Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung teilweise bekannter vinylsubstituierter Cyclopropan-carbonsäureester, die als Zwischenprodukte zur Herstellung insektizider Wirkstoffe verwendet werden können oder die selbst als Insektizide verwendet werden können.
Verschiedene Chrysanthemumsäureester, beispielsweise die Pyrethrine, Jasmoline oder Onerine, sind natürlich vorkommende Cyclopropancarbonsäureester mit insektizider Wirkung. Sie besitzen wertvolle Eigenschaften, die aber z.B. durch leichten oxidativen Abbau beeinträchtigt werden. Es wurden auch synthetische Produkte gefunden, z. B. m-Phen-
oxybenzyl- oder 5-Benzyl-3-furfurylmethyl-ester der 2,2-Di-methyl-3-(ß,ß-dihalogenvinyl)-cyclopropancarbonsäuren, 60 deren insektizide Aktivität höher als diejenige der entsprechenden Chrysanthemumsäureester sein soll. Darüber hinaus sollen die synthetischen Produkte eine höhere Stabilität gegen oxidativen Abbau aufweisen [Nature 244,456 (1973); J. Agr. Food. Chem. 21, 767 (1973)].
65 Zur Synthese dieser synthetischen Produkte sind verschiedene Verfahren bekannt:
Die Umsetzung von Diazoessigsäureester mit 1,1 -Di-chlor-4-methyl-pentadien-l,3 führt nach Hydrolyse zu der

als Zwischenprodukt für die Synthese von Pyrethroiden geeigneten 2,2-Dimethyl-3-[ß,ß-dichlorvinyl)-cyclopropancar-bonsäure (Coll. Czech. Chem. Commun. 24,2230 (1959)].
Die Ozonisierung natürlich vorkommender Chrysanthemumsäureester liefert 2,2-Dimethyl-3-formyl-cyclopropan-carbonsäureester als Zwischenprodukt für die Wittigreak-tion mit Triphenyl-dichlormethylenphosphoran (Südafrikanische Patentschrift 733 528).
Diese Verfahren sind jedoch in grösserem Massstab nur schwierig durchführbar.
Es sind weitere Verfahren bekanntgeworden, die zu 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(ß,ß-dihalogenvinyl)-cyclopropancarbon-säuren und -estern führen. So werden bestimmte Allyl-alkohole mit Orthoestern umgesetzt und einer Umlagerung bei 160°C unterworfen. Gegebenenfalls radikalische Addition von CC14 und nachfolgende Cyclisierung liefern die Carbonsäurederivate, aus denen sich die oben genannten Säuren gewinnen lassen. Bei diesem Verfahren treten in den einzelnen Reaktionsstufen verschiedene Nebenprodukte auf, die teilweise die Isolierung von Zwischenstufen erschweren und sich ausbeutemindernd bemerkbar machen können (Deutsche Offenlegungsschriften 2 539 895, 2 544 150).
Die bekannten Verfahren zur Einführung insbesondere einer Halogenvinylgruppe in 3-Stellung der Cyclopropancar-bonsäure weisen von Fall zu Fall Nachteile auf, von denen folgende besonders schwer wiegen können:
1. Bildung unerwünschter Nebenprodukte
2. Teilweise relativ hohe Reaktionstemperaturen
3. Mehrere Reaktionsstufen
4. Relativ geringe Gesamtausbeuten über alle Reaktionsschritte.
Die voranstehend genannten Verfahren sind daher wenig geeignet für die industrielle Herstellung vielfältiger verschieden substituierter Cyclopropancarbonsäureester.
Es wurde ferner gefunden, dass vinylsubstituierte Cyclo-propancarbonsäuren erhalten werden können, indem man in situ erzeugtes Monochlorketen auf äthylenisch ungesättigte Verbindungen einwirken lässt (Deutsche Offenlegungsschrift 2 539 048).
Dieses Verfahren ist jedoch nicht universell anwendbar und kann nur mit äthylenisch ungesättigten Verbindungen durchgeführt werden, deren Doppelbindung durch geeignete Substituenten aktiviert ist.

