Self-regulating reciprocating pump The subject of the invention is a self-regulating reciprocating pump, for example a fuel injection pump in an internal combustion engine or in a diesel engine.
A reciprocating pump is known, in particular for injecting fuel into an engine, which comprises a member for adjusting the flow rate of the pump which is moved, in the forward direction, by the pressure of a fluid delivered by the piston. of the pump during the period of discharge thereof, against a return force, and means for slowing the return of this member to its rest position, this return movement being caused by the aforementioned restoring force during the period between the end of a pump delivery period and the start of the subsequent delivery period, the magnitude of the restoring force and the braking force being such,
that when the number of back and forth movements accomplished in the unit of time by the aforesaid piston exceeds a certain limit, the adjustment member no longer reaches its rest position and that its stroke decreases as and when as the number of back and forth movements of said piston increases beyond said limit, this reduction in the stroke of this member resulting in a corresponding reduction in the flow rate of the pump.
The self-regulating reciprocating pump according to the invention, in which the self-regulation of the flow rate of the pump, as a function of the speed, is obtained by braking the return movement of at least one adjustment member constituted by an auxiliary piston, this braking being due to a constriction through which the auxiliary piston must deliver pressurized fluid during its return movement, is characterized by the fact that said constriction is produced by a movable element which is exposed, on the one hand , to the action of the pressurized fluid delivered by a positive displacement pump which is driven at a speed proportional to that of the driving speed of the pump and whose discharge pipe has a leak and,
on the other hand, to the action of a return spring.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, several embodiments of the pump which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows, schematically and in axial section, an injection pump constituting the first embodiment.
Fig. 2 shows the detail of a variant of this pump.
Fig. 3 schematically shows an injection pump in which the member which controls the throttle is actuated by a hydraulic regulator with automatically variable leakage.
Fig. 4 shows a similar pump, controlled by another hydraulic regulator.
Figs. 5 and 7 show various variations of a detail of the hydraulic regulator.
Figs. 8 and 9 show, schematically, in axial section, yet another embodiment of an injection pump, as well as a variant of an element of this pump.
Finally, Figs. 10 and 11 show, schematically and in axial section, a double injection pump, and a variant of an element of this pump.
Each of the pumps shown in the drawing is a self-regulating reciprocating pump intended to supply fuel to the injector or injectors of an internal combustion engine.
The pump comprises a main cylinder 1 in which works a main piston 2 driven from the shaft of the engine on which this pump is mounted, in order to ensure the injection of fuel into the cylinder or cylinders of this engine; for example, the driving of the piston 2 can be done by means of a cam not shown.
This piston 2 controls a light 3 through which the supply duct 4 opens into the cylinder 1 of the pump.
In addition, this pump comprises an adjustment member, in this case an auxiliary piston 5, also called shuttle, movable in an auxiliary cylinder 6 and dividing this cylinder into two chambers 6a and 6b.
When the piston 2 delivers, by means which will be discussed below, during its discharge stroke (upward stroke) of the fuel in the chamber 6a, the shuttle 5 moves upwards by compressing a return spring 7 arranged in the chamber 6b of the cylinder 6. The upward movement of the shuttle is stopped when this shuttle puts the chamber 6a in communication with an exhaust duct 8.
On the chamber 6b is connected the discharge pipe 9 provided with a non-return valve 10. In addition, the two chambers 6a and 6b are connected to each other by a channel 11 comprising at least one constriction in order to slow down the flow. , through this channel, the liquid which is transferred, by the shuttle 5, from the chamber 6a into the chamber 6b when the shuttle performs, under the effect of the return spring 7, its return movement (downward stroke), this return movement occurring in the period between the start of the downward movement of piston 2 (suction stroke)
and the start of its consecutive pushback stroke.
As regards the constriction in the channel 11 and intended to slow down the flow of fuel through this channel, it is obtained by a movable member entering said channel and movable at least for a certain range of speeds, as a function of the driving speed of the piston 2 of the pump or a similar speed, such as the speed of the motor shaft on which the pump is mounted, or even of a speed derived from the speed of said shaft.
Thus the channel 11 is crossed by a slide 12, capable of being moved axially against a restoring force produced, for example, by a spring 13, and comprising a groove 14 or pierced by a channel 14a (FIG. 2), this groove or this channel determining with the wall of the channel 11, a free passage, the section 14b of which is all the smaller as the slide 12 is moved further upwards.
