Abstract

The ring for a watch, and designed to be screwed onto a tube (5) in an inactive position, has an annular hollow or recess (2) defined in the ring by two cylindrical walls (3,4). A waterproof seal (8) of synthetic material is fitted into the recess, and is elastically and deformably supported by an annular piece comprising rigid cylindrical smooth material (7) which has one face by which it is held in the recess of the crown part. The synthetic material of the seal is fitted over the annular rigid piece in a manner to form a composite piece presenting at least one main face supported against one wall of the recess and one face against the extremity of the tube (5) in a screwed position w.r.t. the ring.
