Set of building elements The present invention relates to a set of building elements for walls, floors, etc.
This set of construction elements is characterized in that it comprises prefabricated panels each having at least one edge provided with at least one bevel intended to come into contact with a corresponding bevel formed along an edge of a adjacent panel.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, three embodiments of the set of construction elements forming the subject of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a partial elevational view of the first embodiment of the set of elements. Figs. 2 to 4 are sectional views and on a larger scale, of variant details.
Fig. 5 is a section of a detail on a still larger scale.
Fig. 6 is a partial view, in section, of the second embodiment.
Fig. 7 is a perspective view of a detail. Fig. 8 is a view similar to FIG. 1 of the third embodiment.
Fig. 9 is a section on a larger scale of a detail of FIG. 8.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the set of construction elements is used to build a single-storey house of which there is shown schematically in section two vertical walls formed of prefabricated panels 1 and 2 (for example 2 X 3 m), a floor and a ceiling formed respectively of pre-fabricated panels 3 and 4 (for example, 2 X 2 m respec tively 2 X 4 m).
Each quadrangular shaped panel has two parallel edges each provided with two bevels at 45o and symmetrical with respect to the median plane of the panel. The other two parallel edges of the panels are assumed to be smooth. The four bevels of a panel have been designated by the reference number of this panel provided with an index.
For example, the panel 1 comprises the four bevels 1 '1 ", 1"' and 11v symmetrical two by two with respect to the median plane a of the panel. One could also provide a construction in which the vertical panels would have only one bevelled edge, the opposite edge not being bevelled.
The panels 1, 2 and 3 rest on basic elements 5, 6 and 7 anchored in the ground. The elements 5 and 7 have on their upper part surfaces inclined at 450 extending all along the construction. The panel 1 is therefore retained laterally by its lower edge, the bevels 1 ′ and 1 ″ of which come into contact along the corresponding inclined surfaces of the base element 5.
The adjacent floor panel 3 rests on the one hand, by its bevel 3 'on a corresponding bevel of the base element 5, and on the other hand, by its bevel 31v on a corresponding bevel of the base element 6 .
The ceiling or roof panel 4 rests, on the one hand, by its bevel 41v on the bevel 11v of the vertical panel 1 and, on the other hand, by its bevel 4 "on the bevel 2" of the vertical panel 2. irons (not shown) embedded in the upper part of the panel 1, for example, protrude from the bevel 11v and are sealed in suitable housings made in the bevel 41v of the panel 4 so as to keep the two panels integral.
As shown in fig. 2a, there is placed between the edges of the panels 1 and 4 intended to come into contact, an X-shaped iron o, one of the branches of which constitutes a gutter W for the flow of rainwater when the panel 4 is a roofing element, t designating, for example, an insulating covering of the ceiling. The prefabricated panels are made of reinforced concrete or not, they could also be made of another suitable material, in particular plastic.
The V-voids generally formed between the ends of the assembled panels are filled with concrete to hold the panels together. These voids are also used to receive electrical pipes or water supply.
Fig. 3 shows a variant of a floor panel 8 whose two parallel edges each have a single bevel 8 'respectively 8 "extending over the entire thickness of the panel. The bevel 8' rests against a corresponding bevel d 'a base element 9 similar to the base element 5.
Fig. 4 shows a variant of a base element 10, the upper part of which has a single surface inclined at 45 () designated by 11 and against which the bevels 1 'and 3' of the respective panels 1 and 3 are applied. horizontal 12 is further provided on the base member 10 to support the end of the panel 3. In this variant, the panels 1 and 3 are pressed against each other along their bevels 1 "and 3". .
Fig. 5 shows the detail of an assembly of four panels at right angles 13, 14, 15 and 16. The joint between the bevels of these panels is sealed by means of a profiled iron 17 in X, the ends of the branches of which are folded back. against the respective faces of the panels. As shown, the profile 17 is formed of four angles assembled using rivets.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the element set is used to construct a multi-storey building. Only part of an outer wall and two floors have been shown schematically. The panels 18 forming the vertical wall have on one edge two bevels 18 'and 18 "at 45o similar to those of the panels of the embodiment of Figs. 1 and 2, and on the upper parallel edge a single bevel 19 s 'extending over the entire thickness of the panel The panels 20 of the expensive planes each rest by its bevel 20' to 450 on a part of the bevel 19 of the panel 18 and are retained by an anchor iron 21.
The bevel 20 "of the panel 20 forms with the remaining part of the bevel 19 a wall groove inclined at 45 ° for receiving the double bevel end of a panel 18 of the upper stage.
In general, the prefabricated panels such as those described so far have notches 22 formed in the bevelled edges as shown in FIG. 7, and in which notches protrude hooking means constituted by a round iron 23 anchored in the panel. This iron could extend all the way along the beveled edge. An S-shaped connecting member 24 serves to connect the bars 23 of two adjacent panels and thus to maintain these assembled panels with the corresponding bevels in contact, the notches 22 then being filled with concrete. The irons are also used for handling panels which can be hung on the cables of a lifting device.
In the third embodiment shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the floor panels 3 are similar to those of the first embodiment. On the other hand, the vertical panels 25 each have a lower edge with two symmetrical bevels at 45 ,, and an upper edge with two symmetrical bevels at 1200. The roof panels 26 have on two of their edges symmetrical bevels at 120c, intended for come to rest against the bevels of the vertical panels 25 as shown in detail in FIG. 9. The section of this fig. 9 is made to the right of notches 27 similar to the notches 22 of FIG. 7.
Irons 28 integral with the respective panels serve as irons 23, on the one hand, to suspend the panels from a lifting device during their installation and, on the other hand, to fix the panels 25, 26 and 27 with the aid of hooks 29. A non-load bearing partition 30 is formed of two vertical panels spaced apart from one another to enable the electricity or water pipes to be accommodated. The panels of this partition each have a 45o beveled bottom edge and a 120o beveled top edge.
Although fig. 8 relates to a single-storey construction, one could also achieve a multi-storey construction, the panels of the first floors then being similar to the panels of FIG. 1, only the panels of the top floor comprising bevels at 45 and 120 like those of the panels 25 shown in FIG. 8, to support the roof.
The construction shown in FIG. 8 plan view can be of any polygonal shape, for example hexagonal, in which case several units or cells can be arranged in a honeycomb with for each cell triangular shaped roof elements. It is in such a construction with one or more floors that there are vertical panels arranged 120 from each other and of which a horizontal cross section is similar to that of FIG. 9.
In the embodiments described, the junctions of the construction elements are all shown in vertical section. It is understood that the horizontal sections of the junctions of two, three or four vertical panels would be identical to the sections shown in FIGS. 1 to 6. In this case the vertical panels thus assembled have four bevelled edges.
On the other hand, the thickness of the panels can be variable. As shown in fig. 2a, for example, where the vertical panel 1 is thicker than the horizontal panel 4.
The advantage of the described construction element set is that thanks to the bevelled edges the elements can be easily and quickly put in place, hardly requiring any adjustment as they automatically come into the correct position.
