Description

Plate-shaped component The subject matter of the present invention is a plate-shaped, translucent structural element with two cover plates made of translucent material and arranged parallel to one another and at a distance from one another.

It has already been proposed, between the cover plates of the component, a honeycomb grid z. B. to use metal, the walls standing perpendicular to the cover plates with their front edges abut against the cover plates. In order to prevent direct incidence of light in our latitudes as well, the webs running in east-west direction must be relatively close to one another; The angle of sunshine in June is known to be 68 at 45 latitude.

However, such an arrangement not only results in a relatively strongly subdued incidence of light, but also requires an undesirably large number of webs, which is a disadvantage in terms of production technology, price and aesthetics.

In contrast, the plate-shaped, translucent component according to the present invention has two arranged between the cover plates, at right angles penetrating sets of spaced parallel web plates, the web plates of one set are perpendicular and the web plates of the other set at an angle to the cover plates.

If the component is arranged with its inclined web plates running in an east-west direction so that its south side is directed upwards, assuming a sun angle of 68 while avoiding direct incidence of light while the height of the component remains the same, a larger spacing of the web plate can be selected the stronger these multi-skin sheets are inclined to the vertical.

In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the component according to the invention is shown; It shows: FIG. 1 diagrammatically and partially broken away part of the component, and FIG. 2, on a larger scale, a vertical section through the component transversely to the inclined web plates.

In a rectangular or square frame 1 are flush with the top and bottom of two perpendicular penetrating sets of spaced parallel web plates 2 and 3 inserted. The web plates 2 are perpendicular in the frame 1, while the web plates 3 are arranged at an angle. The frame 1 is covered at the top and bottom by a cover plate 4, which plates 4 run parallel to one another. The multi-wall sheets 2 are perpendicular, the multi-wall sheets 3 at an angle to the cover panels 4.

The smooth surface parts 1, 2 and 3 are made of opaque Mate rial, while the plates 4 are made of translucent material. The cover plates 4 can be made of plastic, for. B. Plexiglas (registered trademark), polyester or the like or made of glass, while the web plates 2, 3 are conveniently made of light metal or a suitable plastic be; they can also consist of concrete or artificial stone.

The web plates 2, 3 are continuous, the web plates 2 from the lower edge to the center inclined incisions and the web plates 3 from the upper edge to the middle ver perpendicular incisions; as FIG. 2 clearly shows, the plates 2, 3 are inserted into one another with the aid of these incisions.

The component described is particularly suitable as a roof panel. If the plate is arranged in such a way that its multi-wall sheets 3 run in an east-west direction and the top of the panels 3 face south, direct incidence of light is impossible if the connecting line a of the lower edge of the upper side of a multi-wall sheet 3 to the upper edge the underside of the adjacent web plate 3 forms an angle a (Fig. 2) with the horizontal one,

which is at least equal to the largest possible angle of sunlight at the relevant location. The greater the inclination of the multi-wall sheets 3 is selected with the same height of the component and the same angle a, the greater the permissible distance between the multi-wall sheets, but the smaller the incidence angle range fl (Fig. 2) within which the Incident light L downwards, ie is reflected in the space to be illuminated.

In order to obtain the most favorable incidence of light over all seasons, the inclined position of the multi-wall sheets 3 will be selected for a given angle a so that the angle ss approximately equal to the difference between the maximum (June 21st) and the minimum (December 21st) Angle of incidence is. At 45 north latitude, where the maximum angle of sunlight (June 21) is 68 and the minimum angle of sunlight (June 21).

Dec.) is 22, this would be at an angle of inclination of the multi-wall sheets 3 to the vertical of approximately 22 it is enough, that is, the perpendicular to the plate through the upper edge of the underside of the adjacent plate includes an angle with the horizontal that is approximately equal to the local one minimum angle of incidence of the sun. In practice, an angle of inclination of the web plates 3 to the vertical between 22 and 35 will be useful.
