Description

Paper machine The invention relates to a paper machine with wire section, press section, dryer section and final part, in which there is a machine house corridor that extends over the entire length of the machine and at least the dryer section has a cellar.

Since the paper draws between the individual drying cylinders should be as short as possible, the felt dryers are arranged above and below the drying cylinders, which are usually on two levels. The basement beneath the dryer section is now used to accommodate the felt dryers below and the necessary felt guidance and also to accommodate the rejects when the paper machine starts up. It must be accessible to operate the machine parts and to remove the scrap.

Taking into account the temperatures arising from the heat emitted by the felt dryers and the developing steam plumes, this basement under the machine house corridor must have a minimum height of around 2.8 meters in order to create only halfway tolerable conditions for the operating personnel fen. In addition, a staircase overcoming this height is necessary, on which the operating personnel can get from the machine house hallway into the basement, which is very cumbersome for operation.

The present invention now aims to create a paper machine in which the unterelle tion under the dryer section is more easily accessible to the operating personnel and the height required for them can be reduced to a minimum. In a paper machine of the type described at the outset, the machine foundation of the dryer section protrudes beyond the height of the machine house floor for this purpose. In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in a simplified representation.

1 shows a schematic side view of the paper machine and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line 11-II of FIG. 1 on a larger scale.

In the paper machine shown in Fig. 1, a umlau fendes sieve 1 is arranged on the input side on the right. A fiber suspension is fed to this and dewatered on it to such an extent that a self-supporting fiber fabric web is created. Wet presses 2 then follow to the left of the sieve, in which as much water is removed from the web as can be achieved mechanically without crushing the fiber fabric. After an offset press 3 to improve the surface of the Pa pier web come steam-heated drying cylinders 4, which are wrapped in felt webs.

The paper web runs between the drum and the felt web, whereby the water contained in the paper web evaporates. Felt dryers 5 are attached above and below the drying drums. After the drying cylinders, there are two cooling cylinders 6, a calender 7 and finally a roller device 8 which rolls up the finished paper web. A basement 9 is provided to accommodate the felt dryer 5 and to provide access to the underside of the drying section.

The press section has a basement 10. A machine foundation 11 of the dryer section protrudes over a machine house floor 12 that extends over the entire length of the machine. On the operating side, the surface of the machine foundation of the dryer section is continued by a walkway 13 which has a railing 14. On the other side, the surface of the machine foundation of the dry section is continued through a floor 15 up to a wall 16 of the machine house.

As can be seen from Fig. 2, the continuous machine house hallway 12 is delimited in the dryer section by a hallway edge 17 from the basement 9 from. At the side edge of the walkway floor 13 is a continuous handrail 18 and a continuous step 19 is provided on the side wall of the lower part located below this half.

An opening extending over the entire length of the dryer section is left free between the catwalk and the continuous machine house corridor, which opening is so large that the operating personnel can get through it from the machine house corridor into the basement of the drying section. The handrail 18 serves as an aid when going down and especially the step 19. Since the corridor edge 17 is not far from the side edge of the catwalk 13 in the horizontal direction, the staff can also pass under the handrail of the railing 14 through get from the machine floor to the catwalk.

It is therefore possible at any point along the dryer section to change location between the catwalk, the machine house corridor and the basement within a very short period of time. The operation of the drying section is therefore much easier than with the known designs. The opening mentioned has another advantage. They ensure that the basement is so well ventilated that the height of the basement can be kept smaller compared to the known designs.

In a paper machine designed according to the invention, the height of the part of the basement located below the continuous machine house corridor is also smaller. This is particularly advantageous where, due to rocky subsoil, groundwater or other circumstances, a deep basement would be too expensive or impossible.

In a manner similar to that shown for the dryer section, other sections of the paper machine, e.g. B. the press section, if this should be required Lich, are built with a basement and their Fun dament are formed protruding over the height of the machine house floor.
