Description
Zur Umsetzung geeignete Amine der Formel II sind z. B. das ss-Methoxy-äthylamin, ss-Äthoxy-äthylamin, ss-Propoxy-äthylamin, ss-n-Butoxy-äthylamin, ;
#-Methoxy-propylamin, y-Äthoxy-propylamin, y-Isopropoxy-propylamin, y-n-Butoxy-propylamin, y-Methoxy-butylamin, N-Methyl ss-methoxy-äthylamin, N-Äthyl ss-methoxy-äthylamin, N-Methyl-y-methoxy-propylamin oder N-Äthyl-y-methoxy-propylamin.
Analog können z. B. hergestellt werden: 2-Chlor-4-äthylamino-6-(f-methoxy-äthyl- amino)-s-triazin, Smp. 166-167 ; 2-Chlor-4-isopropylamino-6-(/3-methoxy-äthyl- amino)-s-triazin, Smp. 94-96'; 2-Chlor-4-äthylamino-6-(@-äthoxy-äthyl- amino)-s-triazin, Smp. 156-158 ;

Example 46 parts of cyanuric chloride are dissolved in 300 parts of chlorobenzene. Now, at -15 to -5, first 11 parts of ethylamine in 22 parts of water, and then 10 parts of sodium hydroxide, dissolved in 40 parts of water, are added dropwise. The mixture is stirred until the reaction mixture is neutral, any traces of precipitated 2-chloro-4,6-bis-ethylamino-s-triazine are separated off and 23 parts of methoxypropylamine in 46 parts of water are added at room temperature.
and then with 10 parts of sodium hydroxide in 40 parts of water. The mixture is stirred at 40-50 until the reaction mixture reacts neutral. The chlorobenzene is eliminated by steam distillation, whereupon the sparingly soluble 2-chloro-4-ethylamino-6-y-methoxy-propylamino-s-triazine can be suction filtered and recrystallized. M.p .: 157-158 0 .
The two primary amines can also be added in the reverse order.
The above-mentioned auxiliary solvent chlorobenzene can be replaced by similar ones to benzene and toluene. However, it is also possible to prepare a finely-grained aqueous suspension of cyanuric chloride directly without such an auxiliary solvent.
If 8 parts of methylamine, 14 parts of isopropylamine or 17 parts of diethylamine are used instead of ethylamine, 2-chloro-4-methylamino-6- (r-methoxy-propyl-amino) -s-triazine, 2- Chlor-4-isopropylamino-6 - ("- methoxy-propyl-amino) -s-triazine, m.p .: 112-114 or the 2-chloro-4-diethylamino-6 - (" - methoxy-propyl-amino) -s-triazine.

The compounds of formula 1 obtained according to the invention are eminently suitable as active ingredients for weed control agents, both for the selective suppression and eradication of weeds among crops, as well as for total killing and preventing unwanted plants from growing.
Weeds are also unwanted, z. B. previously grown crops understood. The compounds defined above are also suitable as active ingredients for exerting other inhibitory effects on plant growth, in particular defoliation, e.g. B. of cotton plants, acceleration of ripening due to premature drying, z. B. of potato plants, also reduction of fruit set, Ver prolongation of the harvest period and shelf life.
The new active ingredients can be used in the form of solutions, emulsions, suspensions or dusts; the application forms depend entirely on the intended use. All the application forms have to guarantee that the active substance can be distributed fine. In particular, in the total killing of vegetation, in the premature drying out and defoliation, the effect can be due to the use of phytotoxic carriers such.
B. high-boiling mineral oil fractions are reinforced; on the other hand, there is the selectivity of growth inhibition when using carriers that are indifferent to plants, e.g. B. in selective weed control, in general NEN more clearly to advantage.
For the preparation of solutions of compounds of formula 1 come as solvents z. B. higher-boiling organic liquids, such as mineral oil fractions, coal tar oils and also vegetable and animal oils into consideration. To facilitate the dissolution of the active ingredients in these liquids, small amounts of organic liquids with better solubility and usually lower boiling point, that is, solvents such as alcohols, eg. B. ethanol or isopropanol, ketones, e.g. B.
