Description

Spreading device for anchoring screws in boreholes in rock, concrete and masonry. The present invention relates to an expanding device for anchoring screws in boreholes in rock, concrete and masonry.

The principle of all spreading devices known so far is based on the fact that one or more conical, slotted nuts or nuts, a two-part or multi-part expansion sleeve, are replaced by a screw screwed into the same, e.g. B. an anchor rod, enlarged in the outer diameter and is pressed against the wall of the borehole.

When anchoring screws using existing expansion sleeves, a number of difficulties now arise at the construction site. As a result of the very harsh transport and working conditions, especially in the mountains, parts of the sleeve are lost before the anchor is inserted, the expansion sleeve has to be partially installed on site, or the sleeves are so dirty that only careful cleaning ensures functionality. Further difficulties arise when inserting the anchor itself.

The not always precisely calibrated and precisely straight borehole, especially for lengths over two meters, offers increased resistance to the introduction of the expansion sleeve, so that this introduction to the desired depth can only be done by forced pressure,

Shock or blow is possible. As a result, however, a number of expansion sleeve systems become inoperable - either the segments of the nut of the sleeve shift in the axial direction with respect to one another or become wedged prematurely or are destroyed in some other way. Another disadvantage of some expansion anchors is that the surface pressure of the segments on the borehole wall is too low to prevent the sleeve from creeping when the anchor is loaded, and thus the anchor cannot fulfill its purpose.

For reasons of safety, the expansion sleeve must be designed and dimensioned in such a way that it can be loaded up to the tear limit of the anchor rod in healthy rock without yielding in the direction of pull.

These disadvantages are to be avoided by the spreading device according to the invention.

The spreader according to the invention has a frusto-pyramidal courage on its outside and an expansion sleeve, which consists of at least two jaws with their inside on wedge surfaces of the nut anlie lowing jaws, the outer surfaces of which complement each other to a circular cylinder surface, with a compression spring between the nut and the one, by radially inwardly projecting bottom parts on the jaws ge closed end of the sleeve is arranged, which strives to move the nut against the inside narrower, open end of the expansion sleeve.

The drawing shows an embodiment of the spreading device according to the invention, namely: Fig. 1 shows a side view of the spreading device with a pull rod screwed into it, Fig. 2 shows a bottom view of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 shows an inside view of a jaw of a three-part sleeve, FIG. 4 shows a side view of FIG. 3, FIG. 5 shows a plan view of FIG. 3,

6 shows the nut arranged in the expansion sleeve in a side view, FIG. 7 shows a plan view of FIG. 6, and FIG. 8 shows the nut according to FIG. 6 rotated about the axis by 90 with respect to the representation in this figure.

The expanding device shown has a frustum-shaped nut 1 with three sliding wedge surfaces 2 distributed around 120 in the circumferential direction for sliding wedge surfaces 3 on the inside of three jaws 4.

The outer walls 5 of the three jaws complement each other to form a circular cylinder.

At one end of the expansion sleeve, formed by the jaws 4, the same have a wall part 6 which together close this end, while the other end of the sleeve for the introduction of a screw, for. B. the threaded end 7 of a train rod 8 (Fig. 1), is open.

The outer wall 5 of the jaws 4 has successive cone-ring parts 9, which are in planes perpendicular to the sleeve axis and result in sawtooth-like ribs pen 10, which prevent the pulling out of the spread th sleeve from a borehole.

A helical compression spring 11, which is inserted into the white direct end of the nut, is supported on the floor, formed by the wall parts 6 of the jaws 4 from. The spring 11 tries to push the nut 1 against the open, inside narrower end of the sleeve formed by the jaws 4.

A groove 12 allows the jaws 4 to be held together by means of an open annular spring, not shown in the drawing, inserted into this groove.

A plurality of grooves and annular springs distributed over the length of the sleeve could also be provided. To hold the jaws 4 together during transport, a sleeve 13 (Fig. 1) can be seen easily, which is pushed off the same when inserting the sleeve into a drilling.

The jaws 4 could also be provided with an external thread at the open end of the sleeve. A cap nut screwed onto this thread then holds the jaws 4 together as a sleeve.

By pulling on the screwed into the sleeve screw tie rod 8, (Fig. 1) the nut is pulled into the inner narrower end of the sleeve, and whoever the jaws 4 radially outward, against the Wan extension of a borehole in which the Sleeve was pushed in, pressed. This pulling out of the nut 1 also occurs when a screw is screwed into the nut.

The longitudinal edges of adjacent jaws 4 could be provided with projections or depressions, the interlocking of which in adjacent jaws prevents axial displacement of the latter with respect to one another.

Instead of three jaws, as shown, only two or more than three jaws could be provided. A corresponding number of sliding surfaces for these jaws must then be provided on the nut.

The spreading devices described are particularly suitable for holding tie rods when hanging in tunnel construction and mining.
