Timepiece. The present invention relates to a timepiece having a motor spring winding up and developing at the same end. This timepiece is characterized by a rotary winding device which appears partially outside the case of the timepiece to enable it to operate and which is returned to the initial position by the spring of which.
it constantly indicates the degree of winding, this device, which comprises at least one part, closing off the opening of the housing necessary for. his displacement.
The accompanying drawing represents, to. by way of example, several embodiments and variants of the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an alarm clock, a part of which is cut off.
The fir. ? is an elevational view of a detail of this clock.
Fig. 3 is a section on an enlarged scale along III-III of FIG. 2.
Fig. 1 is a view with partial section (1'111i detail.
The fi; . 5 is a section along V-V of 1a fi-0, 1. Figs. 6 and 7 are corresponding views. to that of FIG. 4, of two variants. Fig. 8 is a section similar to that (FIG. 3, of a variant.
Fig. 9 is. a plan view of a detail of a variant. Fig. 10 is a section taken along X-X of FIG. 9.
Figs. 11 and 12 correspond respectively to figs. 9 and 10 and relate to another variant.
Figs. 13 and 14 are. sections passing through the axis of two other embodiments. Finally, fig. 15 is a plan view of a final embodiment.
Fig. 16 is a section along XVI-XVI of fig. 15.
The clock shown comprises a base 1 carrying, by means of feet 2, a plate 3 on one face of which the dial is fixed, and on the opposite face (visible in fig. 1) of which is fixed the movement designated by 4. This movement is protected by a cap-shaped case 5 constituting the bell of the strike.
This cap is fixed on the rear face of the movement; a small annular space 6 is provided between this cap and the plate 3 to allow the cap to vibrate and also to allow the passage of an oscillating winding lever 7 rotatably mounted in the center of the plate 3 @. The lever 7 is used for winding, the chime and is integral with a dust-cover ring 8 arranged around the cap 5 and intended for. close the space 6.
The circle 8 has an interior rim S "(fit-, 3); it is. Held in place by three rollers 9a, 9b and 9c pivoted on the plate 3 and under which the rim 8z passes. The rollers 9 @ \ and 9 are located on a straight line passing slightly outside the center of the movement, so as to allow the hoop 8 to be placed while the rollers are already mounted on the stage.
The lever 7 is integral with a toothed sector 7a meshing with a pinion 10 forming part of the meshing movement. This pinion 10 is mounted square on the shaft 11 of the barrel 12 of the bell. This barrel is. fixed and, closes a mainspring 13 for the bell; this spring goes up and develops by its inner end fixed to the shaft 11. This. the latter also carries, also mounted square, a ratchet 1-1 cooperating with a pawl 15 carried by a wheel 16 mounted loose on the shaft 11 and forming part of the ringing train.
When reassembling the bell, the lever 7 is moved in the direction of arrow 17, which produces the drive of the shaft 11 in the direction of arrow 1.8. The wheel 16 is not driven, the pawl 15 jumping on the teeth of the ratchet 14. When the spring 13 develops, the shaft 11 turns in the opposite direction, causing the wheel 16 which controls the ringing and the lever 7. which returns to its initial position; the lever 7 thus indicates the degree of development of the spring. 13. The user can, when reassembling the bell, adjust the duration of the latter by moving lever 7 more or less in the direction of arrow 17.
In the variant of fig, 6, the lever (the winding is designated by 19, its toothed sector by 19a, the fixed ring barrel by 20, the motor spring by 2'1 and the barrel shaft by 22. The sector 19a meshes with a pinion 23 mounted squarely on the shaft? \ '. A wheel 2-1 is also mounted squarely on this shaft; this wheel drives a gearbox? 5 mounted on a rocker 26 and forming part of the ringing train.
A spring 7 acts on the lever 26 to keep the return gear in engagement with the wheel? 4.
During reassembly, the lever 19 is moved in the direction of arrow 28, which causes the shaft 22 to turn in the direction of arrow 29; the rocker 26 is then moved against the spring * 27, in the sets, (the arrow 30 and the teeth of the wheel '4 jump on those of the return? 5 without entering it. When the spring 21 develops, the tree '? Turns in the opposite direction,
forwarding '5 is initiated and ringing takes place; the lever 19 is then returned to its initial position.
In fig. 7, the mainspring of the bell is a coil spring 31, one end of which is hooked to a fixed pin 33 and the other end of which is hooked to the winding lever designated by 33. This latter is pitted at 31-, concent rique to a wheel 3'5 silencing part of the ringing train and which it drives by a pawl 36 mounted on it.
During reassembly, the lever 33 is moved in the direction of 1.1 arrow 37, which tightens the spring 31; the wheel 35 is not in drag, the pawl 36 jumping on its teeth. When the spring 31 relaxes, it returns the lever 33 to its initial position and the wheel 35 is driven by the pawl 36, which produces the ringing.
The decay in fig. 8 differs from that of FIG. 3 in that the rim 38a of the dust-cover circle designated by 38 is outside and no longer inside like the rim 8a, so that the -pellets 9 are located around the circle 38, outside of th elui-e i.
In fig. 9 and 10, the refitting lever, designated by 3.9, is integral with two arms 39f extending radially, 120 to the uri of the other and between which the toothed sector designated by 40 is formed. The hiding circle - dust -11 is fixed titi lever 39 and arms 39a.
In the wire. 11 and 12, the dust cover circle designated by -12 is fixed to the winding lever 7 and is fitted in a knot 43 made in the plate designated by -1-1. This core extending over more than 180,
the circle -12 is not small t- to be introduced or removed from it by a displacement perpendicular to the plane of the plate -1-1.
In the embodiment of FIG. 13, the dust cover ring designated as 4.] is guided and held in place by a back plate 46 secured by screws 47 to the movement frame. This arrangement makes the cap 5 shown in fi- superfluous. 1.
In fig. 1-1, the dust cover circle designated by 4-8 is replaced by a cap; this is pivoted in its center on a sleeve 49 fixed to the frame of the movement.
Finally, in the form of execution of the fi-. 15 and 16, the platen, designated 50, is sufficient. thick so that a recess 51 - is made in which the movement is housed. The winding lever 52 drags a cap 5 1 3 guided in the recess al. and of which. the bottom has an opening 54 making it possible to reach the organs of movement. A 5: 5 cover covers everything; an arcuate groove 56 is made in this cover. for the passage of the de- si handle @, born by 5? a of the lever 5 29 , This groove is.
located opposite the bottom of the cap 53 and not opposite the opening 5.1, so that it is constantly hidden by this cap.