To vary the initial section of the free passage 14b, against the spool 12 is applied an adjustable stop 15 by the return spring 13, the initial compression of which can be adjusted using a screw 16.
In fig. 1, the stop 15 is shown in its most rearward position for which the groove 14 completely opens the channel 11, so that, for this position, there is no restriction of the channel 11.
In order to vary the free section of the throttle of channel 11 as a function of engine speed, spool 12 is under the action of a pressurized liquid, such as oil, the pressure of which is variable with the speed and which moves the spool 12, against the return spring 13, which spool, by this movement, produces a reduction in the constricted section of the channel 11, said liquid being delivered by a positive-action positive displacement pump - tinue, for example by a gear pump 17,
which is driven by the engine which also drives the main piston 2 of the injection pump, the delivery pipe 18 of this gear pump 17 having an adjustable leakage by a throttle needle 19, supported by an adjusting screw 20, so that the discharge pressure of the gear pump 17 rises with its speed, this pressure rise being, as is known, faster than the rise in speed itself.
The pressure prevailing in the duct 18 is born under the lower end of the spool 12 by means of a duct 21.
As it has already been indicated above, the main piston 2 of the pump must deliver the fuel into the chamber 6a of the cylinder 6, thus causing the shuttle 5 to rise in its cylinder, but this same liquid must be transferred, by the downward movement of the shuttle, through channel 11, in chamber 6b. To ensure these movements of the liquid, a control or closure member 22, which closes the channel 11 during the upward movement of the main piston 2 and which opens it during the downward movement of the same piston, still controls the duct 23 which connects the interior of cylinder 1 to chamber 6a of auxiliary cylinder 6.
The control member 22 has the form of a drawer, the lower part of which, arranged as a bottom, is disposed in an enlargement 23a of the duct 23. A spring 24 seeks to maintain the drawer 22 in the lower position for which it rests on a stopper which can be constituted by a shoulder 23b at the lower end of the widening 23a of the duct 23. When the slide 22 rests on this shoulder, its groove 22a completely opens the channel 11.
In this same position, the drawer 22 closes the branch of the duct 23 which opens into the chamber 6a. Optionally, it is also possible to lay down, in this branch, a non-return valve 25. However, this valve is not essential in view of the control effect that the spool 22 has on the duct 23.
Said control member 22 can also serve as a throttling member of the channel 11. For this purpose, a stop 26 adjustable by means of a screw 27 makes it possible to raise the drawer 22 more or less above it. the aforementioned shoulder 23b, so that the groove 22a of the spool 22 opens the channel 11 partially only when the spool 22 is pressed, by the spring 24, against this adjustable stop 26. In the embodiment shown in FIG. . 1, the spool 22, arranged as a fixed but adjustable throttle member, is mounted in series with the throttle member 12, the effect of which depends on the speed.
However, the spool 22 could be arranged as an adjustable throttle member and constitute the throttle member of the channel 11.
The operation of the pump shown in fig. 1 is the following The main piston 2 of the pump, after having - during its upward stroke - closed the slot 3 of the supply duct 4, first causes the displacement of the spool 22 upwards, so that this spool closes the channel 11 and causes the two branches of the conduit 23 which are located upstream and downstream of said slide to communicate with each other.
Consequently, once this duct 23 has been opened, the piston 2, continuing its upward stroke, delivers fuel into the chamber 6a of the cylinder 6 and causes the auxiliary piston 5 to rise in this cylinder until the moment when that -Here discovers the exhaust pipe 8. The upward movement of the shuttle 5 simultaneously produces the discharge of the fuel in the chamber 6b, through the discharge pipe 9 of the pump, towards the injector or the one of the engine injectors on which the pump is mounted.
As soon as the piston 2 begins its downward stroke, the spool 22 re falls on the stop which determines its lower position, that is to say either on the shoulder 23b, or else on the stop 26, and the shuttle 5 , descending in the cylinder 6 under the effect of the return spring 7, transfers the fuel located in the chamber 6a, through the channel 11, into the chamber 6b of the cylinder 6.
If the spool 2 and / or the spool 12 are stopped by the stop 26, respectively the stop 15, in a position in which the groove 22a and / or the groove 14 produce a constriction in the channel 11, this transfer and, consequently , the movement of the shuttle 5 are slowed down by said throttling effect whatever the driving speed of the pump or that of the motor on which it is mounted.
