Be hälter 14 herrschenden Druck.
Device for sealing the shaft of a turbo machine by liquid blocking, for thermal power plants with gaseous working medium The invention relates to a device for sealing the shaft of a turbo-inasehine by liquid blocking, for Z, thermal power plants in which a gaseous ( yes work equipment describes a cycle under overpressure, whereby it is heated by the supply of heat from the outside,
is expanded in at least one turbine and re-compressed in at least one turbo compressor.
In known designs of such sealing units, sealing liquid is converted from a storage container under the gas pressure to be blocked by blocking liquid. Pump, iiio, esauo, t and brought the gas to be shut off to a slightly higher pressure.
At the shut-off point, at which an overflow of the gas-shaped working medium after a point of lower pressure, usually near the atmosphere, is to be prevented, part of the sealing liquid now flows in the direction towards the grass to be shut off. and then becomes the one under this.
The remaining part of the sealing liquid flows against the point of low pressure and then has to be pumped back from this low pressure (1 tireb another pump back into the storage container that is under the gas pressure to be shut off.
In such facilities, at least two pumps are required, one of which generates the overpressure required for the liquid barrier against the gas pressure to be shut off, while the other has to take care of the return of the barrier liquid flowing off the low pressure side at the barrier point.
The device according to the invention now achieves a simplification in that only one pump is required to fulfill both tasks. The device is characterized by a pump, which pumps the liquid used for blocking from atmospheric pressure to a fixed pressure, which is slightly higher than the highest pressure of the gas to be blocked, and by a throttle device, through which the pressure of the blocking liquid is automatically increased at any gas pressure is reduced to a pressure that increases the pressure of the crash to be blocked by a predetermined amount.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the device according to the Invention is illustrated in a simplified representation as an example .. Here, the sealing of a shaft end of the turbine of the thermal power plant is shown.
Of the turbine of the thermal power plant, only part 1 of the rotor with a right-hand shaft end 2 is shown. After leaving the system, the work equipment enters an exit space 3. The shaft end 2 is stored in a store 4,
which at the same time acts as a liquid barrier to seal off a pressurized gas space from the outside. A further room 6 is provided between room 5 and the exit room 3 of the door. Between the spaces 3 and 6 there is a labyrinth seal 7 on the shaft part adjoining the turbine rotor and between the spaces 16, < / B> and 5 a labyrinth wire 8 arranged.
Cold sealing gas is fed through a line 9 to your room 6, which is taken from the circuit of the thermal power plant at a point at which the working medium has a higher pressure than in the outlet room 3 > the turbine. The sealing gas is fed to a line 10 connected to line 9 at a point 11 .
In the Ra-Lune 6 there is thus a higher pressure than in the exit space 3 of the turbine, so that a certain amount of cold barrier gas always flows through the labyrinth seal 7 </ B> flows in the direction of the turbine rotor 1 and prevents hot working fluid from flowing along the shaft against the bearing 4 after it has left the turbine.
The space 5 is connected to a container 14 by lines 12 and 13 . Part of the sealing gas now flows through the labyrinth seal 8 from room 6 into room 5. The pressure in this room is the same as in the room Container 14. A valve 15 ensures that the pressure in the container 14 is always slightly smaller than that in the space 6. The upper surface of a with the closing body of the Valve 15 connected plate 16 . under the effect of the pressure in the line 10 and thus also under that of the room -6 and is sealed by a bellows 17 ..
The valve plate, on the other hand, is under the effect of the pressure in the container 14. A pretensioned tension spring 18 ensures that the valve always remains open, if not the pressure in the line 10 or in your Raimie 6 DriLek in the container 14 overflows by a certain amount.
Gas can then flow out of the container 14 through a line 19 until a certain predetermined driiek difference between the spaces 6 and 5 is reached and a certain amount of the sealing gas always flows through the labyrinth seal 8 in the direction towards the La, -er 4, preventing oil from escaping from the bearing can get into the sealing gas space 6 .
The bearing point 4, which now also serves to seal the turbine shaft by blocking the liquid, is supplied with the barrier liquid, that is to say the oil of the bearing, through a line 220. The oil is sucked in by a pump 21 from a storage container 22 which is under atmospheric pressure and conveys to a fixed pressure which is slightly higher than the highest pressure of the gas blocking the gas in space 5. The pumped oil comes from the pump '21 into a line 23.
An overflow valve built into a line 24 ensures that a certain pressure is maintained in the line 2,3. The latter is now connected to the line 20 leading to the bearing point 4 via a throttle element 26 and a line 27 .