Acetone, butanone or cyclohexanone, cyclic hydrocarbons, e.g. B. benzene, toluene or xylene, chlorinated hydrocarbons, e.g. B. tetrachloroethane or ethylene chloride, or mixtures of the above substances are added.
The aqueous work-up forms of compounds obtained according to the invention are above all emulsions and dispersions. These can be used as such or with the addition of z. B. one of the above solvents are preferably homogenized in water by means of wetting agents or dispersants.
Examples of cation-active emulsifiers or dispersants that come into consideration here are quaternary ammonium compounds and of anion-active emulsifiers, for example. B.
Soap, soft soap, aliphatic long-chain sulfuric acid monoesters, aliphatic-aromatic sulfonic acids,
long-chain alkoxyacetic acids and, of non-ionic emulsifiers, polyethylene glycol ethers of fatty alcohols or alkylphenols and polycondensation products of ethylene oxide. On the other hand, concentrates consisting of active ingredient, emulsifier or dispersant and optionally solvent can also be prepared which are suitable for dilution with water.
Compounds of formula I containing dusts medium can, for. B. be produced by mixing or jointly grinding the active substance with a solid carrier. Examples of these are: talc, diatomaceous earth, kaolin, bentonite, calcium carbonate, boric acid, tricalcium phosphate, but also wood flour, cork flour, coal and other materials of vegetable origin. On the other hand, the substances can also be absorbed onto the carrier materials by means of a volatile solvent.
By adding wetting agents and protective colloids, powdered preparations and pastes can be suspended in water and made usable as sprays.
The various application forms can be used in the usual way by adding substances which improve the distribution, the adhesive strength, the rain resistance and / or the penetration capacity, such as. B. of fatty acids, resins, wetting agents, glue, casein or alginates, can be adapted to the intended use. The biological effect can also be achieved by adding substances with bactericidal or fungicidal properties, e.g.
B. to achieve a general soil sterilization or in the selective weed control to protect the cultivated plants from other harmful organisms. Substances that also influence plant growth can optionally be added to broaden the herbicidal spectrum of activity, while the combination with fertilizers can save labor and increase the resistance of the crop plants to be treated.
Examples of typical forms of use of the new active ingredients are given below. 1. 20 parts of a compound of the formula I and 80 parts of talc are ground to the greatest fineness in a ball mill. The mixture obtained serves as a dusting agent.
2. 20 parts of a compound of the formula I are dissolved in a mixture of 48 parts of diacetone alcohol, 16 parts of xylene and 16 parts of an anhydrous, high molecular weight condensation product of ethylene oxide with higher fatty acids. This concentrate can be diluted with water to form emulsions of any desired concentration.
3. 80 parts of a compound of formula I are mixed with 2-4 parts of a wetting agent, e.g. B. a sulfuric acid ester of an alkyl polyglycol ether, 1-3 parts of eiies protective colloid, z. B. sulphite waste liquor, and 15 parts of an inert, solid support material, such as. B. kaolin, bentonite, chalk or kieselguhr mixed ge and then finely ground in a suitable mill. The wettable powder obtained can be mixed with water and gives very stable suspensions.
4. 10 parts of a compound of formula I are in 90 parts of a high-boiling organic liq fluid such. B. coal tar oil, diesel oil or spindle oil, dissolved.
5. 5 parts of a compound of the formula I are mixed with 95 parts of calcium carbonate and ground. The product can be used as a grit.
6. 5 parts of a compound of formula I are mixed with 95 parts of a powdery carrier material, e.g. B. sand or carbonate of lime, mixed and moistened with 1-5 parts of water or isopropanol. The mixture is then granulated.
Before granulating, the above or a more active ingredient mixture, e.g. B. from 10 parts of a compound of formula I and 90 parts of calcium carbonate, a multiple amount, z. B. 100 to 900 parts, an optionally water-soluble artificial fertilizer, such as. B. ammonium sulfate, are mixed at.
