Remote control device for railway safety systems The use of remote control units in railway safety systems still encounters certain difficulties, especially when transmitting commands for setting signals and points, since serious risks can arise if they are incorrectly transmitted.
The same requirement is therefore placed on remote control devices as on railway safety systems in general, that neither internal errors nor external influences may lead to false reports or that such errors must be immediately noticeable.
In the present remote control device for railway sieving systems, the transmission of different commands takes place, z. B. On and Off commands, by direct current pulses of different polarity over a pair of wires from a transmitting point to a receiving point. These Gleiellist.romimpu: lse are z.
B. generated by pressing an on / off switch. and advantageously excite connection relays, the contacts of which switch the assigned direct current pulses to the wire pair. In the sending station as well as in the receiving station are synchronously arbei tend switching devices available, z. B. step switch units or relay chains, whose synchronous operation is at least partially monitored.
These switching devices have a number of switching positions which are arranged in a specific order, with each command, i.e. direct current pulse, corresponding to a specific switching position of this switching device. In the sending point and in the receiving point, these direct current pulses each act on pulse relays. Contacts of the pulse relays in the receiving station operate the receiving relays.
The invention is now characterized in that a switching element is present in the receiving point, which is influenced by contacts of the pulse relays and contacts of the receiving relays when the direct current pulse has the opposite polarity compared to the immediately preceding pulse on one and the same switch position .der switching device has, and that, after actuating a receiving relay by means of a contact de, s switching element and a contact of the pulse relay.
has been, which holds the transmitted direct current pulse as a transmitted command, via a contact of a receiving relay and a contact of a pulse relay and a contact of the switching element, an alternating current is switched to the wire pair.
which is superimposed on the direct current impulses and is received by a receiving device at the transmission point of the direct current pulses, where a delayed fault reporting device in the event of contacts of this receiving device and a switching element via contacts of a pulse relay in the transmission point and a contact of a transmission control relay control which via its contacts the on / off relay for the direct current pulses and the fault reporting device,
which has not yet worked as a result of the delay, switches off, whereby the pulse relays are de-energized and bring the switching devices to the next switching position by means of their contacts and cause the switching elements to return to their basic positions.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6. 1 shows the transmission circuit which connects the sending point S and the receiving point E via the wires I and II. With A, B, C. and D the pulse relays are designated, which are polarized relays, but can also be relays with valve cells.
With the help of the contacts X1 and X2 of the connection relay X and the contacts Y1 and Y2 of the connection relay Y, the direct current pulses are switched to the wires I and II. The circuit for the connection of the alternating current in the receiving point E consists of the Primary winding of the transformer TE, the contact AB1 of the switching organ AB (Fig. 6), the contacts A3 and B3 of the pulse relay A or
B, the contacts EP2 and EI1I2 of the receiving relays EP and E11 and an alternating current source. The secondary winding of the transformer TE is connected to wires I and II via the capacitor IKE.
In the transmission point S, the secondary winding of the transformer TS is connected to the same wires I and II via the capacitor KS. The primary winding of the transformer TS is connected to the receiving device IV, which consists of an AC relay. The receiving device can also consist of a direct current relay with a valve cell or an electron tube. The pulse relays C and.
D in the transmitting station S are protected from the influence of the alternating current by the choke DS and the pulse relays A and Bin of the receiving station E by the choke DE .
Fig. 2 shows the circuit of the impulse switch-on relay X and Y for the DC pulses. This circuit contains the contact CD1 of the switching element CD, the rotor of the switching device SchS, which is in the The drawing is on switch position 3, the pulse switches on and off, which are to be actuated according to the command to be transmitted,
and the coils of the connection relays X and Y as well as the self-holding contacts X3 and Y3 of the relays X and Y. connected in parallel with the pulse switches
Fig. 3 shows the circuit of the switching organ CD in the transmission point S. This circuit contains the contact. W1 of the receiving device W (Fig. 1), the contacts Cl and Dl .the relays C and
D, which are closed depending on the polarity of the Gleiehst.romimpttlses, which corresponds to the given on or off command, and the contacts SP1 and S111 of transmission control relay Sp or S.II, not shown, and the coil of the switching element CD. The self-holding contacts CD2 or CD3 parallel to the contacts SPl. or.
S.411 keep the armature of the Seha.ltorgans CD in its attracted position when the contacts SP1 or Slll of the transmission control relay SP or 8.11 open again. The armature of the relay, which is the switching element CD in the drawing, is. attracted when current flows through the coil of the relay and dropped when no current flows. It is. but it is also conceivable that the armature of this relay has dropped out when current flows through the coil and is attracted when no current flows.
The switching element can also be provided as a relay with mechanical or magnetic support or consist of several relays.
Fig. 4 shows the circuit of the fault reporting device. This circuit contains the contact W \ _ 'of the receiving device W (Fig. 1,), the contact CD4 of the switching device CD (Fig. 3) and the coil of the relay V, which is provided with a delay device not shown. The armature of relay V has dropped out. when there is no current flowing through the relay coil.
It is. but it is also conceivable that the anchor is pulled when no current is flowing. The actual delay device can be of a mechanical or electrical type, with relay coils with short-circuit fluctuations or capacitors being used to implement an electrical delay.
Fig. 5 shows the circuit of the Emp catch relays EP and E11. This circuit contains the contact AB4 of the switching organ AB (Fig. 6), the contacts Al and B1, which are closed according to the polarity of the transfer NEN DC pulse, and the Coils of the receiving relays EP and EihI as well as the Sehalteinrichtimg SchE, whose rotor is in switching position 3 in the example shown.
