Description

  Housing device for cattle
The present invention relates to a housing device for tying and tying cattle individually or in groups.

The tying up of large cattle, especially cattle in the stable, is an important problem today, whereby it is a question of tying and tying cattle in groups in short or long stalls, which are usually arranged next to one another, but the cattle have the opportunity to be hired in the stall to be able to move about as unhindered as possible in the stand without, for example, leaving the drainage channel or manure plate, which is extremely important for keeping the animals clean, which represents the rear boundary of the short stand.

There is already a housing device with a vertical chain system known in which a chain is vertically stretched in the middle of the frame of a stand, on which a semi-circular bracket placed around the animal's neck or a corresponding second chain is guided on both sides so that the neck is held from one side by the vertical chain and from the other side by the bracket or the second chain.

This system has the disadvantage that the animal has only very limited freedom of movement in the stall in question. Furthermore, the chain and the bracket must be unhooked for each individual animal, then placed around the animal's neck, then the chain pushed through both bracket ends and finally hooked again to the horizontal boundary and tensioned. With this vertical chain connection, especially when using two chains, it has repeatedly happened that an animal hanged itself while trying to free itself.

Furthermore, a tethering system has become known in which the neck of the cattle is held between rigid pipes which are fixed at the top and bottom so that they can move with little movement. Individual and group locking by means of a push rod is possible here, but this rigid system only allows the animal to make such small movements that it is hardly possible for it to stand up and lie down.

According to Swiss Patent No. 499 956, the aforementioned disadvantages of the above-mentioned stabling devices or attachments can be avoided, and the cattle can still be given considerably greater freedom of movement if the neck of the animal is in an elastic, i.e. The loop following the movements of the animal's neck is accommodated, which is formed by two structurally yielding rope sections when a rope is provided for each animal, which is crossed by means of an actuating device above the animal's neck, guided along both sides of the animal's neck and crossed below the animal's neck, the ends of which are fixed in the stable floor The rope can be crossed or crossed twice both above and below the animal neck by rotating a U-rail coupled to the actuating device by 360 each.

can be laid one on top of the other, the rope being arranged in the U-rail and the rope loop being slidable upwards or downwards. The rope is advantageously twisted in the same direction of rotation to produce the double crossings delimiting the rope loop. The rope can be firmly attached to the ends of the U-rail.

The purpose of the present invention is to significantly expand the field of application of the device according to Swiss Patent No. 499,956.

The device according to the invention of the type mentioned at the beginning is characterized in that two rope sections are provided for each animal, each of which is connected with its upper end above the neck of an animal to be tied to a U-rail belonging to an actuating device and each on one Side of the animal's neck are passed, and of which at least one section of rope is attached with its lower end in the stable floor,

wherein the rope sections can be crossed to form a slidable loop at least above the animal neck by turning the U-rail between an open position and a closed position of the device in the closed position, and the upper end of at least one rope section is attached to a roller mounted at one end of the U-rail is and this role is lockable when the device is in the open position and is designed to be spring-actuated in the closed position of the device for rolling up and unrolling the rope section in question.

An advantageous embodiment of the device according to the invention consists in that only the upper end of a rope section is fastened to the roller mounted in the U-rail, whereas the upper end of the other rope section is attached to the U-rail itself.

Another advantageous embodiment is designed in such a way that the lower end of the first rope section is relatively loosely fastened in the center of the stable floor, while the lower end of the second rope section has a lower eye which slidably encompasses the first rope section and which is approximately halfway when the device is open Height between the stable floor and the neck of the animal, while the second rope section attached to the roller has a fixed rope insert at about the height of the animal's neck in the form of an eye that is open with respect to the later crossing of the rope section, the continuation of which is angled upwards at right angles, and in which when the U-rail is rotated by 2700 from the open position of the device, ie

in the closed position, the first part is slidably inserted, the lower eye slipping upwards, and that an extension arm which is fixed above the U-rail and in its axle pin on the stand construction is provided with a groove at its end facing the roller of the U-rail , in which, in the closed position, a retaining pin attached to the roller end of the U-rail and operated by a tension spring engages, which at the same time disengages from a gear rim of the roller and releases its rotation for unrolling and rolling up the rope section in the closed position, and that this retaining pin in the reverse rotation of the U-rail from this closed position disengages from the groove, engages in the gear rim of the roller and detects its rotation.

Further advantages and possible applications of the present invention emerge from the following description and from the attached figures of an exemplary embodiment of the invention.

   It shows:
1 shows a view of the device according to the invention,
FIG. 2 shows the device according to the invention after rotating the U-rail of FIG. 1 by 270,
3 shows, on a larger scale, a cross section of the device along section A-A of FIG.
4 shows, on a larger scale, a plan view of FIG. 3 shortly before the 270 position, and FIG
FIG. 5 shows a partial view of the right-hand side of FIG. 3 on a larger scale.