But, even if the stops 26 and 15 are sufficiently removed to allow the complete opening of the channel 11 by the drawers 22 and 12 when these are in their lowest position, the channel 11 begins to be constricted by the spool 12 from a determined engine speed by dragging the pump 17, a speed which depends, on the one hand, on the prior compression of the spring 13 and, on the other hand, on the variable leakage by the needle 19, because from this speed the pressure in the duct 18 becomes sufficient to move the spool 12 upwards and thus to cause the constriction of the channel 11 while at the same time compressing the spring 13.
The more the engine speed increases, the smaller the section of the throttle caused by the spool 12 becomes and can reach zero, which corresponds to the cessation of all transfer of fuel from chamber 6a to chamber 6b. and, consequently, the cessation of any delivery of fuel to the injector or injectors of the engine.
However, before we come to the complete stop of any delivery, we obtain, as a result of the braking exerted by the constriction or the constrictions of the channel 11, the appearance of the phenomenon called liquid stop which reduces the quantity of fuel. transferred from chamber 6a to chamber 6b and, consequently, the quantity injected per pump stroke.
Since the throttled section of channel 11 is not constant but decreases from a certain rate, two factors work together to produce a rapid rise in the liquid stopper, and therefore a rapid reduction in the liquid transferred. in the chamber 6b as soon as the speed of the motor becomes sufficient to move the spool 12 in the direction of an increase in throttling. These two factors are, on the one hand, the acceleration of the speed of the main piston 2 due to the increase in engine speed, and, on the other hand, the slowing down of the downward movement of the shuttle 5 due to increased braking as a result of the increased throttling of channel 11.
In this way, a very fine adjustment is obtained and the certainty that the motor never exceeds a predetermined ceiling speed.
According to the variant of the pump shown in FIG. 2 in order to be able to adapt, to each particular case, the law according to which the cross section of the throttle produced by the displacement of the slide 12 is variable, the channel 11 is constricted, not by a slide provided with a groove , but by a drawer in which is formed the transverse channel 14a (Fig. 2), passing through the drawer 12, in order to thus obtain conjugated lights which, by their mutual overlap, open or close more or less.
According to fig. 2 the two channels have triangular sections. For the position of these channels indicated by fig. 2, the free section 14b of the glement screen has the shape of a diamond. Of course, the sections and slots of the channel 11 and of the transverse channel of the drawer 12 could have any other suitable shape, for example the shape of a semicircle, the shape of a rectangle, etc.
In the pump shown in fig. 1, the hydraulic regulator which controls the spool 12 com carries a fixed although adjustable leak. Often, however, it is advantageous to vary this leak automatically as a function of a factor on which the quantity of fuel delivered by the pump depends, this factor possibly also being the speed of the engine on which the pump is mounted, that is, that is to say the speed which also determines the speed of the pump 17 forming part of the hydraulic regulator.
Thus, according to FIG. 3 the slide 124, interposed in the section 21a of the duct 21, is moved by the same pressure which prevails in the delivery duct 18 of the pump 17. For this purpose, the duct 18 is connected by a duct 130, to the cylinder in which the spool 124 moves. To establish and vary the leakage in the section 21a, the spool 124 is provided with a groove <I> 124a. </I>
The drawer 124 is held, by a return spring <B> 125, </B> in its rest position determined by its application against a stop 127.
According to fig. 3 the spool 124 and its groove are arranged such that the increase in speed leads to an enlargement of the leak controlled by said spool.
Indeed, according to this figure, the groove 124a is arranged such that the leak has a minimum section when the spool is in its rest position, that is to say when the spring 125 applies the spool 124 against the stopper. fixed 127, while the section of the leakage due to the groove <I> 124a </I> increases all the more as the pressure in the delivery duct 18 causes the spool 124 to take off more from the stop 127. A stop 143 limits the upward movement of the spool 124 to prevent the leak on the section <I> 21a </I> from closing when the groove <I> 124a </I> has reached the position of the maximum opening of the leak .
It should also be noted that, in the pump shown in FIG. 3, the cylinder 1 communicates directly with the chamber 6a of the auxiliary cylinder 6 through a duct 132 provided with a non-return valve 133.
In the pump shown in fig. 3, a fine adjustment is obtained which, around all the speed values, or at least for a large area of different speeds, remains at least approximately constant, it being understood that by fineness is understood the inverse of ratio between, on the one hand, the momentary speed expressed in number of revolutions, and, on the other hand, the variation that this speed undergoes, variation also expressed in number of revolutions, so that the desired adjustment effect is obtained .