Das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren wird vorzugsweise in einem inerten organischen Lösungsmittel, wie Methanol, bei Verwendung von Natriummethylat oder Äthanol bei Verwendung von Natriumäthylat oder einem Äther, wie Diäthyläther, Tetrahydrofuran, 1,2-Dimethoxyäthan, Tetra-methylensulfon, Dimethylformamid, einem Kohlenwasserstoff wie Benzol oder Toluol, durchgeführt. Die Umsetzung kann bei Temperaturen von —30 bis + 150°C, vorzugsweise von 20 bis 60 °C, durchgeführt werden. Bisweilen reagieren die Komponenten gewöhnlich schon bei 0 °C ausreichend schnell miteinander. Die Reaktionszeit ist abhängig von den Reaktanden, der Reaktionstemperatur und dem verwendeten a-Halogenketon und kann zwischen I und 10 Stunden schwanken.
Für die Ringkontraktion ist theoretisch ein Äquivalent eines Alkoholats erforderlich. Die Umsetzung kann jedoch auch mit einem Überschuss bis zu einem Äquivalent sowie mit einem geringen. Unterschuss an Alkoholat von etwa 0,1 Äquivalent durchgeführt werden.
Zur Aufarbeitung neutralisiert man gegebenenfalls im Überschuss vorhandenes Alkoholat mit beispielsweise alkoholischer Salzsäure unter Kühlen, filtriert das Reaktionsgemisch und trennt den Cyclopropancarbonsäureester durch Destillieren oder Kristallisieren. Man kann aber auch so verfahren, dass man das Reaktionsgemisch in mit Eis verdünnte Salzsäure einträgt und den gewünschten Ester mit einem organischen Lösungsmittel extrahiert.
Die beim erfindungsgemässen Verfahren verwendbaren a-Halogencyclobutanone der Formel V sind neu.
Sie können nach dem weiter oben beschriebenen Verfahren erhalten werden. Sie können jedoch auch durch Haloge-nierung bzw. HCl-Addition um die entsprechenden vinyl-substituierten a-Halogencyclobutanone nach an sich bekannten Methoden erhalten werden.
Bevorzugt werden beim erfindungsgemässen Verfahren a-Halogencyclobutanone der Formel V eingesetzt, in der R1 bis R7 die weiter oben als vorzugsweise sowie besonders bevorzugt genannten Bedeutungen haben.
Bevorzugte Alkoholate der Formel III, die beim Umsetzen der Verbindungen der Formel V verwendet werden, sind dieselben, wie sie weiter oben als bevorzugt angegeben worden sind.
Die Arbeitsweise zur Ringverengung des halogenierten Cyclobutanons der Formel V ist identisch wie weiter oben beschrieben. Als Alkoholate werden bevorzugt diejenigen niederer Alkohole verwendet, da ein Äquivalent des Alkoholats für die Dehydrohalogenierung verbraucht wird und nicht zur Bildung des Esters führt. Dies wäre bei kostspieligen Alkoholen gewöhnlich unwirtschaftlich.
Neben der beschriebenen Ringverengung findet eine Dehydrohalogenierung an der Seitenkette statt, die ein weiteres Äquivalent Alkoholat erfordert.

Nach den weiter oben angegebenen Verfahren können die neuen und bekannten a-Halogencyclobutanone, die im erfindungsgemässen Verfahren als Ausgangsmaterialien dienen, erhalten werden.
Beim Verfahren 1. werden bevorzugt und besonders bevorzugt Cyclobutanone der Formel IV, in welcher die Reste R1 bis R7 die weiter oben bevorzugt und besonders bevorzugt angegebenen Bedeutungen haben.
Als einzelne Cyclobutanone, die beim Verfahren 1. eingesetzt werden können, seien bevorzugt die den oben angegebenen a-Halogencyclobutanonen zugrundeliegenden Cyclobutanone genannt.
Geeignete Halogenierungsmittel für das Verfahren 1.
sind weiter oben genannt.
