Inside measuring device
The invention relates to an inside measuring device, with a measuring head, which has a fixed measuring pin and an axially displaceable probe pin diametrically opposite this in a coaxial arrangement, the measuring movement of which is transmitted to a dial gauge against the action of a spring via a linkage, and which in every position can be locked by means of a braking and locking member projecting into a handle.
The present invention has set itself the task of creating an inside measuring device of the type described above, which can also be used to measure bores of the smallest diameter, can be used for measurements at practically any point in the axial lengths of a bore and in which the operator can exert any influence the measurement is avoided.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the feeler pin carries a stop, the contact surface of which is directly or indirectly with the interposition of a rolling element in constant contact with the linkage, and that the braking and locking member is designed as a pin or rod-shaped pressure member, which is in its braking position rests frictionally on one of the parts taking part in the measuring movement.
The stop is expediently designed in the form of a disk and screwed onto the feeler pin.
However, the end face of the feeler pin facing the transmission linkage, this face being beveled against the pin axis, can also serve as a stop. In this case, the rolling element designed as a ball is arranged between the inclined end face of the feeler pin and the end face of the rod designed as a push rod, which is at least approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal center axis of a bore guiding the rod.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, a compression spring acts on the end of the push rod facing away from the feeler pin in the direction of the feeler pin, the force of which is expediently variable, in that its end facing away from the push rod is supported on a contact piece adjustable in the direction of the push rod longitudinal axis with the help of a thread .
Furthermore, it can be provided that the measuring head consists of a main part containing the guide bores for the feeler pin and for the measuring pin and a connection part with a connection bore running at least approximately at right angles to the guide bores, which receives the rolling element and the front end of the push rod. The push rod is preferably guided in a tube that is coaxial with the connection bore of the measuring head, at one end of which the connection section of the measuring head is fastened by screwing and the other end of which is connected to the dial indicator by inserting the connection piece of the dial indicator into the slotted end of the tube and is clamped.
The tube guiding the push rod, the dial gauge and the measuring head are preferably arranged in such a way that when the probe pin is standing vertically, the dial of the dial gauge is at least approximately horizontal. The braking and locking member designed as a pressure member can be guided in a transverse bore in the wall of the pipe guiding the pressure rod radially in the direction of the pressure rod and away from it. The pressure member can be attached to one end of a double lever, which is mounted at least approximately in the middle between its end on the tube for guiding the pressure rod about an axis which is perpendicular to the longitudinal center axis of the pressure rod and the feeler pin.
Preferably, the braking and locking element is assigned an unlocking device which, when actuated, lifts the braking and locking element off the feeler pin or the push rod.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the measuring head has the shape of a flat prism, with the free end of the feeler pin protruding on one narrow side and the dial gauge, whose dial is located in a plane at least approximately at right angles to that, is arranged on an adjacent one Sensing pin and the measuring pin common axis runs. The linkage for actuating the dial indicator preferably contains a double lever which is rotatable about a pivot axis running perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pressure member and to the axis common to the feeler pin and the measuring pin and one end of which is assigned to the disk-shaped stop on the pin, while its other end is associated with interacts with the probe of the dial gauge.
A contact shoe can be slidably mounted on the fixed measuring pin in the direction of the pin axis, a spring pushing it against the pin end. The contact shoe sits on a sleeve which is axially displaceable on the measuring pin and which contains a guide pin running transversely through its bore, which is guided in a longitudinal slot of the measuring pin that extends in the axial direction and on which the compression spring assigned to the feeler pin is supported via a contact plate . The contact surfaces of the feeler pin and the measuring pin are preferably arched outward in the shape of a spherical cap.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the pressure member is under the action of a spring which tries to push it forward in the direction of the feeler pin or the transmission linkage. This spring is supported at its end facing away from the feeler pin on a screw part which is guided in an internally threaded bore of the handle and can be screwed in and out in the longitudinal direction of the screw by changing the preload of the spring.
Furthermore, according to a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the unlocking device assigned to the braking and locking member is guided on the handle and contains an externally actuatable lever, the inner end of which, when actuated, executes a pivoting movement that opposes the advancing movement of the braking and locking member is directed. The lever of the unlocking device is expediently mounted on the handle so as to be pivotable about an axis which runs at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the handle and to the axis common to the feeler pin and the measuring pin. The lever of the unlocking device can be a stop of the braking and locking member, for.
