Abstract

The clock mechanism permits the display of visible indications across one or several windows of the dial or face of the time-piece to indicate if the watch is operating before or after midday (AM or PM). The mechanism has an oscillating disc which moves between two stable positions, and carries indications an is operated by a pivoting element operated by a moving part which makes one turn or rotation every twenty four hours. The pivoting element comprises a rocking element which acts on a disc at a point (D1) located between the centre of rotation of the disc and the point of pivoting of te rocking element. The latter is governed by a spring (S) which causes its instantaneous displacement towards one or other of the end positions and immobilises or holds the rocking element and the disc in these positions. The rocking element has a point which cooperates with two planes inclined to the spring and opening of the pin (C) passing through the opening of the disc which has a greater diameter than the pin in order to displace the disc in operation on the wall faces of the opening.
