Description

Small device mounting unit The main patent relates to a small device mounting unit.

This is characterized in that it comprises two transport members, one capable of receiving and transporting step by step the parts to be completed, the other capable of receiving and transporting step by step successive reserves of the various supplies to be assembled. , the trajectories followed by these two categories of objects having at least one zone where they pass opposite one another, means finally being provided, allowing the user to act on the first transport member named in sort of successively bringing each piece to be completed in this area.

The aim pursued by this arrangement is, the second conveyor member having, for example, cells each containing a type of supply, to successively bring all the parts to be completed in front of said cell, to extract a supply from the latter for place it on the part, then start the operation again next to the next cell, containing another supply, and so on. It is also planned to reserve empty cells, next to which the parts will then be scrolled with a view to subjecting them to an inspection or lubrication, for example.

However, the case may occur where all the parts to be completed have to receive successively two, three or more supplies forming similar groups, before resuming work according to a followed program.

By using a supply conveyor member having cells of equal size, following each other step by step, it would then be necessary, when passing each part to be completed, to scroll two to three cells in front of the latter, go back and start again until 'so that, all the parts being provided with the two or three supplies considered, it is possible to move on to the cell containing the next supply, for example the screws holding in place a previously placed member.

The present invention presents a simple solution to this problem, consisting in providing a transport element carrying supplies having, in addition to a series of cells of similar section in horizontal projection, at least one cell longer than the others in the direction of transport. and divided in the direction of its width into at least two compartments.

The appended drawing illustrates schematically the arrangement of a usual supplies transport member and, by way of example, an embodiment of such a member according to the invention.

Fig. 1 represents the usual conveyor member, of the linear type, seen in plan.

Fig. 2 is a similar view of the embodiment shown.

In the usual arrangement, that is to say according to the main patent (fig. 1), we will have, for example, in the presence of one another a disc 1 conveying parts to be completed 2, distributed on its perimeter, and a linear supply carrier, consisting of a series of cells 3 of similar section in horizontal projection. Each cell containing a type of supply, or possibly an order of control, lubrication, etc., the parts 2 pass in turn at the point of tangency A of the two transport members in order to receive there the supply contained in the al veal occupying said point A.

In the example of FIG. 2, corresponding to one embodiment of the object of the invention, the general arrangement is the same, but the supply-carrying member 4, instead of presenting only equal cells 3, has here a Cell 5 three times that of the other cells, measured in the direction of transport 6, this cell being divided, in the direction of the width, into three compartments 7, 8, 9.

Compartments 7 and 8 will contain, for example, mobiles and compartment 9 a bridge, while the normal cell following 3 'will contain the fixing screws of the bridges and will only be placed in A once all the parts 2 provided with the aforementioned supplies. The length of the cell 5 will preferably be a multiple of that of the other normal cells, in order not to have to modify anything in the step-by-step advancement mechanism of the supply conveyor member.

It is obvious that the number of compartments and the length of the cell thus divided, given in the example above, are not limiting.