Another solution to obtain that the constriction 124a tightens with speed while ensuring the spool 124 stable positions, is shown in fig. 4 which makes it possible to obtain absolutely any predetermined law of the variation in the pressure acting on the spool 124 which controls the leakage provided on the delivery pipe 18 of the pump 17.
According to this solution, the spool 124 is pushed not by the pressure in the delivery pipe 18, but by the pressure in the delivery pipe 144 of a second volumetric continuous flow pump 145 which is independent of the pump 17 and which is driven with a speed equal or proportional to that of the pump 17. Therefore, when the spool 124 moves due to an increase in the pressure in the discharge duct 144, it increases the pressure in the discharge duct 144. the delivery duct 18 and in the branch 21 but not the pressure which acts on itself.
The device according to FIG. 4 makes it possible to control the pressure in the discharge duct 144 also by a slide 146 controlling a leak in the section <I> 144a </I> of the duct 144 and movable as a function of any factor which may be the speed or atmospheric pressure, temperature, etc.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the spool 146 is movable, against a return spring 147, by the pressure of a fluid discharged into the delivery duct 148, using a pump 149 with continuous flow, the pressure in the duct 148 being obtained by a leakage 150 adjustable by a needle screw 151. The calibration of the spring 147 can be adjusted using a screw 152.
The pump 149, with its delivery pipe 148 and its leak 150, could, in this case, be replaced by a reservoir filled with a fluid acting on the spool 146, and the volume of which varies as a function of a parameter. to be introduced into the regulations. This reservoir may be constituted by a cap which may be, for example, a barometric capsule intended to introduce an altitude correction or a correction according to the depression prevailing in the manifold of the engine on which the injection pump is mounted and its regulator. In this case, use is advantageously made of conjugate sections similar to those shown in FIGS. 5, 6 and 8, these figures showing a variant of the drawer 124 of FIG. 4.
In another embodiment, the groove <I> 124a </I> is arranged such on the drawer 124 that the drawer, as soon as it begins to rise against the pressure of the spring 125, reduce the free section of the leak all the more as the discharge pressure of pump 17 increases, which produces an increase in fineness with speed. In this embodiment, there is a certain danger of over-adjustment, since the increase in the pressure in the duct 18 causes a decrease in the leakage, which causes a further increase in the pressure in the duct 18. , etc.
It may then happen that the correction of the pump flow rate takes place in a shorter time than the change in engine speed and that, consequently, the spools 124 and 12 take a periodic movement. This phenomenon can be avoided using means, not shown, for slowing down the movements of the drawers 124 and / or 12, these means possibly being constituted by a constricted section in the duct <B> 130 </B> and / or in the conduit 21, these constricted sections can be identical or different.
Another means not shown consists in adding to said drawers dampers in the form of dash-pots. All these means have the effect of attenuating the transmission of sudden pressure variations on the respective drawers. According to this variant (fig. 5, 6 or 7) the drawer 124 comprises instead of the groove 124a a passage <I> 124b </I> of triangular, rectangular, semi-circular or other shape, the section of this passage determining the section of the section 21a.
Another embodiment is shown in FIG. 8. In this figure, the reference indices already used to designate certain parts of the pump shown in FIG. 1 denote the same parts of the pump shown in FIG. 8.
One of the peculiarities of the latter pump is that, to protect the adjustable throttle provided in the conduit 11 and designated in the fi-. 8 on the other hand against the high pressures which prevail in the chambers 6a and 6b during the delivery stroke of the piston 2 of the pump, obturation means are provided, not only in the branch (or the section) of the channel 11 which leads from the chamber 6a to the constriction e, but also in the branch (or the section) which leads from the chamber 6b to the constriction e, these means being controlled according to the movements of the main piston 2 in such a way that, during the delivery stroke of the latter piston,
the two aforementioned branches born of the channel 11 are closed and only open during the suction stroke of said piston. Preferably, there is provided for the simultaneous closing of the two branches of the channel 11, a single member advantageously constituted by a drawer 30 having two grooves 30a and 30b which can be replaced, if necessary, by holes passing through said drawer, these grooves or holes being arranged at such a level on the drawer 30 that they open the two branches of the duct 11 when the drawer 30 is in its lower position determined, for example, by the application of a stop 31, integral with the drawer 30, against a wall 32 under the effect of a return spring 33.
