Mixer which is provided with a screw clamp for its attachment to a table top or the like. The invention relates to a mixer which is provided with a screw clamp for its attachment to a table top or the like. In previous mixers of this type, the upper leg of the screw clamp was fork-shaped so that it could grip around an edge section of the base. It has been shown, however, that with this type of attachment the mixer could not be connected to the table top or the like in a practically sufficient manner.
The present invention overcomes this disadvantage in that the upper leg of the screw clamp extends through a slot provided in the base of the mixer at least as far as the center of the base and rests there on a base part.
In the accompanying drawing, an example of Ausfüh the invention is shown. It is: FIG. 1 a perspective view of a mixer vessel, a base and a screw clamp before their assembly, FIG. 2 a section through the lower part of the mixer vessel and through the base, with the screw clamp inserted in the latter.
The mixer has a conical downward ver younger vessel 1, the z. B. can consist of a transparent plastic. The same is provided at the top with an edge 2, which is used to attach a drive unit, not shown. This unit can have an electric motor or be provided with a crank for manual drive and a reduction gear. On the main shaft of the drive unit, which protrudes axially into the vessel 1, knives are attached which, when this shaft rotates rapidly, crush the fruits, vegetables or the like brought into the mixer vessel and mix them with each other and with liquids.
The vessel 1 is also provided with three stiffening ribs 3 pressed in. A lower extension 4 of the vessel has an internal thread 5 which engages in an external thread 6 of a hub-shaped part 7 of the base 8. The extension 4 lies in a groove 9 of the base 8, the outer wall surface 10 of which is just as conical as the outer surface of the extension 4, which outer surface merges into the outer surface of the vessel without a kink.
When the vessel 1 is screwed onto the base 8, the outer surface of the extension 4 comes to rest under pressure on the outer wall surface 10 of the groove 9, the pressure being greater the tighter the screwing. The vessel and the base are connected to one another extremely firmly and securely. In addition, the extension 4 could still be glued or cemented in the groove 9. The upper leg 12 of a screw clamp 13 is inserted through a slot 11 in the base. As can be seen from Fig. 2, this leg extends over the center of the base 8 and is there on the base 14 on the base.
It has been shown that in this way the mixer can be connected very firmly to a table top or the like by means of the screw clamp.
The vessel 1 could be permanently or releasably connected to the base 8 in any other way, e.g. B. by means of a bayonet connection. The base does not necessarily have to have a continuous base 14, and the upper clamp leg 12 does not need to rest on it everywhere; However, it must rest in the middle of the base on part of this base so that the connection ensures the desired strength.
