Description

Device for conveying liquids, in particular for supplying burners with liquid fuel The invention relates to a further development from the device specified in the claim of the main patent for conveying liquids, in particular for supplying burners with liquid fuel.

Those in the referenced patent. The device described is characterized by a riser communicating with a liq sigkeitsvorrat, which ends above the liquid supply level and optionally merges into an attached downpipe and is at least partially heated in the area of the liquid in it.

For metering the amount of liquid supplied to the consumer, according to a proposal laid down in this patent specification, a receiving vessel is connected between the consumer and the liquid supply, the liquid being conveyed via the heated riser into the receiving vessel and from there fed to the consumer via a metering device becomes.

If necessary, too much pumped liquid flows back from the receiving vessel via a return line into the storage container.

It has now been found that with this arrangement, the warm liquid flowing back causes undesirable and possibly harmful heating of the liquid supply in the storage container. In addition, it has been found that the flow rate of the liquid through the nozzle in the receiving vessel does not remain constant due to the changes in viscosity with changes in temperature.

so that the delivery can become irregular. This can have an extremely unfavorable effect when delivering fuel to a burner.

In order to avoid these disadvantages, it is proposed according to the invention to separate the ther niische conveyor system from the control system ther mix. This thermal separation of the control system and the conveyor system takes place z.

   B. by the fact that the device for Rege development and dosing of the liquid dispensing is ruled out directly on the reservoir and so the liquid in the cold state to the 'thermal Ia'ördersystem reaches, from where only the promotion to the level above the reservoir level and the subsequent feeding of the consumer takes place.

This arrangement not only eliminates the disadvantages mentioned above, but also allows the Velwen-Jung a larger standard cross-section, because when promoting z. B. of oil, this oil has a higher viscosity in the cold state by entering the control system. Such a larger standard cross-section, however, has a significantly less tendency to blockages and it can also be used to use fuel that does not need to be @aiisfilteredQrt to such an extent, i.e. is cheaper.

A branch circuit is preferably switched into the thermal conveying system. While in the previous design, when readjusting the fuel supply, as a result of the resulting increase in temperature of the fuel, which is now flowing in smaller quantities through the same heating zone, bubbles can form in the thermal conveying system, which leads to the thrust-like conveyance of fuel into the burner and soot formation in the burner,

these disadvantages are completely avoided in the formation of the promotion with bypass ziun heated riser.

Another advantage of this secondary circuit is that the risk of oil residue deposits in the thermal conveyor system is avoided. Overheating in the delivery system, which has been possible up to now, causes a certain degree of polymerisation of the oil, which leads to deposits in the pipeline.

The two parts of the liquid flowing in a circle are not only exposed to less warming, but also accelerate their speed of circulation with higher heat supply, so that any deposit particles that may form cannot settle in the first place, but are washed away. In addition, the liquid is in motion as long as any heat is still being transferred from the burner to the heated riser.

The drawing shows a Ausführungsbei game of the subject invention.

11 with the reservoir for the liquid fuel is designated, which consists of an upper part 12 and a lower part 13, in which the constant fuel level gel s is maintained. The fuel level s is determined by the lower edge of the INT level tube 14. In the container part 13, which is in communication with the atmosphere via the pipe 15, there is also a small storage vessel 16 for receiving the amount of heating for the burner, which starts the thermal promotion, which will be described in detail later ter brings.

The fuel flows from the container 13 through the connecting line 17 to the regulating vessel 18, which has two rooms 19, 20. From the space 19, the fuel enters the space 20 provided with an adjusting nozzle 22 via the channel 21. The A control nozzle 22 has the nozzle opening on the Boh tion 23, which can be closed ver by the control member 24, which is pressed by the pressure of the spring 25 into its closed position.

Adjusting the screw bolt 26 opens and closes the control element 24. Depending on the opening of the bore 23, more or less fuel passes into a third space 27, from which der.Brennstoff reaches the heated riser pipe 29 via line 28 , which is in thermally conductive connection with the burner 30 and ends in the area of the reversing line 31 above the level s.

Through the riser 29, the fuel rises as a result of the sen heating until it reaches the downpipe 32 via the reversing line 31, from where it exits the burner 30 via the line 33.

In parallel to the riser pipe 29, a bridging pipe 34 is connected. The lines 35, 36, 37 and the three-way valve 38 are used to supply the burner with the amount of ignition in the container 16, depending on the position of the valve 38 Counterclockwise (in the direction of the arrow) the ignition quantity flows off to the burner.

When the tap 38 is rotated by 180 from the position shown, the storage container part 13 is directly connected to the burner, bypassing the control system 18.

The mode of operation of the arrangement is as follows: The fuel metered by the control system 18 reaches the riser 29 and is there by heating it from the burner above the level s through the line 31, 32, 33 into the burner.

If the fuel supply is reduced by adjusting the control element 3, the fuel is partially circulated through the bypass line 34 if there is still excess heat in the burner, the speed of this circulation increasing according to the heat content of the burner still present directs.

When the fuel supply is completely shut off, the thermal delivery system does not come to a standstill at the same time, which would lead to strong heating of the fuel in the riser and thus to the formation of bubbles and fuel delivery in batches, but the fuel circulates through the bypass line 34 until it finally cools down the burner comes to rest. This avoids any overheating of the fuel.

In addition to avoiding the formation of bubbles, eliminating the risk of overheating prevents the oil from polymerizing, so that deposits are largely avoided or washed off the walls of the pipes by the constantly circulating fuel.
