PATENTANSPRUCH Fungizid, enthaltend einen festen oder flüssigen Träger-stoff und ein ß-Azolkylketon der Formel I

in der R1 Alkyl mit bis zu 7 C-Atomen, Cycloalkyl und gegebenenfalls substituiertes Aryl, R2 Furanyl, Thiophenyl, Naphthyl, Biphenylyl oder Phenyl bedeutet, wobei der Phenylrest durch Halogen, Alkyl, Alkoxy, Alkenyloxy, Nitro, Trifluormethyl substituiert sein kann und R1 und R2 nicht gleichzeitig Phenyl bedeuten, sowie deren Salze.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Fungizid, das neue ß-Azolylketone und deren Salze enthält.
Es ist bekannt, dass 1,2,4-Triazol-Derivate, zum Beispiel l-[l,2,4-Triazolyl-(l)]-2-(4'-chlorphenoxy)-4,4-dimethyl-pentan-3-on eine gute fungizide Wirksamkeit zeigen. Die Wirkung dieser Stoffe ist bei niedrigen Aufwandmengen und -konzentrationen nicht befriedigend. Darüber hinaus ist ihre fungitoxische Wirkung mit einer hohen Phytotoxizität verbunden, so dass in den für die Bekämpfung von Rostpilzen notwendigen Konzentrationen auch die Kulturpflanzen geschädigt werden. Aus diesen Gründen sind sie für den Gebrauch als Pflanzenschutzmittel zur Bekämpfung von Pilzen nicht immer und nicht bei allen Getreidearten und -Sorten geeignet.
Es wurde gefunden, dass die neuen ß-Azolylketone der Formel I

in der R1 Alkyl mit bis zu 7 C-Atomen, Cycloalkyl, vorzugsweise mit 3 bis 8 C-Atomen, und gegebenenfalls substituiertes Aryl, R2 Furanyl, Thiophenyl, Naphthyl, Biphenylyl oder Phenyl bedeutet, wobei der Phenylrest durch Halogen, Alkyl, vorzugsweise mit 1 bis 4 C-Atomen, Alkoxy, vorzugsweise mit 1 bis 3 C-Atomen, Alkenyloxy, Nitro, Trifluormethyl substituiert sein kann und R1 und R2 nicht gleichzeitig Phenyl bedeuten sowie deren Salze gut wirksam gegen Schadpilze, insbesondere aus der Klasse der Ascomyceten und Basidiomyceten sind.
R1 bedeutet beispielsweise Methyl, Isopropyl, tert.-Bu-tyl, Neopentyl, Norbornyl, Phenyl, p-Chlor-phenyl oder 2,4-Dichlorphenyl.
R2 bedeutet beispielsweise Phenyl, Tolyl, p-Isopropyl-phenyl, Naphthyl, Thienyl, Furyl, m- und p-Chlor-phenyl, p-Brom-phenyl, 2,4-Dichlor-phenyl, 3,4-Dichlor-phenyl, p-Methoxy-phenyl, 3,5-Dichlor-4-alIyloxy-phenyl, o-Allyloxy-phenyl, p-Nitro-phenyl oder p-Trifluormethyl-phenyl.
ß-Azolylketone der Formel I bzw. deren Salze können durch Umsetzung a,ß-ungesättigter Ketone der Formel II