B. a screw, on which the lever engages in the course of its pivoting movement against the spring action.
Finally, the measuring head can be arranged at one end of the handle, which is designed as an elongated prismatic-cylindrical body, in such a way that its longitudinal axis forms a right angle with the axis common to the feeler pin and the measuring pin.
The invention will now be explained with reference to the drawing, for example. In the drawing show:
Fig. 1 the object of the invention in a side view in an axial section,
FIG. 2 shows a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, seen from the side, in a perspective illustration, and FIG
3 shows the arrangement according to FIG. 2 in a side view, in a vertical section in an enlarged illustration.
The subject matter of the invention will now be described first with reference to FIG. The measuring device shown has a measuring head 1 with a stationary measuring pin 2 on one side and a measuring pin 3 lying diametrically opposite this in a kcaxial arrangement on the other side, which is guided axially displaceably in the measuring head 1.
The measuring device shown also has a handle, which is denoted by 4a, and a dial gauge 5. Between the dial gauge 5 and the feeler pin 3, a transmission linkage is provided that converts the displacement movement of the feeler pin 3 into an approximately right-angled actuation movement that leads to a display or registration device represented by the dial gauge 5 acts.
The transmission linkage, denoted by 4, contains a ball-shaped rolling element 6 and a push rod 7, the longitudinal center axis of which runs approximately at right angles to the longitudinal center axis of the feeler pin 3 and the measuring pin 2 and the end of which faces away from the feeler pin 3 via the extension 12 to the feeler 8 of the dial gauge 5, with which it is in constant frictional connection. The feeler pin 3 is therefore on the one hand under the action of the reaction force exerted by the wall 9 to be checked in the direction of the arrow 9a and on the other hand under the opposite force according to the arrow 9b exerted by the sensor 8 of the dial indicator 5.
The feeler pin 3 is guided in a bore running in the longitudinal direction of the measuring plug 1, the longitudinal center axis of which forms an angle of 90 "with the longitudinal center axis of the bore guiding the push rod, while the push rod 7 and the borehole used to guide it, on the other hand, with the sensor of the dial gauge The end of the feeler pin 3 facing the rolling element 6 has an inclined end face 10 with which the feeler pin 3 rests on the rolling element 6, this rolling element 6 between the inclined end face 10 of the feeler pin 3 on the one hand and the end face 11 of the Push rod 7 is arranged on the other side.
Here, on the end of the push rod 7 facing away from the feeler pin 3, a compression spring 13 can also act in the direction of the feeler pin 3 according to arrow 13a, the force of which is expediently variable. For this purpose, the spring 13 can be supported, for example, on a contact piece 14 that is adjustable by means of a thread.
The measuring head itself can consist of a main part 3a containing the guide bore for the feeler pin 3 and for the measuring pin 2 and of a connection part 3b with a connection bore 3c running approximately at right angles to the guide bores, which connects the rolling element 6 and the front end 7a of the push rod 7, which is guided in a tube 15, receives. At one axial end of the tube 15, the connection part 3b of the measuring head is fastened by screwing, as shown at 3d, while the other axial end is connected to the dial indicator 5 by inserting the connector 15a of the dial indicator 5 into the slotted axial end of the tube 15 is inserted and clamped in place with the aid of the clamping piece 16.
The assignment of the tube 15, the dial indicator 5 and the measuring head to one another is made in such a way that when the measuring bolt is approximately vertically upright, as shown in Fig. 1, the dial of the dial indicator is approximately horizontal, so that the device can be easily handled and read off reliably the determined values is possible.
The push rod 7 is also assigned a locking device 19 in the area of the handle 4a, which is used to hold the push rod in its respective position and which acts mechanically. This locking device 19 contains a peg-shaped pressure member 20, which is guided on the pipe 15 leading the pressure rod 7 towards the pressure rod 7 and away from it so that it can be displaced by being movable in the transverse bore 21 of the tube in the radial direction, and in the holding position rests with its end face on the circumference of the push rod, as shown at 22 in the drawing. This pressure member 20 is provided at one end of a double lever 23 which is pivotably mounted approximately in the middle between its ends at 24 on the tube 15, namely about an axis which is perpendicular to the longitudinal center axis of the push rod and the feeler pin.
