  Watertight container for liquids.

In patent No. 995093, a sealed container for liquids has been described comprising a filling duct extending at least partly inside the container, at least the terminal troneon terminating in the internal orifice of the duct being made. of a flexible material and being made such that, at rest, it is. flattened over at least part of its length and. its orifice. keep closed until the container contains liquid. the flattened part of said. stretch.

is crushed under the effect of] the pressure of the liquid and thus forms a check valve, this duct having in one place a passage section smaller than that of its orifice in the container, and a reinforcement being provided at least in the edge of the flattened part of said section, in order to prevent any. folding back of the duct on itself.

The object of the present invention is to further improve the functioning as a check valve of said filling duct.

The container which is the object of this invention is characterized in that it comprises means by which said duct is longitudinally curved for the purpose of preventing liquid contained in the container from seeping juice out to the outside. through this conduit.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the container forming the subject of the invention.

Fig. 1 is an elevational view of this embodiment.

Fig. 2 is a sectional view along 2-2 of FIG. 1, and
fig. 3 is a sectional view similar to that of FIG. 2, showing the container being filled.

The container shown comprises a casing 1 which is made of a very thin tube of a flexible material such as polyethylene, this tube being closed at the lower end of the casing by a weld 4 d. 'a part 5 of its wall against the opposite part 6.

At its upper end, the casing is partially closed by two weld sections 3 similar to the weld 4 and extending transversely from each of the edges of this envelope, and by two weld sections 3 substantially parallel to the edges. weld sections 3 and also extending transversely from each of the edges of the casing, at a certain distance. tanee above the weld sections 3.

A duct is inserted into the casing between the welds 3 and the welds 3 '. This duct is made of two sheets of a flexible material similar to that constituting the envelope and which are assembled to one another by welds 12 and. 13 between which there remains an orifice 19 at the lower end of the duct. These welds 12 and 13 form ribs which prevent the duct from sagging.
fold in on itself. The duct is fixed to the casing by welds 15 6 and 17-18 which are made in the extension of the welds 3 and which connect the walls of the casing and the two sheets constituting the conduit 11 together.

These welds connect respectively to the welds 12 and 13 joining the sheets together and to central welds connecting each sheet to the adjacent wall of the casing, between the corners 16 and 18, and limiting a restriction 14 of the duct. The duct 11 is, moreover, connected to the casing by welds 33 and 34 which are made in the extension of the welds 3 'and which connect the walls of the casing and the two sheets constituting the conduit 11 to one another.

The weld 34 is extended, moreover, downwards to the hard pennies 15-16 and. 17-18, so that the duct 11 is welded against the wall 5 of the casing inside a housing formed between the welds 3 and 3 '. This housing opens to the outside of the container through a lateral notch 35 formed in the casing between the welds 3 and 3 ', so as to allow a rigid tube 20 to be introduced into this housing.

When the tube 0 is introduced into the housing provided between the welds 3 and 3 ', the conduit 11 is forced to curve lengthwise around this tube while partially surrounding the latter. This improves the tightness of the check valve formed by line II.

In the container shown, the section inside the container of the conduit 11 is formed so as to have a tendency to wind up longitudinally on itself, at rest, as can be seen in FIG. 2. This arrangement also significantly improves the sealing of the. check valve formed by I eonduit 11. This tendency to roll up on itself that the internal section presents to the casing 1 of the duct 11 can. be obtained in several ways.

For example, in the embodiment shown, the duct 11 ready to be welded to the casing 1 has been rolled up longitudinally, and partially. around a mandrel of small diameter and it was brought, in this winding state, to the softening temperature of the material which constitutes it. This heat treatment can, for example, be carried out by means of a high frequency generator, the mandrel in question being made of a conductive material and constituting one of the plates of a capacitor whose part of the pipe which one wishes to heat constitutes the dielectric, this part being surrounded by another electrode.

If necessary, it is of course possible to interpose intermediate sheets, for example sheets of glass fiber coated with silicone between the sheets of the conduit 11 and between the turns of this conduit wound around the mandrel, in order to to prevent these sheets and these turns from probing each other.

The container described has the advantage of forming a whole because it comprises a housing containing a rigid tube 20 capable of being used to fill it and for the t danger. Thanks to the elasticity of the material constituting the casing 1 and the duct 11, the tube 20 arranged in the housing formed between the welds 3 and 3 'can not easily get lost or out of this housing, the wall 6 of the envelope tending to press the tube 20 against the lead. 11 and thus retain it in the housing. When it is desired to use the tube 20, it suffices to pinch the end of the housing opposite its opening. 35 to partially exit the tube 20 from the housing.

We can then grab this tube and extract it completely from the container to introduce it into the conduit 11, between the ends 16 e. t 1R of the welds 7 5-1-6 and 17-18 and to unwind the section of the duct 11 inside the casing by pushing this tube into the duct 11. When the duct 11 has been unwound in this way, can easily fill and empty the container through the tube 20.

When the tube 20 is subsequently withdrawn from the duct 11, the part of the latter inside the casing 1 again rolls up longitudinally on itself, ensuring a perfect seal of the container.