By mutual mechanical support of the relays EP and E112, the transmitted command is held when the relays EP and E11 are de-energized. The position shown corresponds. the one command. It is. also .thinkable, this relay with. Self-retaining or to be provided with magnetic support.
Fig. 6 shows the circuit of the switching organs AB in the receiving point E. This circuit contains the contacts A2 and B2 of the relays A and B, which depending on the polarity of the track current pulse corresponding to the received command. Are closed and the contacts EP1 and EJIl and the coil of the switching element AB. Self-holding e-contacts AB3 or
AB2 parallel to contacts EP1 or E711 hold the armature of the switching element AB in its attracted position when the contacts EP1 or EII1 of the receiving relay open again. The armature of the relay, which represents the switching element AB in the drawing, is attracted when no current flows through the coil of the relay and dropped out when no current flows. However, it is also conceivable that the armature of the relay has dropped out when current flows through the coil and is attracted when no current flows.
The switching element can also be used as a relay. mechanical or magnetic support or consist of several relays. As the comparison of Fig. 3 and Fig. 6 shows, it is possible to build parts of the switchgear of the sending and receiving points in such a way that they consist at least partially of relays and contacts of the switching elements with the same switching functions.
M'enn now z. B. the command from the transmitting station .S to the receiving station E is to be transmitted, the receiving relay EP (Fig. 5) is on., And this command corresponds to a DC pulse that compared to the. immediately preceding NEN has the opposite polarity, the following processes take place:
The relay Y (Fig. 2) is over the pulse contact In the off and the contact CDl it excites and hangs on its self-holding contact Y3; Contacts Y1 and Y2 (Fig. 1) close the circuit of battery plus via contact Y2, the coil of the pulse relay D, wire 1I, coil of the pulse relay B, choke DE, Wire I, choke DS, contact, Y1 on battery minus; Relays D and B are energized.
As a result, the circuit of this switching element AB (Fig. 6) in the receiving point E via contact B2 of the energized pulse relay B and the closed contact, EJIl, corresponding to the position Ein of the relays EP and EII (Fig. 5) closed.
The relay AB picks up and closes the circuit of the receiving relay EH of battery plus via contact. AB4, contact B1, coil of relay E111, switch position 3 and the rotor of the switching device SchE to battery minus. The receiving relay Ell picks up and triggers the mechanical support of relay EP.
Contact E711 (Fig. 6) of relay E711 opens; but this has no consequences since. the self-holding contact AB2 of the relay AB has closed parallel to this contact. The relay E: 17 holds the transmitted command Off.
The contacts B3 and AB1 (Fig. 1) in the receiving point E are now also closed and switch over the closed contact. E112 alternating current on the primary side of the transformer TE. Alternating current flows from the secondary side of the transformer TE via the capacitor KE on wire I to the capacitor KS in the transmission point S,
Primary side of the transformer TS on wire II and back to the transformer TE. On the secondary side of the transformer TS is. The AC relay W is switched on as the receiving device, which now responds and closes its contacts W1 and W2 (Fug. 3 and 4).
The delayed working relay V (Fug. 4) receives. Voltage across the closed contact W2 and contact CD4. At the same time it also holds the relay CD (Fug. 3) voltage via the closed contacts W1 and Dl and the contact Slll .. Since the relay CD picks up faster than the delayed . working relay V, your contact CD4 interrupts the circuit of relay V before its armature has worked ..
Contacts of the relays, CD and D control transmission control relays SP and S11, whose circuits are not shown.
The contact S311 of the transmission control relay A9lll is opened, but the relay CD nonetheless remains energized because its self-holding contact (D3 bridges the contact S111. With the contact CDl (Fug.
2) of the relay CD , the circuit of relay Y is interrupted, so that it drops out and switches off the direct current from d-em wire pair I and II by means of contacts Y1 and Y2.
As a result, the relays D and B drop out again and open the circuits d, he relay AB (Fug. 6), E31 (Fug. 5) and CD (Fug. 3), after which the relays AB and CD return to their basic position, while relay E11 remains mechanically supported. The switching devices are brought to the next switching position via contacts (not shown) of relays A or B and C or D.
Against external current or an untimely alternating current from the receiving point, the device is protected in such a way that each alternating current entering the wire pair excites the relay W, which influences the fault reporting device (FIG. 4) via the contact W2.
If it is assumed that at the time of the entry of the external current there is no transmission of a different command immediately preceding it, then. Do not pull the relay CD (Fig. 3) because the transmission control relay in this position matches the polarity of the direct current pulse sent immediately before and contact C1 is open.
As a result, the contact CD4 remains closed, so that the fault is reported after the delay time has elapsed.
However, if the regular alternating current should fail due to disruptive influences, the receiving device W and subsequently the switching element CD cannot work at the sending point S of the direct current pulse, which causes the command transmitted to deni to work accordingly The circuit of the impulse switch on X or Y remains permanently closed and the direct current is not switched off.
The Sehalteinriehtungen SchS and SchE (Fug. 2 and 5) cannot continue in this case. In this case, too, the fault is reported via means not shown here.
The drawn embodiment of the invention includes the possibility of using the so-called vacant positions of the safety devices, that is to say those switching elements that are not occupied by stop relays for commands. are: and serve as reserve positions for further expansion, to order test positions.
When the switching devices circulate, each time these test positions return, a direct current pulse is switched to these test positions, the polarity of which requires the alternating current to be switched on at the receiving point.
The remote control device can also be designed in such a way that part of the switching positions of the switching device in the transmitting point also acts as a receiving device. .the same part of the Sehaltst.stellungen the switching device in the receiving station also acts as a transmitting device. This allows commands to be transmitted in both directions with a remote control device.
Be especially if the switching device in the transmitting station is identical. With. those in the receiving center, this measure has a rela-saving effect.