Advantageously, the same slide 30 controls a conduit 23 in which is interposed a non-return valve 25 and which connects the cylinder 1 of the pump to the chamber 6a. The valve 25 is also not compulsory.
If the drawer 30 is moved upwards, so that another stop 34, integral with the drawer 30, is applied against a fixed stop 35, the drawer closes the two branches of the channel 11 and opens the communication between the cylinder 1 and conduit 23. This last movement takes place from the start of the delivery stroke of piston 2 and can be caused by the liquid delivered by said piston 2, this liquid acting on the <B> 30th </B> face. of the drawer 30. The return movement of the drawer 30 in the position shown in FIG. 8 is obtained from the start of the downward stroke of piston 2 under the action of spring 33.
As regards the variable-section constriction e, it is formed between a fixed element and a mobile element. One of these elements, preferably the mobile element, has a conical surface with a rectilinear or curvilinear generatrix (convex or con cave) at the point where the latter element cooperates with the other element to form the constriction.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 8, the conical surface 36 is on a drawer 37 where this surface constitutes part of the bottom of a groove 38 machined on said drawer. The other part of the bottom designated by 39 may be formed by a cylinder whose diameter is equal to the smallest diameter of the conical surface 36 in order to allow the liquid which has passed through the constriction e to enter, through an opening f, into the branch of duct 11 which leads to chamber 6b of cylinder 6.
The slide 37 is movable inside a cylinder 41 in the wall of which the opening f is located and which is made in the body of the pump, this cylinder comprising, at the height of the groove 38 of the pump. drawer 37, a toroidal chamber 42 forming an upper edge 42a, this upper edge constituting the other element which, in cooperation with the conical surface 36, determines the constriction in question.
The branch of channel 11 which communicates with chamber 6a d <B> é- </B> mouth in this toric chamber 42.
It will be understood that the free section of the constriction e depends on the axial position of the spool 37 relative to the fixed edge 42a. By giving the generator of the conical surface 36 a rectilinear shape or a curvilinear shape (convex or concave), one can achieve very diverse laws for the variation of the free section of the constriction e as a function of the variation of the axial position of the spool 37.
Moreover, by arranging the constriction as has just been said, there is only one constricted section of annular shape between the two branches of the channel 11 which open respectively upstream and downstream of the constriction, this which facilitates the achievement of a completely precise and predetermined throttling effect.
Another embodiment of the drawer 37 not comprising a conical surface but also producing a single constricted section is shown in FIG. 9. According to this figure, the two branches of the channel 11 which open into the cylinder 41 are vented in their mutual alignment and the spool 37 is crossed by a transverse channel 43 which, when the spool 37 is moved upwards, produces a restriction as a result of the offset of its input lumen <I> a </I> with respect to the lumen <I> b </I> with which the branch of the channel 11 which communicates with the chamber 6a opens into the cylinder 41,
these two lights acting as conjugate lights which can have any suitable shape (circular, triangular, oval, etc.). On the other hand, at the end of the channel 43 which is opposite to its inlet lumen a, the channel is widened downwards by a groove 44 so that, despite the displacement of the spool 37 upwards, no constriction occurs. produced between this drawer and the slot c through which the other branch of the channel 11 opens into the cylinder 41.
In order to at least approximately balance the transverse pressure which, at the location of the ports a and b when the latter partially overlap, acts on the spool 37 and seeks to press it against the opposite wall of the cylinder 41, the pressure which reign upstream of the constriction produced by the covering of the lights <I> a </I> and <I> b </I> is brought to act on the side of the drawer 37 which is opposite to the side where the 'strangulation. Thus it is practi c in the drawer, on the side opposite to the slots a and b, a recess 45 which communicates by a groove 46 and a groove 47, with the inside of the branch of the channel 11 which is located immediately upstream of the throttle.
The hydraulic pressure which is to act in the lower end of cylinder 41 on the base of spool 37 is produced, as in the other embodiments described above, by a gear pump 17 which is driven by the gear pump. engine on which the injection pump is mounted. The discharge pipe 18 opens, by a branch 21, in the lower end of the cylinder 41 and is connected, by another branch 48 of leakage, to the pipe which leads the liquid delivered by the pump 18 to the tank see R where the pump sucks in the liquid. Advantageously, the section of the leakage varies as a function of said speed such that the free section of the leak increases when the speed of the engine increases.
