Abstract

A standard electrical signal with constant and known frequency is generated by a quartz resonator (1). It is applied to a control circuit (3) which converts it into a control signal for a hands-type time display device (5). Detection means associated with the minute hand produce a signal whenever this hand passes the zero minute position. This detection signal is applied to a circuit for producing a time indication signal which controls the emission of an acoustic or visual signal formed of pulses equal in number to that of the hours. <IMAGE>
