Description
Fig. 4-6 verschiedene Formem der in der Verschlussmembran angeordneten Rille.
Can with a sealing membrane attached to it
Various embodiments of cans with sealing membranes attached to them are already known.
The known sealing membranes on these cans close airtight and must be cut out in order to release the goods contained in the can. When the membrane is cut out, a jagged edge protrudes from the edge of the can, which, firstly, can give rise to injuries and, secondly, prevents the undisturbed pouring out of the goods in the can. There are also known sealing membranes that can be easily and cleanly removed from the can; however, these membranes do not guarantee airtight seal.
The purpose of the invention is to create a can with a closure membrane attached to it, which closes airtight and can nevertheless be removed easily and with a clean border.
The subject of the invention is a can with a closure membrane attached to it, characterized in that the membrane is provided with a line of weakness running directly along the can calf.
The line of weakness is expediently arranged in a groove. The sealing membrane can just above the can opening. be stretched and attached to the can body in such a way that a slip lid can be used.
The sealing membrane! can also be turned inside the box and connected to the box in such a way that a plug-in lid can be used. The sealing membrane can also be connected to the can body by means of a crimp ring on the flanged wall or by means of hot-sealing lacquer.
In the drawing, for example, embodiments are shown. Show it :
1-3 show different arrangements of the closure membrane on the can; and the
4-6 different shapes of the groove arranged in the sealing membrane.
In FIG. 1, on the left, a can 1 is shown which is closed with an inwardly turned closure membrane 2a, which has a groove 3 running directly along the can wall. The membrane 2a is attached to the outer edge of the can 1 by means of hot-sealing lacquer, so that an insertable lid is used. can be. The membrane can also (Fig. 1 right) be glued to the inner edge of the can.
FIG. 2 shows a can 1 which is closed with a flat sealing membrane 2b which has a groove 3 running directly along the can wall. The membrane 26 is fastened to the outer edge of the can 1 by means of hot-melt lacquer so that a slip-on lid can be used.
3 shows a can 1 in which the membrane 2c is connected to the can body by means of a bonding ring 4.
In the. The production of the cans is carried out as follows: A sealing membrane is placed on the end of the can body that is later to be directed upwards and connected to the body.
Then the membrane is provided with a groove which has a line of weakness directly along the can wall using a suitable tool.
The can is filled from below and then the can is closed with the bottom.
In FIGS. 4-6, for example, grooves with the lines of weakness S are shown. If the part protruding from the can wall is to be minimal after the membrane has been removed, then the groove cross-sectional shapes according to FIGS. 4 and 6 are particularly useful.
The membrane is removed in a simple manner by z. B. with the thumb along the groove 3, d. H. thus presses on the membrane along the line of weakness S, thereby separating it from the part of the membrane fastened to the can body.
