Description

Durable preparation for the production of ice colors in stuff printing For the production of ice colors in stuff printing using diazoamino compounds, thickened caustic alkali solutions of the coupling components and coupling components used in ice color production are used.

Alkaline salts of diazoamino compounds, which contain solubilizing groups in the residue not involved in the formation of the dye, are printed on the fiber, and the dye is then developed by the action of dilute acids or acid vapor.

With regard to the disadvantages that the subsequent acid treatment with. brings itself., has not. There are no attempts and suggestions to bring about the development of ice colors in the stuff store by steaming with neutral steam, all the more so since it is the only way to produce ice colors at the same time as vat dyes.

The only process of this type that has been technically carried out on a larger scale is the process described in German Patent No. 697185, in which the fixed alkalis used up to then in the printing pastes are completely or partially replaced by volatile oxygenated bases, sufficient with steam.

Recently, preparations have been found (see patents Ni-n. 310797 and 313361) that allow the simplest way to generate ice colors in the Zeugdruek by steaming with neutral steam if you add the amount of alkali used in the previous printing pastes that eats necessary to bring the ice color component in the printing paste into solution.

It has now been found that it is possible not inconsiderably to increase the yield of paraffin, to improve the durability of the printing pastes significantly and to match the paraffin thicknesses on synthetic fibers with those on cotton.

The subject of the present patent is a durable preparation for the production of ice colors in fabric printing, characterized in that it contains a neutrally cleavable diazoamino compound with at least one soluble group in the stabilizer, as is preferably achieved by combining negatively substituted amines with Stabilizers of a basic character or

are obtained from positively substituted amines with stabilizers of basic character, a coupling component for ice colors and an alkali salt of a halogenated fatty acid and a fixed alkali in an amount of 1 to 2 moles per mole of the coupling component contains.

The preparations according to the invention are considerably superior to the known ones. Even in compression with vat dyes, the content of the preparations in salts of halogenated fatty acids prevents the disadvantageous influence of the azo dyes by volatile reducing compounds and by transferring unwanted compounds such as alkali, sodium salt of oxymethanesulfinic acid and the like. a., largely from the vat dye batches.

Essential for the achievable effect is, as tests have shown, the use of such diazoamino compounds, the components due to their labile character in their Kom, ie H. are cleavable into the diazo compound and the stabilizer. It switch off diazoamino compounds that arise from the combination of diazotized amines with negative character and strongly basic stabilizers, such as those in the combinations:

4-chloro-2-toluidine + sarcosine, 5-nitro-2-toluidine + methyltaurine, 4-chloro-2 = anisidine + sarcosine, 4-nitro-2-anisidine + proline and the like. Under the conditions in which the preparations according to the invention are used, these show insufficient cleavage properties. Suitable halogen fatty acids are, for. B.

Called monochloroacetic acid and monochloropropionic acid. One had already suggested to the: Disadvantages of the subsequent acid treatment to. Avoid using preparations for making ice colors in the Zeugdi-Lick which contain acid-releasing agents., ti. a.

sodium monohaloacetate. None of these processes had any practical success because they used amounts of lye that were previously customary in the acid vapor process, or because diazoamido compounds were used in them,

which, due to their stable character, did not show sufficient cleavage. They all provided the police station and therefore did not meet the technical requirements. sufficient driieke.
