Description

  

      Dispositif    de raccordement de conduites d'eau    La présente invention a pour objet un dis  positif de raccordement de conduites d'eau.  Ce dispositif est destiné à être     utilisé    notam  ment pour le raccordement de     boilers    dans  des installations de distribution d'eau chaude.  



  Dans ces installations de distribution d'eau  chaude comprenant un     boiler,    il arrive sou  vent que l'intérieur de ce dernier soit détério  ré par action     électrolytique.    On a constaté  que les courants responsables de cet effet nui  sible sont dus à la présence de couples élec  triques le long de la canalisation, couples dus  au raccordement de tuyaux de cuivre à des  tuyaux de fer qui sont en contact électrique  l'un avec l'autre.  



  L'utilisation dans ce cas du     dispositif    selon  l'invention permet d'empêcher que ces cou  rants galvaniques parasites n'atteignent l'in  térieur du     boiler.    Ce dispositif est caractérisé  selon l'invention en ce qu'il comporte une  pièce tubulaire en matière élastique et isolante  de l'électricité, présentant une collerette, cette  pièce étant engagée sur l'extrémité d'une des  conduites et à l'intérieur de l'extrémité de l'au  tre, la collerette étant pressée, par un     organe     de serrage, contre l'extrémité de la seconde  conduite, le tout afin d'assurer, d'une part,  l'étanchéité du joint entre les deux conduites  et d'autre part, l'isolation électrique entre ces  dernières.

      La figure unique du dessin présente à ti  tre d'exemple, en coupe longitudinale partielle,  une forme d'exécution du dispositif objet de  l'invention.  



  On voit en 1 un tuyau de cuivre, par  exemple, raccordé à un tuyau 2 en fer, par  exemple. Le dispositif de raccord comprend  une pièce 3, de forme tubulaire, en matière  élastique et isolante de l'électricité, par exem  ple en caoutchouc, supportant sans inconvé  nient des températures jusqu'à 1000. Cette  pièce 3 est engagée sur l'extrémité du tuyau 1,  de manière à la dépasser légèrement. Elle est  par ailleurs engagée à l'intérieur de l'extré  mité du tuyau 2, pour faire     saillie    à l'exté  rieur de ce tuyau. La pièce 3 comporte,     dans     sa région médiane, une collerette 4, s'appli  quant contre l'extrémité 5 du tuyau 2 de plus  grand diamètre.

   Un     organe    de serrage 6, ex  térieurement en forme de six-pans, se visse  sur l'extrémité filetée du tuyau 2 et vient,  par sa partie annulaire 7, presser la     collerette     4 contre l'extrémité 5 du tuyau 2. Sous l'ef  fet de ce serrage, la matière élastique de la  pièce 3 est comprimée et vient assurer un  joint étanche entre les tuyaux 1 et 2. On voit  que, par la disposition de la pièce 3, on as  sure non seulement cette étanchéité, mais aussi  l'isolation électrique des tuyaux 1 et 2, ce qui  par conséquent élimine toute formation de      courant     galvanique    par le contact entre tuyaux  formés de métaux     différents.     



  On remarquera que la partie 7 de l'organe  de serrage 6 est empêchée de venir en contact  avec le tuyau 1 par l'organe 3, par le fait que  la collerette se trouve à une distance suffisante  de l'extrémité extérieure de cet organe 3.

This device is characterized according to the invention in that it comprises a tubular part made of elastic and electrically insulating material, having a collar, this part being engaged on the end of one of the pipes and inside the the end of the other, the collar being pressed, by a clamping member, against the end of the second pipe, the whole in order to ensure, on the one hand, the tightness of the joint between the two pipes and secondly, the electrical insulation between them.

      The single figure of the drawing shows by way of example, in partial longitudinal section, an embodiment of the device which is the subject of the invention.



  We see in 1 a copper pipe, for example, connected to an iron pipe 2, for example. The connection device comprises a part 3, of tubular shape, made of elastic and electrically insulating material, for example rubber, withstanding temperatures up to 1000 without inconvenience. This part 3 is engaged on the end of the pipe 1, so that it protrudes slightly. It is also engaged inside the end of the pipe 2, to protrude outside this pipe. The part 3 comprises, in its middle region, a flange 4, which is applied against the end 5 of the pipe 2 of larger diameter.

   A clamping member 6, externally in the shape of a hexagon, is screwed onto the threaded end of the pipe 2 and comes, through its annular part 7, to press the collar 4 against the end 5 of the pipe 2. Under the ef fect of this tightening, the elastic material of the part 3 is compressed and comes to ensure a tight seal between the pipes 1 and 2. It can be seen that, by the arrangement of the part 3, we are sure not only this tightness, but also the electrical insulation of pipes 1 and 2, which consequently eliminates any formation of galvanic current by contact between pipes made of different metals.



  It will be noted that part 7 of the clamping member 6 is prevented from coming into contact with the pipe 1 by the member 3, by the fact that the collar is located at a sufficient distance from the outer end of this member 3. .
