Abstract

The watch includes a main set of hands (2, 3), and an additional set (5, 6) mounted on an auxiliary plate (16). The watch has a setting wheel (7) which may adopt one of several positions. In addition to positions for setting the time and date, an additional position is provided to change the position of the second hour hand. This may be controlled by a spring and detent mechanism so that the hour hand may occupy one of the twelve available positions, at integer numbers of hour intervals away from the main hour hand setting.