To this end, one of the elements which delimit the leakage section in the duct 48 is constituted by a slide 49 which is actuated in such a way by the pressure which prevails in the duct 18 that it enlarges the leakage section when said pressure rises. It should also be noted that the slide 49 is ground licit by a spring 50 in a direction opposite to that in which it is urged by the pressure in the duct 18.
As regards the elastic means which exert a return force on the spool 37, they advantageously comprise two springs: a main spring 51 and a secondary spring 52 (see fig. 8).
When the motor is stopped, the action of the res out 51 on the spool 37 is stopped by the application of the spring holder 53 against a shoulder 53a and the spring 52 which is weak pushes the spool 37 downwards to 'so that it is applied against a stop 54. In this position, the spool closes the channel 11. As soon as the engine is started, the initially low pressure in the duct 18 is sufficient to bring the spool into the position shown in fig. 8, position in which the spring 52 is compressed and the upper end of the spool 37 is applied against the spring carrier 53 which, at the time considered, still remains applied against the shoulder 53a.
In this position, the constriction e has its maximum free section.
If the pressure in the duct 18, as a result of the acceleration of the motor, rises to a value liable to compress the spring 51 more or less, the spool rises higher and thus reduces the free section of the constriction e, which promotes the appearance of the liquid stop in the chamber 6a of the cylinder 6.
When the engine reaches its maximum speed that it must not exceed in any way, the spool 37 completely closes the throttle, which causes the stopping of fuel injections into the engine cylinder. The compression of the spring 51 can be modified using, for example, an adjusting screw 55, which makes it possible to limit to all the desired values the ceiling speed which the motor cannot exceed due to the automatic reduction of the speed. fuel flow rate that it receives. The regulation fineness can be easily adjusted by adjusting the force of the spring 50 which acts on the spool 49. It is therefore possible to obtain an all-speed regulation with constant or variable fineness.
The stopping of the engine is obtained by an action on the adjustment screw 55 such that the load of the spring is canceled. Another means consists in making the stop 54 movable towards the interior of the cylinder 41. The movement of this stop 54 upwards, for example by means of a linkage which is connected to this stop by a lever 56, can cause the throttle to close and thus stop the injection. The use of the movable stop 54 to cause the stop does not run the risk of disturbing the spring 51, which would be the case if the stop was caused by the discharge of this spring.
In some cases, especially when the number of cylinders is large or when the engine speed is high, it is difficult to obtain the necessary number of injections using a single main piston 2 which works in a single cylinder 1. This difficulty can be eliminated by the use of two or more unit pumps (cylinder 1, piston 2, shuttle 5, etc.) which work with a certain offset and which in turn provide injections into the cylinder. the engine cylinders. The pistons of these various unit pumps can be actuated by one or more cams.
In this case and to provide the various unit pumps with strictly equal flow rates, advantageously one and the same member can vary the throttle interposed in each of the channels through which the liquid must pass during the return stroke of the shuttle which belongs to each unit pump.
Such a multiple pump composed of two unit pumps is shown in FIG. 10. In this figure, the same reference indices used in FIGS. 8 and 9 the members which correspond to those shown in these figures. However, the corresponding members of the two unit pumps making up the multiple pump shown in FIG. 10 are differentiated by the respective indices 1 and 2. These two unit pumps are driven with an offset of 180. In fig. 10, the arrows x and y respectively show that the piston 11 is on its suction stroke and that the piston 1. is on its delivery stroke.
As it follows from fig. 10, the free section of the constriction in the channels 111 and 11., of the two unit pumps is modified by a single and same spool 37, the positions of which are controlled by a hydraulic regulator 17 and 49 identical to that shown in FIG. 8. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 10, the drawer 37 comprises a partition 57 dividing the single groove 38 of this drawer in two and separating the circuits constituted respectively by the channels <B> 11, </B> and 11 ,.
The operation of the pump shown in fig. 10 follows clearly from the above, so that it seems unnecessary to enter into a more detailed explanation on this subject.
Fig. 11 shows a variant of this drawer. According to this variant, the latter comprises two superposed grooves 381 and 38, one of which controls the throttling of channel <B> 111 </B> and the other that of channel 11.
Another variant is that where the upward movement or the forward movement of the shuttle 5 is not obtained hydraulically by the liquid re-trodden by the main piston of the pump but by other means, for example mechanical means.