in welcher R1 und R2 die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben, mit 1,2,4-Triazol gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines basischen Katalysators und gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels hergestellt werden. Dieses Herstellungsverfahren wird bevorzugt. Man erhält die Verbindungen auch, wenn man ß-Halogenketone der Formel III
RI-CO-CH2-CH-R2 (III),
in welcher R1 und R2 die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben und X Halogen bedeutet, mit 1,2,4-Triazol gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines Säurebindemittels und gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels umsetzt. Schliesslich erhält man die Verbindungen, wenn man Ketone der Formel R^CO-CHs (IV) und Aldehyde der Formel OCH-R2 (V), in welcher R1 und R2 die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben, mit 1,2,4-Triazol gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines basischen Katalysators und gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels umsetzt. Aus den nach diesen Verfahren erhaltenen Verbindungen kann man mit Säuren die Salze herstellen.
Die Umsetzung von a,ß-ungesättigten Ketonen mit 1,2,4-Triazol nach dem oben beschriebenen Verfahren wird zweckmässig ohne Verdünnungsmittel oder in einem indifferenten Verdünnungsmittel, z.B. Methanol, Äthanol, Iso-propanol, n-Butanol, Tetrahydrofuran, Dioxan, Toluol, Xy-lol, Dimethylformamid bei Temperaturen von etwa 0 bis 100 °C„ vorzugsweise +20 bis + 50°C durchgeführt.
Dabei ist es zweckmässig, eine alkalische Verbindung, beispielsweise Natriumhydroxid oder Kaliumhydroxid oder Triäthylamin oder N,N-Dimethyl-cyclohexylamin in kataly-tischer Menge zuzusetzen.
Die als Ausgangsstoffe verwendeten Verbindungen II sind aus der Literatur bekannt und können aus Ketonen der Formel IV und Aldehyden der Formel V nach üblichen Verfahren hergestellt werden. Wenn dabei die notwendige Menge an Triazol zugesetzt wird, erhält man in einem Schritt direkt die Wirkstoffe der Formel I. Diese Umsetzungen werden beispielsweise in Alkoholen wie Methanol oder Äthanol oder iso-Propanol oder in Amiden, z.B. Dimethylformamid, bei Temperaturen von etwa 0 bis 100°C, vorzugsweise +20 bis + 50 °C, und in Gegenwart eines basischen, in Wasser gelösten Katalysators, z.B. Natriumhydroxid oder Kaliumhydroxid, durchgeführt.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I sind farblose kristalline Produkte, leichtlöslich in Essigester, Aceton, Äthanol, Tetrahydrofuran, Methylenchlorid, Chloroform, Dimethyl-sulfoxid, Dimethylformamid und N-Methylpyrrolidon.
Die neuen ß-Azolyl-ketone und ihre Salze zeigen eine erheblich breitere fungizide Wirkung und eine überlegene Pflanzenverträglichkeit als das bekannte l-[l,2,4-Triazolyl-(l)]-2-(4'-chlor-phenoxy)-4,4-dimethyl-pentan-3-on.
Die neuen Wirkstoffe können auch in Form ihrer Salze, z.B. Hydrochloride, Oxalate oder Nitrate verwendet werden.
Von grossem Interesse sind die erfindungsgemässen fun-giziden Mittel bei Pilzerkrankungen an verschiedenen Kulturpflanzen, z.B. bei

Unter Kulturpflanzen verstehen wir in diesem Zusammenhang insbesondere Weizen, Roggen, Gerste, Hafer,
Reis, Mais, Apfelbau, Gurken, Bohnen, Kaffee, Zuckerrohr, Weinrebe, Erdbeeren sowie Zierpflanzen im Gartenbau.
Die Wirkstoffe der Formel I sind systemisch wirksam. Die systemische Wirksamkeit dieser Mittel ist von besonderem Interesse im Zusammenhang mit der Bekämpfung von inneren Pflanzenkrankheiten, z. B. Getreiderost, Getreidemehltau.
Die erfindungsgemässen Mittel können gleichzeitig das Wachstum von zwei oder mehr der genannten Pilze unterdrücken und besitzen eine hohe Pflanzenverträglichkeit. Die zur Bekämpfung der phythopathogenen Pilze erforderlichen Aufwandmengen liegen zwischen 0,05 und 2 kg Wirkstoff/ha Kulturfläche.
Als Beispiele für die erfindungsgemäss verwendbaren Wirkstoffe seien im einzelnen genannt:

24,8 g (0,1 Mol) l-Phenyl-3-(4'-chlorphenyl)-prop-2-en-1-on, 11 g 1,2,4-Triazol (0,15 Mol) und 0,3 g Kaliumhydroxyd werden in 200 ml Dimethylformamid aufgelöst und 10 Stunden bei 45 °C gerührt. Danach wird das Lö-35 sungsmittel im Vakuum abdestilliert, der Rückstand in 300 ml Äther aufgelöst und die organische Lösung zweimal mit je 100 ml Wasser gewaschen. Die organische Phase wird danach über Natriumsulfat getrocknet, abfiltriert und mit Chlorwasserstoffgas begast. Der Niederschlag von 40 3-[l ,2,4-T riazolyH 1)]-1 -phenyl-3-(4'-chlor-phenyl)-propan-1-on-hydrochlorid wird abgesaugt und getrocknet.
Ausbeute: 20 g weisse Kristalle vom Schmelzpunkt 156 bis 158°C (83%) neben 7,4 g wiedergewonnenem 1-Phenyl-3-(4'-chlor-phenyl)-prop-2-en-l-on. Analog werden die in 45 der folgenden Tabelle 1 aufgeführten Verbindungen hergestellt.