The end of the double lever facing away from the pressure member is used for actuation, as shown at 26, and is under the action of a spring 27 which, as a compression spring, tries to press the pressure member against the push rod. So if you drive into a hole to be tested, the feeler pin is pushed through the wall of the hole, for. B.
moves inwards in the direction of arrow 9a, and it transmits this movement via the ball 6 to the push rod 7, which in turn actuates the sensor 8 of the dial indicator, with the result that the relevant value is displayed on the dial of the dial indicator. The pressure member 20 is used to hold the push rod 7 in place so that the displayed measured value is also retained. Only after the locking device 19 has been released by hand is the push rod 7 returned to the starting position under the action of the spring 13 and the dial indicator spring, with the result that the feeler pin is also returned to the starting position.
Another embodiment of the invention is shown in FIGS. The measuring head is designated by 1, the measuring pin by 2 and the probe pin by 3.
The axially displaceable feeler pin 3 is under the action of a compression spring 2a, one end of which is supported on the measuring pin 2 or - as will be explained later - on a part connected to it and the other end in a central axial recess or bore 28 engages the feeler pin 3 and is supported on the base 28a of this recess. The feeler pin 3, which is under the action of the spring 2a, influences the sensor 8 of a dial gauge 5 via a linkage 7 ', in that the end of the feeler pin 3 protruding from the measuring head 1 carries a disc-shaped stop 10 which can be screwed up and down at this end and which is used for Together with the linkage 7 'which is used to actuate the sensor 8 of the dial indicator 5 is determined.
Overall, this results in an arrangement in which the measuring head 1 has the shape of a flat prism, with the free end of the feeler pin 3 protruding on one narrow side and being arranged on a dial gauge 5 adjacent to it, the dial of which is here in a plane which runs approximately at right angles to the axis common to probe pin 3 and measuring pin 2. This arrangement of the dial gauge makes the operation of the device much easier because the measured dimension can now be determined at a glance at any time.
As can be seen from FIG. 3, the linkage 7 ′ for actuating the dial indicator 5 is designed as a double lever which can be pivoted about the axis 29. One end of this double lever rests against the disk-shaped stop 10 on the feeler pin 3, while the other end of the double lever interacts with the sensor 8 of the dial indicator 5.
A contact shoe 30 is mounted on the stationary measuring pin 2 so that it can slide in the direction of the pin axis, a spring 2a pushing it against the end of the pin. The contact shoe 30 sits on a sleeve 31, which is axially displaceable on the measuring pin 2 and which contains a guide pin 32 running transversely to its bore, which is guided in an axially extending longitudinal slot 33 of the measuring pin 2 and on which a contact plate extends 34 supports the compression spring 2a assigned to the feeler pin 3. This contact shoe 30 is used to prevent unintentional tilting of the device in the bore with certainty. In order to facilitate the handling of the device, the end faces of the feeler pin 3 and of the measuring pin 2 are curved outward in the shape of a spherical cap.
The feeler pin 3 is assigned a mechanically actuatable and releasable braking and locking member 19, which consists essentially of the pressure member 20, which is rod-shaped. The pressure member 20 is under the action of a spring 27 which tries to push it forward in the direction of the feeler pin 3. The spring 27 is formed in this Ausfüh approximately example of the invention as well as in the embodiment of FIG. 1 as a compression spring, its bias is adjustable by being supported in its end facing away from the probe pin 3 on a screw part 35 which is guided in an internally threaded bore of the handle and can be screwed in and out in the longitudinal direction.
The braking and locking member 19 is assigned an unlocking device 36, which is guided on the handle and can be operated fully from the outside with the aid of the operating part 37. The lever 38 of the unlocking device 36 is mounted so that it can pivot about an axis 40 which runs at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the handle and to the axis common to the probe pin 3 and the measuring pin 2 that its free end executes a pivoting movement when the actuating part 37 is actuated the action of the spring 27 and thus the advancing movement of the braking and locking member 19 is directed in the opposite direction, this part of the lever 38 interacting during this pivoting movement with the screw 41, which represents an adjustable stop of the braking and locking member 19, and here the brake - And locking member 19 lifts against the spring action.
When measuring, the feeler pin 3 is always under the action of the braking and locking member 19, so that the determined value is automatically recorded and displayed on the dial gauge 5.
When the actuating part 37 is actuated, however, the lever 38 is pivoted counterclockwise and the braking and locking element 19 is lifted off, so that the feeler pin 3 returns to the starting position under the action of the spring 2a. 41 with an elongated recess of the lever 38 is designated.