The throttle member 26 has a throttle piston 28 and a further piston 29 connected to it. The space below half of the throttle piston 218 is connected by a line 30 to the line 27 and the space above the piston 2 # 9 is connected to it by a line 31 the container 14. The lower surface of the piston 28 is thus under the pressure of the barrier liquid to be directed to the bearing point 4 and the upper surface of the piston '29 is under the pressure of the im. Be container 14 prevailing pressure.
A further load on the piston 29 by a compression spring 32) now ensures that the throttle piston 26 supplies the liquid to the line - '27 interrupted only when the pressure in this line exceeds the pressure in the container 14 and thus the pressure of the gas blocking the supply in the space 5 tim, for example about 0.3 at. This amount is determined by the tension of the spring 32 .
The pressure of the barrier fluid is thus automatically reduced by the throttle organ 26 with each gas pressure to a pressure that exceeds the pressure of the gas blocking the supply by a predetermined amount.
M The oil conveyed by the pump 21- is -in the time- also used to supply a 0 ir e, e C Radial bearing 33 and axial bearing 34 of the comparator of the thermal power plant are used. Of the rotor of the compressor, only part of the shaft labeled 35 is shown with three mounted running wheels 36 .
The working equipment enters the first stage of the inlet chamber 37, in which there is an overpressure against the atmosphere.
Since the shown shaft end of the diaphragm is not coupled to another machine, the bearing housing (read shaft end completely encloses so that no liquid has to be shut off from the atmosphere through the La, point. The bearing is surrounded by a space 38 , which, like the turbine-side space 5, is in communication with the line 12, and in which the pressure of the container 1.4 also prevails.
Two labyrinth seals 39 and 40 separate a space 41 that encompasses the shaft 315 iun- ..e , on the one hand from space 38 </ B> and on the other hand from the inlet space 37 of the compressor. The space 41 is supplied in the same way as the space -6 sealing gas through the line 10 .
The storage points 33, 34 are constantly under the gas pressure of the container 14. They are connected through a line 42 from the line -) - 27 with 01 < / B> supplied. The throttle or,., An 26 already described in its effect now ensures that the La, -create 38, 34 with 01 </ B> are supplied from a pressure slightly higher than the pressure of the surrounding gas,
so that a sufficient flow of Sehmiermittel through the storage locations is guaranteed. The oil flowing from the bearing points 33, 34, together with that which emerges on the left side at the bearing point 4, passes through the lines 12 and 13 > into container 14.
On the other hand, the oil flowing off to the atmospheric side at the storage point 4 on the right is returned through a line 43 to the storage container 22. A valve 44 built into the container 14 regulates the outflow of the oil from this container into a after the storage container 2, 12. leading line 45.
The valve 44 is actuated by pressurized oil, which is taken from the line 23 through a line 47 provided with an orifice 46 and acts on a piston 49 loaded by a spring 48 A float 50 / B> closes a drain point # 51 for the control oil when the liquid level in the container 14 reaches a certain height. The pressure of the control oil under the piston 49 increases, the closing body of the valve 44 being raised against the action of the spring 48 and releasing the drainage of oil into the line 45.
The device described thus contributes to the fact that the bearing point 4 serving to block the liquid as well as the other bearing points under pressure 3, 3, 34 are always supplied with barrier or lubricating liquid, which is before the required Has pressure which exceeds the pressure of the gas to be blocked uni a predetermined amount.
Instead of the spring 32, as in the embodiment of the device shown, the throttle organ can also be loaded, for example, by a weight, the size of which determines the amount by which the pressure of the barrier fluid is applied the pressure of the gas to be blocked has to be exceeded.
The correct mode of operation of the device also occurs when the pressure level in the thermal power plant is changed for the purpose of regulating the output. Since the line N at point 11 is connected to a specific point in the circuit, this pressure changes at the same time. the pressure level of the circuit. If the pressure rises, the valve 15 is closed, and as a result of the overflow of sealing gas through the labyrinth seal 8 , the pressure in space 5 </ B> and in container 14.
Sinks. as against the pressure of the sealing gas, the valve 15 ensures that no gas is released from the space 5 in the opposite direction through the labyrinth 8 < / B> flows, with the risk that oil would be entrained and could reach the hot turbine rotor through the labyrinth seal 7 .
A decrease in the sealing gas pressure causes the valve 15 to rise and gas to escape from the container 14 through the line 19 in such an amount that the pressure in this container always remains smaller than the sealing gas pressure.