Die erfindungsgemässen Wirkstoffe können in die üblichen Formulierungen übergeführt werden, wie Lösungen, Emulsionen, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten und Granulate. Diese werden in bekannter Weise hergestellt, z. B. durch Vermischen des Wirkstoffs mit Lösungsmitteln und/oder Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Verwendung von Emulgiermitteln und Dispergiermitteln, wobei im Falle der Benutzung von Wasser als Verdünnungsmittel auch andere organische Lösungsmittel als Hilfslösungsmittel verwendet werden können. Als Hilfsstoffe kommen dafür im wesentlichen in Frage: Lösungsmittel, wie Aromaten (z.B. Xylol, Benzol), chlorierte Aromaten (z.B. Chlorbenzole), Paraffine (z.B. Erdölfraktionen), Alkohole (z. B. Methanol, Butanol), Amine (z. B. Äthanolamin, Dimethylformamid) und Wasser; Trägerstoffe wie natürliche Gesteinsmehle (z.B. Kaoline, Tonerden, Talkum, Kreide) und synthetische Gesteinsmehle (z.B. hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Silikate); Emulgiermittel, wie nichtiono-gene und anionische Emulgatoren (z.B. Polyoxyäthylen-Fettalkohol-Äther, Alkylsulfonate und Arylsulfonate) und Dispergiermittel, wie Lignin, Sulfitablaugen und Methyl-cellulose.
Die Formulierungen enthalten im allgemeinen zwischen 0,1 und 95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5 und 90%. Die Formulierungen bzw. die daraus hergestellten gebrauchsfertigen Zubereitungen, wie Lösungen, Emulsionen, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten oder Granulate, werden in bekannter Weise angewendet, beispielsweise durch Versprühen, Vernebeln, Verstäuben, Verstreuen, Beizen oder Giessen.
Die erfindungsgemässen Mittel können in diesen Anwen-45 dungsformen auch zusammen mit anderen Wirkstoffen vorliegen, z.B. Herbiziden, Insektiziden, Wachstumsregulatoren und Fungiziden, oder auch mit Düngemitteln vermischt werden. Fungizide, die mit den erfindungsgemässen Verbindungen kombiniert werden können, sind beispielsweise Diso thiocarbamate und deren Derivate, wie Ferridimethyldithiocarbamat,

Besonders deutlich ist die Wirkungssteigerung bei den Mischungsverhältnissen 1: 2 bis 1 : 4 Gewichtsteile zu beobachten.

Die Versuchspflanzen werden anschliessend im Gewächshaus bei Temperaturen zwischen 20 und 22°C und 75 bis 80% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit aufgestellt. 30 Gewichtsteile der Verbindung 7 werden mit einer Mischung aus 92 Gewichtsteilen pulverförmigem Kieselsäuregel und 8 Gewichtsteilen Paraffinöl, das auf die Oberfläche dieses Kieselsäuregels gesprüht wurde, innig vermischt. Man erhält auf diese Weise eine Aufbereitung des Wirkstoffs mit guter Haftfähigkeit.

40 Gewichtsteile des Wirkstoffs 9 werden mit 10 Teilen Natriumsalz eines Phenolsulfonsäure-harnstoff-form-aldehyd-Kondensats, 2 Teilen Kieselgel und 48 Teilen Was-5 ser innig vermischt. Man erhält eine stabile wässrige Dispersion. Durch Verdünnen mit 100 000 Gewichtsteilen Wasser erhält man eine wässrige Dispersion, die 0,04 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff enthält.

20 Teile des Wirkstoffs 8 werden mit 2 Teilen Calcium-salz der Dodecylbenzsulfosäure-harnstoff-formaldehyd-Kondensats und 68 Teilen Natriumsalz eines Phenol-sulfon-säure-harnstoff-formaldehyd-Kondensats und 68 Teilen ei-15 nes paraffinischen Mineralöls innig vermischt. Man erhält eine stabile ölige Dispersion.
