Description
Fig. 1 eine Langloch-Gelenkverbindung zwischen zwei Kettengliedern und
Fig. 2 Kettenglieder der endlosen Förderkette in der Umlenkungsbahn.
Endless conveyor chain with boxes or platforms running through the floors of a garage
The subject of the invention is an endless conveyor chain running through floors of a garage, guided in guideways, with boxes or platforms, for the transport of automobiles, which are suspended pendulously at articulation points of this conveyor chain.
It is known to connect the boxes or platforms to one another with only one chain link of the chain so that these chain links can transmit tensile and compressive forces from one suspension point of the boxes to the next. The suspension points of the boxes are guided in guideways.
The considerably long chain links from one suspension point of the boxes to the other have the disadvantage that it is difficult to get around the diversion tracks from floor to floor. The result is the so-called polygonal effect, which consists in the fact that the curved deflection path at the transition from floor to floor in the arch is longer than the much shorter chords of the relatively long chain links of the endless conveyor chain.
If, in addition, the guideway for the hinge points of the conveyor chain, at each hinge point of which a box or a platform is suspended, is returned to the floor level by a relatively large deflection curve, this means that the links of the endless conveyor chain absorb considerable tensile and compressive forces through the Strains and compressions due to the difference in the length ratio between tendons and arches when deflected
In order to avoid these disadvantages, the invention provides that the chain links of the conveyor chain have elongated holes at their hinge points through which bolts are inserted.
Expediently, resilient means, eg. B. made of rubber or plastic, be interposed.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a slot joint connection between two chain links and
Fig. 2 chain links of the endless conveyor chain in the deflection path.
1 and 2 show the elongated-hole articulated connection of the chain links 1 and 2 of the conveyor chain provided with pendularly suspended containers or platforms for the transport of cars under the pressure of the conveyor chain. The bolts 3 and 4 are mutatis mutandis on the opposite side of the elongated holes. The guide track 5 for the chain link joints for guiding the chain for passage through the floors of a garage is designed in an arc shape in FIG. It is clear that the chain links 1 and 2 as tendons have a significantly shorter length than the corresponding arches of the guide track 5. Therefore, the chain links of the endless conveyor chain are exposed to large tensile and compressive forces, which are avoided or avoided by the elongated holes in the articulation points of the chain links at least be mitigated.
The guideway 5 is equipped with a transition arc from the straight line to the circular arc, which in turn has a mitigating effect on the occurrence of undesired strains and upsets in the chain.
Between the bolts 3, 4 and the links 1, 2 resilient means, for. B. made of rubber or plastic, where the joint connections work quietly and their wear is reduced.