Bevorzugt wird jedoch Brom oder Chlor verwendet. Das Verfahren 1. kann gegebenenfalls in einem Verdünnungsmittel durchgeführt werden. Geeignet sind inerte organische apro tische Lösungsmittel, wie z.B. Kohlenwasserstoffe und chlorierte Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Methylenchlorid, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Chloroform, 1,2-Dichloräthan, n-Hexan, Ligroin; Äther wie Diäthyläther, Ester wie Essigsäureäthylester; ausser den aprotischen lassen sich auch protische Lösungsmittel verwenden, wie z.B. Ameisen-, Essig-, Propion-oder Buttersäure. Diese können zusätzlich die Bildung der a -Halogencyclobutanonderivate katalysieren. Weitere, geeignete Katalysatoren sind z.B. Halogenwasserstoffsäuren, wie Chlorwasserstoff, Bromwasserstoff, Jodwasserstoff; Mineralsäure, wie z. B. Schwefelsäure, Perchlorsäure, Phosphorsäure; ferner Lewis-Säuren wie Aluminiumtrichlorid, Eisentrichlorid, Zinkchlorid, Titantetrachlorid. Gegebenenfalls lässt sich die Halogenierung beispielsweise auch durch UV-Licht katalysieren.
Die Reaktionstemperatur der Halogenierung ist gewöhnlich in einem weiten Bereich wählbar. Sie gelingt in Abhängigkeit von der Struktur des zu halogenierenden Cyclo-butanonderivats normalerweise sowohl bei — 70 °C als auch bei + 80 °C. Als präparativ nützlich erweist sich beispielsweise ein Temperaturbereich von —10 bis +40 °C, vorzugsweise 15 bis 25 °C. Im Speziellen kann die Halogenierung so durchgeführt werden, dass das Halogen portionenweise in die Reaktionslösung eingetragen wird, wobei die Geschwindigkeit der Zugabe sich nach dem Umsatz des Halogens richtet, d.h. erst wenn zuvor eingetragenes Halogen umgesetzt ist, erfolgt die Zugabe einer weiteren Menge Halogen. Eine andere, verschiedentlich angewendete Methode besteht beispielsweise darin, dass man die Reaktanden (Cyclobuta-nonderivat und Halogen, gegebenenfalls Lösungsmittel und Katalysator) zusammengibt und bei 15 bis 25 °C reagieren lässt. Eine weitere Variante besteht beispielsweise darin, dass ein Teil des sich während der Reaktion bildenden Halogenwasserstoffs mit Stickstoff aus der Reaktionslösung ausgetrieben oder durch Umsetzung mit einer basischen Verbindung, wie z.B. Calciumcarbonat oder Soda, entfernt wird.
Die Aufarbeitung der Reaktionslösung kann so erfolgen, dass der Halogenwasserstoff mit Stickstoff oder Luft ausgetrieben wird und die Reaktionslösung gegebenenfalls nach Entfernen überschüssigen Halogens mit Natriumthiosulfat direkt in das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren eingesetzt wird, insbesondere dann, wenn durch Umsetzung mit einer wäss-rigen Alkalibase die entsprechende Cyclopropancarbonsäure oder wenn durch Umsetzung mit einem Alkalisalz eines niederen Alkohols wie Äthanol ein Cyclopropancarbonsäureester dieses niederen Alkohols erhalten werden sollen. Das rohe a-Halogenketon lässt sich beispielsweise durch Waschen mit Wasser, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz eines mit Wasser nicht mischbaren Lösungsmittels, halogenwasser-stofffrei erhalten und durch Kristallisieren oder Destillieren in reiner Form isolieren.
Die beim Verfahren zur Herstellung der Ausgangsmaterialien verwendbaren Cyclobutanone der allgemeinen Formel X sind neu.
Sie können erhalten werden, indem man bekannte Cyclobutanone (Houben-Weyl Band IV Teil 4 S. 174 ff) mit metallorganischen Verbindungen wie Äthinylmagnesium-bromid, Propargyllithium unter Zusatz von Katalysatoren wie Kupfersalzen, die eine 1,4-Addition begünstigen, umsetzt.
