(fig. 1 <B>) </B> to effect the tightening of the pick against the face of the fabric.
This movement is determined by the cam 26, wedged on the shaft 13 and against which the roller is applied. 25 disposed at the end of the arm 24.
The cam 26 (Fig. 8), driven by the shaft 13 of a continuous rotational movement in the direction of the arrow, comprises a circular part ah corresponding to the momentary stopping of the comb, in position 3 ' , below the level of plate 40, point. a 'corresponding to the arrival of the shuttle on the pei gne.
The hc portion is that carrying out the slow rise of the comb, up to 3 ". While the shuttle passes through the shed, then the cd portion ensures that the comb stops in position 3", point c 'corresponding to the moment when the shuttle leaves the comb to arrive on plate -11. The portion d-e carries out the sudden rise of the comb, that e-f the progressive tightening of the pick by the rising comb until 3 "'(fig. 1), then f-a carries out the rapid centering of the comb.
The movement of the comb below, then above the plane (the plates during the crossing of the shuttle eliminates the obligation of machining and precise adjustment to make the plane of the comb coincide with the plane of the plates during the crossing of the shuttle.
The shuttle 39, of trapezoidal shape, is guided laterally over its entire path by two control walls 43 and 41 integral with the comb, and furnished with purlin.
The shuttle's flushing mechanism is shown in wire ;. 9 and. 10 as regards the part corresponding to the right plate -11, the other part, relating to the left plate, being constituted in the same way and. symmetrically arranged.
A cleat 45 is integral with a hunting strap 46 forming an endless band around the pulleys 47 and 48. The pulley 48 is wedged on the same axis 49 as a pulley 50 surrounded by a strap 51, or cocking strap , which, after having bypassed a roller, return 53, is fixed by one of its ends to a cocking lever 53, pivotally mounted at 51 (fig. 1) and actuated by a cam <B> 55 </B> acting on a roller 56 carried by said lever.
At the other end of the strap <B> 51 </B> is fixed a tension spring 57 attached, on the other hand, to another portion of strap, 51a, which, after having bypassed a return roller 58, is attached to a lever 59 mounted at. pivoting in. 54 and actuated by cam 61. and roller 6 ?. Between a fixed point of articulation 63 and another point of articulation 6-1 located on the pulley 50 is mounted a toggle 65 consisting of two levers articulated one on the other at 66.
The operation. of this hunting mechanism is. the following: The cocking lever 53 goes up and lifts the cocking strap 51 which turns the. pou binds 50 by half a turn, which has the effect of returning the end of the spring 57 from <B> 67 '</B> to 67. The toggle 65 is thus in the support position, shown in solid lines.
At this moment, the tension lever 59 rises and, through the strap 51a., Tightens the spring 57.
A click lever (not shown) then swings the knee lever 65 beyond its bearing position, which allows the spring 5 7 to relax, its end 6 7 coming at 67 ', while the knee lever occupies the position. position 65 '.
The pulley 50 swivels abruptly half a turn: the pulley 48, wedged on the same aie, drives the hunting strap 16 carrying the cleat 45 which launches the shuttle 39.
In this way, we obtain the silent movement of the shuttle and greater operational safety for its passage through the crowd, without requiring machining or precise adjustments.
As regards the change of na--paddle (fig. 11, 1 \? And. 13), it is carried out during one and a half turns of the motor shaft of the loom, sufficient time; to avoid any brutality of the movement.
On the plate 41 is arranged a magazine 68, the lower part of which constitutes a shuttle box. Above, the store serves as housing for two reserve shuttles, the positions of which are indicated at 391 and 392. The roof 69 of the shuttle box is pivotally mounted. around an axis 70, so as to be able to release the top of the box while occupying a position 69 '. On the other hand, fingers 71, passing through the wall of the store 68, as well as the guide plate 7? of the shuttle 393 coming from the conveyor, can hold the shuttle 392 to prevent it from descending before the opportune moment.
There is shown in fi-. 12, at 390, the na vette whose can is exhausted, and which is being ejected, that shown at 39 in the same figure being. the one that has just been set up in the. box.