According to FIG. 1 of the illustrated embodiment of the invention, the frame of the installation device in the present invention consists of the two lateral standpipes 10 which are connected to one another at their upper ends by horizontally extending pipes 11, 11a. As usual, the side standpipes each serve as a boundary for the two adjoining stabling devices. The connection of the horizontal pipes 11, 11a to the standpipes 10 takes place by means of the horizontal flanges 10a.

The actuation device is carried out by the crank mechanism 1 via the rack 2, which moves the ring gear 3, in which the axle bolt 4 is arranged centrally and the U-rail 5 is firmly attached to its lower end.

Spring-actuated sliding rollers 12a can be arranged at the two ends of the U-rail 5, which are fixed in the open position of the device and take over the otherwise sliding movement of the cable sections 6b, 6c in the U-rail 5 by unrolling or rolling up in the closed position.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, only the rope section 6c is attached to such a roller 12a, while the other rope section 6b is firmly attached to the end of the U-rail 5. When the device is in the open position, the part 6b for forming the parallel displaceable cable loop 6a is relatively loosely anchored in a known manner in the center of the base 7 on the iron bracket or ring 8 and can be displaced through an eye 6d located at the end of the counterpart 6c. This eye is located at about half the height h / 2 of the height h between the floor 7 and the base of the neck of the animal. The counterpart 6c on the spring-operated roller 12a is in the open position of the device by the engaged retaining pin 18 in the U-rail 5 or.

their rotation in the roller 12a detected. The part 6c has a fixed rope insert 15 in the form of an eye that is open with respect to the later intersection of the parts 6b, 6c approximately at the level of the animal's neck, this insert 15 being bent upwards at right angles as it continues.

The closed position of the device is indicated in FIG. 2, which is shown in broken lines in FIG. 1 for the sake of clarity.

In this closed position, the U-rail was rotated by the actuating device 1, 2, 3, 4 by 2700 from the open position of the device according to FIG. 1, so that the rope section 6b is slidably inserted into the open eye of the rope insert 15 of the rope section 6c and the eye 6d at the lower end of the part 6c has shifted at the part 6b by approximately the distance of further h / 2 up to the height h at the base of the neck of the animal. At the moment of the closed position, the retaining pin 18 also releases the rotation of the spring-operated roller 12a. As a result, the part 6c unwinds or reels in following the parallel displacement of the cable loop 6a.

According to the transverse view of FIG. 3, which shows the section AA according to FIG. 2 on a larger scale, in the closed position at 270 the spring-actuated roller 12a on the right front part of the U-rail 5, from which or onto which the rope section extends 6c can roll or roll up in the closed position when the animal is held in place in the rope loop 6a which can be moved in parallel.

Above the U-rail 5, the cantilever arm 16 fixedly attached to the stand structure, for example the tubes 11, 11a, can be seen, into which the U-rail 5 is locked in the closed position by means of the retaining pin 18, which is simultaneously released from the roller 12a is disengaged.

4 shows the cantilever arm 16 with its open groove 16b attached to its end 16a, into which the retaining pin 18, which is attached to the end of the U-rail 5 moved by the actuating device 1, 2, 3, 4, can snap.

The completed engagement is shown in Fig. 5, where again the retaining pin 18 is shown only schematically, which is provided with the tension spring 17 in the middle and fixedly above the axis of the roller 12a in the U-rail. In the 270 position, the head of the retaining pin 18 engages in the groove 16b of the cantilever arm 16, with a device for holding and releasing the retaining pin in or out of the groove, for example by a notch, in the drawing for the sake of clarity - or drainage surface etc. is omitted.

When it snaps into the groove 16b, the retaining pin lifts and moves out of the roller 12a or a gear rim 12b firmly attached to this roller and thus simultaneously releases the rotary movement of the spring-actuated roller 12a in the closed position, whereby the rope section 6c of the rope loop 6a or can unroll and roll up following the movements of the animal. When the pin 18 disengages from the groove 16b, it moves back into the roller 12a, 12b at the same time. The retaining pin 18 thus fulfills the following tasks at this point: it blocks the rotary movement of the roller 12a, 12b when it is in the open position and holds the U-rail in place when it is in the closed position, lifting up and releasing the rotation of the spring-actuated roller 12a, 12b.

The present invention offers the advantage of using the basic principle of the rotation of the U-rail to form a parallel slidable rope loop through the rope sections in engagement with the U-rail be certain types of cattle placed in this way even more safely and comfortably to tie and loosen .