Die erhaltenen 3-Äthinylcyclobutanone werden gewöhnlich sowohl in a-Stellung zur Ketogruppe als auch an der Dreifachbindung halogeniert. Es ist beispielsweise auch möglich, vor der Halogenierung an die Dreifachbindung Halogenwasserstoff zu addieren und so anstelle der 1,2-di-halogenvinylsubstituierten Cyclobutanone zu 1- oder 2-ha-logenvinylsubstituierten Cyclobutanonen zu gelangen.
Die Durchführung des Verfahrens 2. entspricht gewöhnlich der beim Verfahren 1. beschriebenen mit der Massgabe, dass gegebenenfalls zur Halogenierung 2 Äquivalente Halogenierungsmittel benötigt werden.
Die beim Verfahren 3. verwendbaren Cyclobutanone der allgemeinen Formel VI sind neu.
Auch die Durchführung des Verfahrens 3. entspricht gewöhnlich der beim Verfahren 1. beschriebenen.
Die neuen a-Halogencyclobutanone der Formel II, in welcher R1 bis R7 die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben, können zum Teil auch nach dem oben angegebenen, alternativen Verfahren erhalten werden .

Die bei diesem Verfahren eingesetzten 1,3-Diene sind bekannt bzw. können nach bekannten Verfahren erhalten werden. Bevorzugt werden 1,3-Diene der Formel XII eingesetzt, in welcher die Reste R1 bis R7 die oben angegebene bevorzugte Bedeutung haben.
Besonders bevorzugt sind 1,3-Diene der Formel XII, in welcher die Reste R1 bis R7 die oben angegebene besonders bevorzugte Bedeutung haben.
Das weiterhin beim genannten Verfahren verwendbare Chlorketen ist bekannt, es kann gegebenenfalls in situ eingesetzt werden. Hinsichtlich der Verfahrensbedingungen für diese Reaktion sei auf die in der Deutschen Offenlegungsschrift DOS 2 539 048 beschriebenen Bedingungen verwiesen.
Wie bereits erwähnt, sind die bei den genannten Verfahren zur Ausgangsmaterialherstellung verwendbaren Cyclobutanone teilweise neu.
Wie bereits mehrfach erwähnt, eignen sich die gemäss dem erfindungsgemässen Verfahren erhältlichen Cyclopropancarbonsäureester beispielsweise zur Bekämpfung tierischer Schädlinge oder aber als Zwischenprodukte zur Herstellung von Wirkstoffen zur Bekämpfung tierischer Schädlinge.
Die Wirkstoffe eignen sich bei guter Pflanzenverträglichkeit und günstiger Warmblütertoxizität beispielsweise zur Bekämpfung von tierischen Schädlingen, insbesondere Insekten und Spinnentieren, die in der Landwirtschaft, in Forsten, im Vorrats- und Materialschutz sowie auf dem Hygienesektor vorkommen. Sie sind im allgemeinen gegen normal sensible und resistente Arten sowie gegen alle oder einzelne Entwicklungsstadien wirksam. Zu den oben erwähnten Schädlingen gehören beispielsweise:

Die Wirkstoffe können in die üblichen Formulierungen übergeführt werden, wie Lösungen, Emulsionen, Spritzpulver, Suspensionen, Pulver, Stäubemittel, Schäume, Pasten, lösliche Pulver, Granulate, Aerosole, Suspensions-55 Emulsionskonzentrate, Saatgutpuder, Wirkstoff-imprägnierte Natur- und synthetische Stoffe, Feinstverkapselungen in polymeren Stoffen und in Hüllmassen für Saatgut, ferner in Formulierungen mit Brennsätzen, wie Räucherpatronen, -dosen, -Spiralen u.ä. sowie ULV-Kalt- und Warmnebel-60 Formulierungen.
