Description

  

      Plinthe       La présente invention a pour objet une plinthe  destinée à revêtir le bas d'une cloison, caractérisée  en ce qu'elle comporte, sur la face disposée en re  gard de ladite cloison, au moins 3 parties saillantes  longitudinales parallèles entre elles.  



  Au dessin annexé donné à titre d'exemple,  la     fig.    1 montre une vue, en perspective avec  coupe transversale, d'un élément de plinthe conforme  à l'invention, fixé au bas d'une cloison,  la     fig.    2. est une coupe transversale à plus grande  échelle de la même plinthe, et  la     fig.    3 est également une coupe transversale  d'une variante     d'exécution,    de la plinthe suivant l'in  vention.  



  Comme représenté en     fig.    1, la plinthe 1 repose  par sa base 2 sur le sol 3. Elle comporte, sur la  face 4, disposée en regard de la cloison 5, quatre  parties saillantes longitudinales 6, 7, 8 et 9, les par  ties 6 et 9     constituant    respectivement des rebords  inférieurs et supérieurs de ladite plinthe qui pren  nent appui contre la cloison 5. Les parties saillantes  intermédiaires 7 et 8 sont situées au voisinage et de  part et d'autre du milieu de la hauteur de la plinthe.  Cette dernière est retenue sur la cloison par des vis  de fixation 10 disposées entre les parties 7 et 8       (fig.    2).  



  Conformément à la     variante    de la     fig.    3, la plin  the la est pourvue d'une seule partie saillante inter  médiaire 11 traversée par la vis 10, tandis que     les       rebords 6a et 9a prennent appui, comme en     fig.    1 et  2, contre la cloison 5.  



  L'angle formé par la face antérieure de la plinthe  et la face     externe    de la partie saillante inférieure 6       (fig.    1 et 2), 6a     (fig.    3), est de préférence aigu. Il       s'ensuit    que la     plinthe    s'adapte ainsi plus aisément  aux irrégularités éventuelles du sol au voisinage de  la cloison.  



  Suivant une forme de réalisation, la ou les par  ties saillantes     intermédiaires    sont légèrement en re  trait du plan vertical de la cloison contre laquelle  la     plinthe    prend appui par ses rebords inférieur et  supérieur.  



       Pourtant,    du fait d'une certaine élasticité trans  versale de ladite plinthe et des irrégularités possi  bles de la cloison 5, les parties     intermédiaires    préci  tées peuvent venir en butée contre cette cloison par  l'action des vis 10.  



  Les dispositions constructives qui précèdent per  mettent de placer aisément et régulièrement lesdites  plinthes qui peuvent être réalisées, soit en bois, soit  en matière thermoplastique ou     thermodurcissante,     soit en métal (alliage d'aluminium par exemple).



      Plinth The present invention relates to a plinth intended to cover the bottom of a partition, characterized in that it comprises, on the face disposed towards said partition, at least 3 longitudinal projecting parts parallel to one another.



  In the accompanying drawing given by way of example, FIG. 1 shows a perspective view in cross section of a plinth element according to the invention, fixed to the bottom of a partition, FIG. 2. is a cross section on a larger scale of the same plinth, and FIG. 3 is also a cross section of an alternative embodiment of the plinth according to the invention.



  As shown in fig. 1, the plinth 1 rests by its base 2 on the floor 3. It comprises, on the face 4, arranged opposite the partition 5, four longitudinal protruding parts 6, 7, 8 and 9, the parts 6 and 9 constituting respectively of the lower and upper edges of said plinth which bear against the partition 5. The intermediate projecting parts 7 and 8 are located in the vicinity of and on either side of the middle of the height of the plinth. The latter is retained on the partition by fixing screws 10 arranged between the parts 7 and 8 (FIG. 2).



  According to the variant of FIG. 3, the plin the la is provided with a single intermediate projecting part 11 through which the screw 10 passes, while the flanges 6a and 9a are supported, as in FIG. 1 and 2, against partition 5.



  The angle formed by the front face of the plinth and the outer face of the lower projecting part 6 (fig. 1 and 2), 6a (fig. 3) is preferably acute. It follows that the plinth thus adapts more easily to any irregularities in the floor in the vicinity of the partition.



  According to one embodiment, the intermediate projecting part or parts are slightly in line with the vertical plane of the partition against which the plinth is supported by its lower and upper edges.



       However, due to a certain transverse elasticity of said plinth and possible irregularities of the partition 5, the aforementioned intermediate parts can come into abutment against this partition by the action of the screws 10.



  The foregoing constructive provisions make it possible to easily and regularly place said plinths which can be made either of wood, or of thermoplastic or thermosetting material, or of metal (aluminum alloy for example).

Claims

CLAIM Plinth intended to cover the bottom of a partition, characterized in that it comprises, on the face placed opposite said partition, at least 3 protruding longitudinal parts, parallel to each other. SUB-CLAIMS 1. Skirting according to claim, characterized in that it comprises 4 projecting parts including 2 intermediate parts arranged in the vicinity and on either side of the middle of the height of said plinth. 2. Skirting board according to claim and sub-claim 1, characterized in that it is retained bare against the partition by fixing screws arranged between said intermediate parts. 3.

Skirting board according to claim, characterized in that the angle between its front face and the outer face of the lower projecting part is acute. 4. Skirting according to claim, characterized in that the intermediate protruding part or parts are slightly set back from the vertical plane of the wall against which said plinth bears.
