Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 290585. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferhaltigen Polyazofarbstoffes: Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupfer haltigen Polyazofarbstoffes, welches darin be steht, da.ss man 1 Mol der Diazoverbindung aus dem Aminodisazofarbstoff, welchen man durch Kuppeln von diazotierter 2-Aminonaph- thalin - 6, 8 - disulfonsäure mit 1- Amino - 3-me- thylbenzol,
Weiterdiazotieren der Amino- monoazoverbindung und Kuppeln des Diazo- körpers mit 1-Amino-2-methoxy-5-methylben- zol erhält, mit 1 Mol der Kupferl@omplexver- bindung der Zusammensetzung

Im nachfolgenden Beispiel bedeuten die Teile Gewichtsteile. Beispiel: 56,7 Teile des Aminodisazofarbstoffes, wel chen man durch Kuppeln von diazotierter 2-Aminonaphthalin-6,8-disulfonsäure mit 1- Amino-3-methylbenzol, Weiterdiazotieren der Aminomonoazoverbindung und Kuppeln des Diazokörpers mit 1-Amino-2-methoxy-5-me- thylben7ol erhält, werden in 500 Teilen Was ser angerührt.
Man versetzt die Suspension mit 7 Teilen Natriumnitrit und stellt sie bei 10-12 unter gutem Rühren durch Zusatz von 50 Teilen konzentrierter Salzsäure kongo sauer. Nach ungefähr 2-3 Stunden ist die Diazotierung beendigt. Die erhaltene Diazo- verbindung wird mit der Lösung von 55,2 Teilen der Kupferkomplexverbindung der Zu sammensetzung

Zur Kupferung des erhaltenen Tetrakisazofarb- stoffes gibt man ihr bei 90 eine Lösung aus 25 Teilen kristallisiertem Kupfersulfat, 25 Teilen 25o/oigem Ammoniak und 100 Teilen Wasser zu und rührt sie nun so lange bei 90 bis 95 , bis sich die Kupferkomplexverbindung unter Aufspaltung der Methoxygruppe gebil det hat. Hierauf wird der Farbstoff in übli cher Weise isoliert und bei 90 getrocknet. Er färbt Baumwolle und Fasern aus regenerier ter Cellulose in oliven Tönen von hervorragen- der Lichtechtheit und sehr guter Waschecht heit.