Diese Formulierungen werden in bekannter Weise hergestellt, z.B. durch Vermischen der Wirkstoffe mit Streckmitteln, also flüssigen Lösungsmitteln, unter Druck stehenden verflüssigten Gasen und/oder festen Trägerstoffen, gegebe-65 nenfalls unter Verwendung von oberflächenaktiven Mitteln, also Emulgiermitteln und/oder Dispergiermitteln und/oder schaumerzeugenden Mitteln. Im Falle der Benutzung von Wasser als Streckmittel können z.B. auch organische Lö
sungsmittel als Hilfslösungsmittel verwendet werden. Als flüssige Lösungsmittel kommen im wesentlichen in Frage: Aromaten, wie Xylol, Toluol, oder Alkylnaphthaline, chlorierte Aromaten oder chlorierte aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Chlorbenzole, Chloräthylene oder Methylenchlorid,«aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Cyclohexan oder Paraffine, z.B. Erdölfraktionen, Alkohole, wie Butanol oder Glykol sowie deren Äther und Ester, Ketone, wie Aceton, Methyläthylketon, Methylisobutylketon oder Cyclo-hexanon, stark polare Lösungsmittel, wie Dimethylform-amid und Dimethylsulfoxid, sowie Wasser; mit verflüssigten gasförmigen Streckmitteln oder Trägerstoffen sind solche Flüssigkeiten gemeint, welche bei normaler Temperatur und unter Normaldruck gasförmig sind, z.B. Aerosol-Treibgase, wie Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe sowie Butan, Propan, Stickstoff und Kohlendioxid; als feste Trägerstoffe: natürliche Gesteinsmehle, wie Kaoline, Tonerden, Talkum, Kreide, Quarz, Attapulgit, Montmorillonit oder Diatomeenerde und synthetische Gesteinsmehle, wie hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Aluminiumoxid und Silikate; als feste Trägerstoffe für Granulate: gebrochene und fraktionierte natürliche Gesteine wie Calcit, Marmor, Bims, Sepiolith, Dolomit sowie synthetische Granulate aus anorganischen und organischen Mehlen sowie Granulate aus organischem Material wie Sägemehl, Kokosnussschalen, Maiskolben und Tabakstengel; als Emulgier- und/oder schaumerzeugende Mittel: nicht-ionogene und anionische Emulgatoren, wie Polyoxyäthylen-Fettsäure-Ester, Polyoxyäthylen-Fettalkohol-Äther, z.B. Alkylaryl-polyglykol-äther, Alkylsulfonate, Alkylsulfate, Arylsulfonate sowie Eiweisshydrolysate; als Dispergiermittel: z.B. Lignin, Sulfitablaugen und Methylcellulose.
Es können in den Formulierungen Haftmittel wie Carb-oxymethylcellulose, natürliche und synthetische pulverige, körnige oder latexförmige Polymere verwendet werden, wie Gummiarabicum, Polyvinylalkohol, Polyvinylacetat.
Es können Farbstoffe wie anorganische Pigmente, z.B. Eisenoxid, Titanoxid, Ferrocyanblau und organische Farbstoffe, wie Alizarin-, Azo-Metallphthalocyaninfarbstoffe und Spurennährstoffe wie Salze von Eisen, Mangan, Bor, Kupfer, Kobalt, Molybdän und Zink verwendet werden.
Die Formulierungen enthalten im allgemeinen zwischen 0,1 und 95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5 und 90%.
Die Anwendung der erfindungsgemäss herstellbaren Wirkstoffe erfolgt beispielsweise in Form ihrer handelsüblichen Formulierungen und/oder den aus diesen Formulierungen bereiteten Anwendungsformen.
Der Wirkstoffgehalt der aus den handelsüblichen Formulierungen bereiteten Anwendungsformen kann in weiten Bereichen variieren. Die Wirkstoffkonzentration der Anwendungsformen kann von 0,0000001 bis zu 100 Gew.-% Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,01 und 10 Gew.-%, liegen.
Die Anwendung geschieht üblicherweise in einer den Anwendungsformen angepassten üblichen Weise.