For the ejection of the spent shuttle, '_e device comprises a deflection plate 73 mounted to tingle around a vertical axis 74 lfig. l3) and. which is placed, at the appropriate moment, obliquely on the plate 41, in the position shown in solid lines eyelash fig. 13.
On this sheet 73 is spun articulated around a hinge 75 a latch 76 which can engage, by its head 76a and under the effect of its weight, in a notch 77 provided in a fixed part 78.
The operation. is the following A weft feeler, or a weft breaker, <<@ -ant noted the exhaustion of the weft of the shuttle which has just left the. box (fig. 11), <<ordered the shuttle change; the movable roof of the box is brought to position G9 '. The reserve shuttle, which was in 391, begins to descend into the shuttle box.
The second reserve shuttle 39 is retained by the fingers 71. The opening of the roof 69 has caused the deflection plate 73 to pivot which, from the normal operating position shown in dotted lines at 73, has come to be placed at an angle. , in 73 ', by pivoting. around the axis 74. The bolt 76, integral with the deflection plate, and which was at <B> 76 ', </B> came at the same time to lock in the notch 77.
.. The reserve shuttle being lowered into the box at 39, the roof 69 closes (fig. 12); the fingers 71 move back and allow the drop of the shuttle 39 = in the first reserve position 391. At this point, the exhausted shuttle <B> 390 </B> returns. of the opposite box, is. deviated by the. plate 73 and directed on the evacuation conveyor of the empty shuttles. In passing, she lifts the lock 76, which it unlocks, which enables the. deflection plate 73 to return to the normal operating position.
The abrupt stopping of the loom in the event that the shuttle does not enter or enters late, into the box, is effected by a remarkable mechanism in that the usual movable stop cooperates with a stopper integral with the motor shaft, this which avoids shocks tones on intermediate organs.
On the motor shaft 13 is trimmed a sleeve 79 lflg. 14-) comprising a flat 79a on which is fixed the stopper 80 formed of a ssemblabe of leaf springs.
The arrival of the. shuttle in one or the other control box, by means of braking tabs, a trin-lerie 82 so as to erase a stop <B> 81 </B> before it is struck by a stopper beak 80. When changing the shuttle, said linkage is actuated in the same way by the step wise of the. shuttle ejected 390 under the red <B> 76. </B>
When the movement of erasing the stop 81 has. not taken place, this one, remaining in position 81 ', reviews the impact of the stopper 80, the impact of which on the shaft 13 is attenuated, on the one hand, by the elasticity of the stopper 80 and, d on the other hand, by a spring 83 controlling the retraction movement of the lute S1. The latter is, in fact, mounted on a sliding support 8-1, the end of which, bent in the form of a square 84a., Controls the trigger lever 85 acting as the clutch;
inside the support 81 is arranged the spring S3 applying against a fixed stop 86-, 87 are guides in which slide. the ends of the support 84.
Controlling the progress of the loom is greatly facilitated by the fact that visual control means, grouped in a table, make it possible to follow the operation of the unwinding of the chain. and. of the fabric winding, to be informed about the tension of the chain, as well as about the lubrication under pressure. Other devices such as, in particular, pick counters making it possible to monitor production, can be placed on the same centralization panel.
This table 88 (fig. 15) includes soot window 89 in which it appears ratchet 90, to. eliquet .91, movement. of the warp unwinder, as well as a window 92 in which appear similarly, a ratchet 93 with ratchet 94, of the movement of winding of the fabric. In an elongated window 95 moves, in front of a graduation, an index 96 indicating at all times the tension of the chain, <B> the </B> position of said index being a function of the tension of the spring of the chain unwinder.
On the same table 88 is arranged a manometer 97 indicating the oil pressure in the lubrication circuit, as well as pick counters 981, 982 and 983 each assigned to a team. A handwheel 99 is used to adjust the chain tension and another handwheel, 100, is used. to the spring adjustment. pressure tab 42 (fig. 9) on the shuttle.
It should be noted that the chain breaker slats 101-102 (fig. 1) are arranged obliquely as follows. an acute angle, of approximately 35, with the vertical, which allows. avoid any deflection of the warp threads. These strips cooperate, in the known manner, with toothed bars and racks which are, in this case, arranged obliquely. .
