Motion picture projector with gripper switch mechanism and device for forward and backward projection To create trick effects, it is known to set up a motion picture projector not only for forward projection, but also for backward projection, by transporting the film tape in the opposite direction through the picture window.
A switchover option from forward to reverse is also necessary if an illustrated book is occupied with two image rows in such a way that one image row is projected forward and the other image row is projected backward and the illustrated tape returns to the image after both rows have been completely processed original winding condition.
In the case of projectors that can be switched over and equipped with a gripper transport device, the disadvantage has been that when switching to reverse rotation, the image line was shifted, which had to be corrected by hand.
This image line shift is due to the fact that, as shown in Fig. 1, by the necessary game between the hook tip 1 and the perforation hole 2 of the film tape 3 when moving forward the Grei fer at the lower edge of the perforation and when moving backward at the upper edge of the Perforation is applied, so that there is a shift in the image line by the amount that must be compensated in a known manner by adjusting a device for correcting the image line.
According to the invention it is now proposed to couple the switching device for the forward and backward movement of the projector to a device for correcting the image line so that when switching from forward to backward movement or vice versa, the image line is automatically readjusted.
A particularly expedient embodiment of the invention is that a threaded spindle connected to the adjustment button for the usual manual image line adjustment is guided in an axially displaceable sleeve that is operationally connected to the switching device from forward to reverse. If only small mechanical forces are necessary for the switching process by z.
B. only a contact switch has to be operated, it is also possible to use the adjustment knob provided for the usual image line adjustment at the same time for switching from forward to reverse by the usual image line adjustment is made during a Ver rotation of said adjustment knob while its axial displacement switches from forward to reverse and at the same time causes automatic image line correction.
For reasons related to the arrangement, it can also be expedient to carry out the customary manual image line correction and the automatic image line correction that occurs when switching from forward to reverse using various correction devices. It can, for.
B. a Kor correction device on such projector parts as lens and picture window mask act, which are adjustable relative to the optical axis, while the other correction device causes a shift in the support axis of the gripper, around which the gripper performs its oscillating movements.
Embodiments of the invention are shown below with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3a and 3b. In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the lens mount 5 is mounted on a side wall 4 of a projector not shown in detail in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis 6 by being equipped with two slots 7a and 7b, which are attached to the side wall 4 Engage guide pins 8a and 8b.
On the lens carrier 5, the image field mask 9 is placed, which is moved together with the lens carrier during the image line adjustment in the direction of Doppelpfei les 10. In the projector front wall 11 there is mounted an operating button 12 which is firmly connected to a threaded bolt 13 which is guided in a thread provided in a sleeve 14. The sleeve 14 in the front wall 11 in the direction of the double arrow 15 is slidably supported and secured against axial rotation in a manner not shown.
The sleeve 14 is firmly connected to an arm 16. A coupling rod 17 connects the arm 16 with a switching arm 18. Depending on its position, the switching arm 18, which is movable between two stops 19 and 20, comes into contact either with a contact 21 (forward) or with a contact 22 (return). If the switching of the film transport device is not electrical, but rather mechanical, the mechanical switching elements are connected to the coupling rod 17 by analogy.
An angle lever 23, which is mounted on the projector side wall 4 so as to be rotatable about an axis 24, rests with its one leg on the lens mount 5 and with its other leg on the threaded spindle 13. A tension spring 25 attached at its ends to the lens carrier 5 and to the projector side wall 4 tries to always press the angle lever 23 onto the threaded spindle 13.
The mode of operation of the device is as follows: The usual correction of the image line is made by turning the control knob 12 at the start of the projection. Since the sleeve 14 is secured against rotation, the threaded spindle 13 migrates depending on the direction of rotation of the knob 12 in the direction of the double arrow 15 and causes a corre sponding adjustment of the lens carrier 5 via the angle lever 23 and the tension spring 25.
In order to switch the projector from forward to reverse, the switch lever 18 is pivoted in such a way that it comes into contact with contact 22. In this switching process, the sleeve 14 and with her the threaded spindle 13 is moved by the required amount of correction via the hitch be rod 17. The angle lever 23 follows the movement of the threaded spindle 13 by the force of the spring 25, at the same time the lens carrier is pulled down ge. The automatic correction of the image line is thus carried out.
If only small forces are required for switching from forward to reverse, you can solve the switching process by axially moving the adjusting knob 12 in the direction of arrow 26, so that in this case a separate actuation of the shift lever 18 can be omitted.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3a and 3b, the image line correction is effected by shifting the support axis 27 of a known heart gripper 28. The support axis 27, about which the gripper performs its oscillating movements, is mounted on a lever 30 which can pivot about the point 29. The latter is connected to the switching arm 32 by a coupling rod 31.
When switching from pre-run (Fig. 3a) to return (Fig. 3b), the support axis 27 is automatically shifted downwards, which results in a shift of the gripper tip upwards and a corresponding image line displacement.
For organizational reasons, it may be appropriate, for. B. for the usual image line correction an image line setting by shifting the optical axis according to the embodiment of FIG. 2 and for the automatic image line correction a device with adjustable gripper support axis ge according to the embodiment of Fig.3a and 3b to use or vice versa.
Likewise, of course, any other known possibility of setting the image line can be used in connection with the concept of the invention.