Bei der Anwendung gegen Hygiene- und Vorratsschädlinge zeichnen sich die Wirkstoffe beispielsweise durch eine hervorragende Residualwirkung auf Holz und Ton sowie durch eine gute Alkalistabilität auf gekälkten Unterlagen aus.
Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren, ohne hinsichtlich seiner universellen Anwendbarkeit eine Beschränkung anzugeben. Soweit spektroskopische Daten angegeben werden, beziehen sie sich bei IR-Spektren auf charakteristische Absorptionsmaxima, bei NMR-Spek-tren beziehen sie sich zusätzlich auf Tetramethylsilan als inneren Standard.

Beispiel 1
Herstellung von 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(ß,ß-dichlorvinyl)-
cyclopropancarbonsäureäthylester 1,95 g (0,01 Mol) 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(ß,ß-dichlorvinyl)-cyclobutanon werden in 5 ml Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, der 5% Bromwasserstoff enthält, bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 1,6 g (0,01 Mol) Brom in 5 ml Tetrachlorkohlenstoff tropfenweise jeweils bis zur Entfärbung versetzt. Man rührt 2 Stunden nach, entfernt gebildeten Bromwasserstoff durch Durchleiten eines trockenen Stickstoffstroms und engt die Reäktionslösung ein. Der Rückstand wird in 15 ml absol. Äther aufgenommen und zu einer Suspension von 0,9 g Natriumäthylat in 10 ml absol. Äther unter Eiskühlung getropft. Man rührt 2 Stunden nach und lässt die Temperatur des Reaktionsgemisches auf 20 bis 25 °C ansteigen. Die alkalisch reagierende Lösung neutralisiert man mit äthanolischer Salzsäure und gibt anschliessend auf Eis. Extrahieren mit Äther, Klären der Ätherphase über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat und Einengen liefern nach fraktionierender Destillation 1,4 g (61%) farblosen Äthylester vom Sdp. 0 2_0,3 ' 75 bis 80 °C, laut NMR-Spektrum (CDC13) identisch mit einem aus 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(ß,ß-dichlorvinyl)-cyclopropancar-bonsäure über das Säurechlorid bereiteten Präparat.
Beispiel 2
Herstellung von 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(bromvinyl)-cyclopropancarbonsäureäthylester Zu der Lösung von 12,4 g (0,1 Mol) 2,2-Dimethyl-3-vi-nyl-cyclobutanon in 100 ml Tetrachlorkohlenstoff werden bei 10 °C 32,0 g (0,2 Mol) Brom in 40 ml Tetrachlorkohlen-stofFinnerhalb von 2 Stunden getropft. Man lässt 1 Stunde nachrühren, vertreibt gebildeten Bromwasserstoff mit Stickstoff, wäscht die Lösung nacheinander mit Wasser, 1 % wässriger Thiosulfatlösung und Wasser,- klärt über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat und engt im Vakuum ein. Ausbeute: 31,83 g IR (CC14): 1805 cm-1.

Die Lösung von 31,0 g 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(a,ß-dibrom-äthyl)-4-brom-cyclobutanon in 40 ml abs. Äthanol tropft man bei 0 bis 5 °C zu der Lösung von 4,6 g (0,2 Mol) Natrium in 70 ml abs. Äthanol und rührt 1 Stunde bei 40 bis 50 °C nach. Der abekühlten Lösung setzt man zur Neutralisation der überschüssigen Base äthanolische Salzsäure zu, filtriert abgeschiedenes Natriumbromid ab und engt ein. Fraktionierendes Destillieren liefert 2 Hauptfraktionen:
A. 7,55 g farbloses Öl vom Sdp. 0 2_0,3 53-58 °C IR (CCI4): 1725 cm-1 (Estercarbonyl)
NMR (CDCI3): Signale u.a. bei x = 4,45 (2 Vinyl-protonen), 5,85 (2 Methylenprotonen der Äthylgruppe), 8,70 (3 Methylprotonen), 8,80 (3 Methylprotonen), 8,74 (3-Methylprotonen der Äthylgruppe).

