Description

   Ein sicherer Halt der Mutter gegen  Herausfallen ist aber erst nach ihrem Fixieren an der  Schiene gewährleistet; die Montage ist entsprechend  umständlich. Bei der erfindungsgemässen     Verankerungs-          vorrichtung    sind diese Nachteile vermieden;

Anchoring device for releasably fastening objects on a hollow profile rail The subject matter of the present invention is an anchoring device for releasably fastening objects to a hollow profile rail provided with a longitudinal slot.

In electrical installations, especially in switchboard construction, it is common to releasably attach retaining clips for cables or Kabelka channels, terminal bars and the like to Hohlpro filschienen, which are usually rails with a C-shaped cross section.

In known designs of this type, a threaded nut is provided which is pushed into the rail from one end of the rail or is inserted frontally into the rail at a specially recessed rail point, into which a fastening bolt is screwed and the rail edge parts bounding the rail slot, e.g. by means of a lock nut, is releasably clamped. Analog anchoring devices are known for ceiling constructions with an inner ceiling made of panels.

The main disadvantages of these known anchoring devices are that when the aforementioned nuts have to be pushed into the rail from the side, the rails must be freely accessible at least at one end; if frontal insertion of the nuts is to be possible, either the rail must have a specially recessed insertion point for the nuts, or the nut must have such a cross-section that it can be inserted into the rail slot in a certain position and, after subsequent turning, e.g. can no longer be removed frontally from the rail by 90.

   A secure hold of the mother against falling out is only guaranteed after it has been fixed to the rail; the assembly is correspondingly cumbersome. With the anchoring device according to the invention, these disadvantages are avoided;

For this purpose, it is characterized in that a body made of plastic is pressed into the rail with a neck section having a rectangular cross section and offset on two opposite sides on at least approximately the width of the rail slot, at least one of which is parallel to these offset, but has a laterally offset arranged slot to its axis running in the longitudinal axis of the rail, and that the shoulders of the body created by the offsets of the neck part engage behind the edge parts of the rail slot. The offset neck section of the pressed-in body is preferably located in the rail slot and can prevent it from turning,

while the shoulders engaging behind the rail edge parts prevent the body from falling out of the rail. The slot in the body, together with the inherent elasticity of the plastic, enables the shoulders to be better inserted into the rail cavity, while the lateral offset of the slot prevents, for example, a bolt inserted into the body bore from being moved from its axial position into the slot by transverse forces.

In the accompanying drawings, Ausführungsbei are shown games of the anchoring device according to the invention; It shows: FIGS. 1 and 2 in cross-section and in plan view a rail with an anchoring body pressed in, FIGS. 3 and 4 in cross-section and in plan view the rail with another embodiment of the anchoring body, FIGS. 5 and 6 the rail with it Another embodiment of the anchoring body in plan view or

in section along line VI-VI in Fig. 5, Fig. 7 and 8 in cross section or in plan view the rail with a fourth embodiment of the anchoring body, Fig. 9 and 10 a cross section or

a plan view of a fifth embodiment of the anchoring body inserted into the rail, FIG. 11 a plan view of the rail with a sixth embodiment of the anchoring body, and FIG. 12 a cross section through the rail and a seventh embodiment of the anchoring body.

In the example shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, 1 denotes the hollow profile rail with a C-shaped cross section and 2 denotes the anchoring body provided with a central bore 3. The hole 3 is a threaded hole tion into which a fastening bolt, not shown, can be screwed; but the bore can also be provided with axial ribs in which a threaded bolt can cut the thread itself. The rail 1 can be made of metal or plastic, while the body 2 is made of plastic, e.g. a poly amide.

The drawn threaded body 2 has a square cross-section; the axial height of the main body 2a is slightly less than the inner height of the rail 1; Forming shoulders 4, a neck section 2b of the body is set off or cut on two opposite sides to approximately the width of the rail slot, while a head section 2e of the body forms the shoulders 4 at a distance of the wall thickness of the profile rail 1 opposite support surfaces 5. The side walls of the main body 2a adjoining the shoulders 4 are inclined obliquely inward.

From the head section 2c, the body 2 is provided with slits 6a, 6b parallel to the offsets of the neck section. the sides of the opposite body, but lead on different sides of the body axis to the bore 3; these slots 6a, 6b extend far into the main body 2a and make it relatively flexible in the transverse direction.