Herstellung von 3-(a,ß,ß-Trichlorvinyl)-spiro-[2,5]octan-2-carbonsäureäthylester Zu der Lösung von 1,07 g (0,0463 Mol) Natrium in 20 ml Äthanol werden innerhalb von 30 Minuten unter Rühren und fühlen bei 15-200 16,1 g (0,0463 Mol) 3-Brom-4-(a,ß,ß-trichlorvinyl)-spiro[3,5]nonanon-2 in 80 ml Äther zugetropft. Nach einstündigem Erhitzen zum Rückfluss giesst man das Reaktionsgemisch auf Eis und extrahiert mit Äther. Waschen der organischen Phase mit gesättigter Natriumbi-carbonatlösung und Wasser, Trocknen über Natriumsulfat und folgendes Einengen liefern 13,3 g Öl, das fraktionierend destilliert wird. Man erhält 11,3 g (78%) Äthylester vom Schmp-o 15 116°C, nD20 1,5125.

Beispiel 4
Herstellung von 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(a,ß,ß-trichlorvinyl)-
cyclopropancarbonsäureäthylester 7,66 g (0,025 Mol) 4-Brom-2,2-dimethyl-3-(a,ß,ß-tri-chlorvinyl)-cyclobutanon in 40 ml trockenem Äther werden bei 15 °C zu einer Suspension von 1,7 g (0,025 Mol) Natriumäthylat in 9 ml wasserfreiem Äthanol getropft. Man rührt 1 Stunde bei 15 °C nach und giesst auf Eis/In HCl. Man trennt die Phasen, wäscht die wässrige Phase zweimal mit Äther und die vereinigten Ätherextrakte anschliessend mit wässriger Natriumbicarbonatlösung und Wasser bis zur Neutralreaktion. Trocknen über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat liefert 5,94 g (87%) 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(a,ß,ß-trichloryinyl)-cyclopropancarbonsäureäthylester.
Sdp. 02 73 bis 74 °C nD20 1,4920.

NMR (CDCI3) 8 1,20 s (3H), 1,301 (3H, J = 7,5 Hz), 1,33 s (3H), 2,04 d (1H, J = 6 Hz), 2,45 d (1H, J = 6 Hz) und 4,19 ppm q (2H, J = 5 Hz).
Aus dem Bicarbonatextrakt gewinnt man durch Ansäuern mit 10% Salzsäure und Extrahieren mit Äther 0,9 g 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(a,ß,ß-trichlorvinyl-cyclopropancarbon-säure.

Beispiel 5
Herstellung von 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(a-brom-ß,ß-dichlorvinyl)-cyclopropancarbonsäureäthylester 1,95 g (0,01 Mol) 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(ß,ß-dichlorvinyl)-cy-clobutanon werden in 5 ml Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, der 5% Bromwasserstoff enthält, bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 3,2 g (0,02 Mol) Brom in 5 ml Tetrachlorkohlenstoff tropfenweise versetzt. Man rührt 6 Stunden nach, entfernt gebildeten Bromwasserstoff durch Durchleiten eines trockenen Stickstoffstroms und engt die Reaktionslösung ein. Der Rückstand, dessen NMR-Spektrum (CDC13) im Einklang mit der Bromierung der Dichlorvinylgruppe durch das zweite Moläquivalent Brom kein Signal für ein Vinylproton zeigt, wird in 30 ml Äther gelöst und zu der Lösung von 0,7 g (~ 0,03 Mol) Natrium in 30 ml abs. Äthanol bei 20 bis 25 °C getropft. Man lässt 1 Stunde bei 60 °C nachreagieren und arbeitet, wie für Beispiel 4 beschrieben, auf. 2,19 g (69%) 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(a-brom-ß,ß-dichlorvinyl)-cyclopro-pancarbonsäureäthylester vom Sdp. 03 85 bis 90 °C werden erhalten.
Berechnet: Br 25,3%

Beispiel 6
Herstellung von 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(a,ß,ß-trichlorvinyl)-
cyclopropancarbonsäure-m-phenoxybenzylester Zu der Lösung von 0,520 g (0,0226 Mol) Natrium in 10 ml abs. Äthanol gibt man unter Stickstoff 5,0 g (0,025 Mol) m-Phenoxybenzylalkohol und destilliert Äthanol im Vakuum ab. Den Rückstand versetzt man zweimal mit je 50 ml abs. Toluol und dampft im Vakuum zur Trockene. Zu der Suspension des resultierenden festen Rückstands in 30 ml abs. Toluol tropft man bei 15 °C 5,75 g (0,019 Mol) 4-Brom-2,2-dimethyl-3-(a,ß,ß-trichlorvinyl)-cyclobutanonin 20 ml abs. Toluol und rührt 6 Stunden bei 20 °C nach. Nach dünnschichtchromatischer Analyse ist vollständige Umsetzung eingetreten. Man gibt den Reaktionsansatz auf Eis/verdünnte Salzsäure, trennt die organische Phase ab, wäscht sie bis zur Neutralreaktion und filtriert sie über 100 g Kieselgel.
Ausbeute: 5,12 g (60%) 2,2-Dimethyl-3-(a,ß,ß-trichlorvi-nyl)-cyclopropancarbonsäure-m-phenoxybenzylester.

- 6314302PATENTANSPRÜCHE 1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von vinylsubstituierten Cyclopropancarbonsäureestem der allgemeinen Formel IR'/^\00R8R-in welcherR1, R2 und R3 gleich oder verschieden sind und für Wasserstoff, Halogen, CN, gegebenenfalls substituiertes Alkyl oder Alkenyl, gegebenenfalls substituiertes Cycloalkyl oder Cycloalkenyl, für Aralkyl, Aryl, Alkoxycarbonyl, Alkyl-sulfonyl, Arylsulfonyl, Acyloxy oder Dialkylaminocarbonyl stehen,R4, R5, R6 und R7 gleich oder verschieden sind und für Wasserstoff, gegebenenfalls substituiertes Alkyl oder Alkenyl, gegebenenfalls substituiertes Cycloalkyl oder Cycloalke nyl, für Halogen, CN, Aralkyl oder Aryl stehen, wobei jeweils die Reste R1 und R2, R2 und R3, R1 und R4, R4 und Rs, R4 und R7, R5 und R6 gemeinsam mit den angrenzenden Kohlenstoffatomen mehrgliedrige carbocyclische RingeHfr■4R RRHai 3mit bis zu 8 Ring C-Atomen bilden können, und R8 für den Rest eines Alkohols R8OH steht,dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man a-Halogencyclobutanone der allgemeinen Formel IIHai= 0 /R1 R*II15 in welcher die ResteR1 bis R7 die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben und Hai für Halogen steht, oder a-Halogencyclobutanone der Formel V20■- 25HaiR1= 0' 2 RHai R^in welcher der Rest R1Z für die GruppenHai^3 ' t .R R R-^Hal R3steht undR1 bis R7 die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben und Hai für Halogen steht,mit einem Alkoholat der allgemeinen Formel IIIM-O-R8 III,in welcherR8 die oben angegebene Bedeutung hat und M für ein Äquivalent eines Alkali- oder Erdalkalikations steht,umsetzt.
- 2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Umsetzung in Anwesenheit eines Verdünnungsmittels erfolgt.
- 3. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man vinylsubstituierte Cyclopropan-carbonsäureester der allgemeinen Formel I, in welcherR1 und R2 gleich oder verschieden sind und die in Anspruch 1 angegebene Bedeutung haben,40 R3 für Halogen, CN, C2_6-Alkyl oder substituiertes Cj_6-Alkyl steht, undR4 bis R8 die in Anspruch 1 angegebene Bedeutung haben,herstellt.45 4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man vinylsubstituierte Cyclopropan-carbonsäureester der allgemeinen Formel (I),in welcherR1 und R2 sowie R4 bis R8 die in Anspruch 1 angegebe-50 ne Bedeutung haben und R3 für Wasserstoff steht,herstellt.