Accordingly, it is possible, despite the shoulders 4 protruding over the slot width of the rail, by simple pressure by hand frontally so far into the rail 1 until the shoulders 4 reach under the Schlitzrän of the rail; the settlements of the neck part 2b are then as shown in Fig. 1, against the end faces of the slot edges of the rail, while the support surfaces 5 of the head section 2c rest on these slot edges. The body 2 is thus secured in the rail against falling out, although it can still be moved along the rail by hand.

By screwing the fastening bolt into the bore 3, the body is spread slightly transversely to the edges of the slot and thereby fixed to the rail; this fixation can be reinforced by screwing in the bolt until it hits the rail floor. In many cases, a head section of the anchoring body protruding beyond the rail 1 is undesirable. 3 and 4 show a body 12 without the head part protruding above the neck part 12b. In order to enable the body to be pressed in properly and also to take rail tolerances into account, the main body 12a (as mentioned in the example described first) must be somewhat shorter than the internal height of the rail.

However, this would not ensure that the body is securely held in the rail before the bolt is screwed in. The water safe hold is caused in the example of Figure 3 and 4 by integrally provided at the bottom of the main body 12a, downwardly curved tongues 17, which run parallel to each other and transversely to the slots 16a, 16b on two opposite bottom edges.

These resilient tongues 17 press the body with their shoulders 14 against the inside of the slot edges of the rail; as a result, an undesirably easy displacement of the body along the rail is also impossible. Otherwise, the design of this anchoring body corresponds to that of the first example described.

It goes without saying that the tongues serving as a slide lock and as tolerance compensation, as shown at 17a in FIGS. 5 and 6, can also run parallel instead of transversely to the slots 16a, 16b; instead of free tongues at one end, brackets that are curved downwards and are connected to the main body can also be provided at both ends.

In the example shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the main body 22a and neck portion 22b are shaped analogously to the corresponding parts of the anchoring body according to FIGS. 3 to 6, with the difference that to secure the body in position in the rail or to compensate of height tolerances of two opposing bottom edges of the body are provided downwardly projecting, resilient tongues 27, and that the slots 26a, 26b do not open directly into the central bore 3, but rather offset further outwards and only through a transverse tangential with respect to the bore 3 Cut with the hole in connection.

This slightly increases the elasticity of the edge parts of the body having the shoulders 4 and at the same time ensures that even with relatively strong transverse forces on the bolt that can be screwed into the bore 3, the latter cannot escape into the slots 26a, 26b. The arrangement of the slots 36a, 36b of the example shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 has an even stronger effect in this sense.

These slots, which extend relatively far beyond the central bore 3 from different sides of the body, are not connected to this bore at all. Instead of reaching close to the rail floor as shown here, the main body 32a could also be shortened and provided with one of the tolerance compensation or support means (17 or 17a or 27) shown in FIGS. 3 to 7.

Instead of or in addition to such resilient support means, which are arranged at the bottom of the main body to ensure that the pressed-in body is held in the rail independently of additional clamping means, resilient support means can also be provided on the remote sides of the neck part of the body, as is the case with the example of FIG. In this Kör by 42 fe-changing, slightly outwardly curved tongues 47 are provided on the remote sides of the neck part, which press firmly against the front sides of the slot edges of the rail 1 when the body is pressed in.

Instead of the slots 46a, 46b which are drawn here and are arranged accordingly to the slots according to FIGS. 1 to 4, slots as in the embodiments according to FIGS. 7, 8 and 9, 10 could of course also be provided here.

In all of the examples described above, the central hole in the body is designed as a threaded hole or as a ribbed hole for directly screwing in a fastening bolt. This bolt could, however, also be cast firmly into the bore directly when the body is manufactured by injection molding. Another possibility is shown in FIG. Here is in the plastic body 52 (which corresponds to the rest of that of Figure 1, only without the head section) a threaded debüchse 53 used, the offset to the central axis th slots 56 are in communication with the bushing bore; this version is particularly suitable for higher loads.

It goes without saying that neither with this design nor with a firmly cast bolt a clamping of the neck section at the slot edges of the rail causing spreading of the body can be achieved, as this, especially with a ribbed central bore, when the bolt is subsequently screwed into the already pressed-in body is the case.

The anchoring bodies described are easy to manufacture by injection molding. They can be pressed in frontally at any point on a rail with a C-shaped cross-section by hand, ie without tools, and are immediately secured against slipping or falling out; the offset slitting results in increased elasticity of the body without affecting the secure hold of the fastening bolt.
