Pince universelle.
Universal pliers. This invention relates to a universal pliers bringing together in a single tool: a round pliers, a flat pliers, a FL gas pliers and a cutting pliers. This clamp is. characterized in that it comprises four jaws coupled to, two and which can be arranged relative to the handle (the fawn to be brought, at will and temporarily; one oci the other closed couples in working position.
In the accompanying drawing which, by way of example, represents an embodiment of this clamp: FIG. 1 is. a front view; and Fig. 2 a side view (the clamp mounted: Fig. 3 is a view in elevation closed jaws only.
The clamp shown is formed by two similar branches A and 13, mounted in scissors and articulated to each other by an axis formed by a rivet. The two corresponding ca <I> b </I> of these branches form a flat gripper, the other two jaws <I> a '</I> and <I>, </I> b' consfilate a round gripper. The flat pliers have a serrated opening <I> II, </I> forming a gas pliers, and the other pliers have a cutting part E.
Two branches F and. G, symmetrical with respect to their longitudinal axis, are. articulated on the same rivet C which forms a pivot for the jaws, to serve as a handle for the pliers.
These branches are provided with <B> <I> f </I> g, </B> staves against which they abut, or the jaws <I> a b, </I> if you want. use jaws 'b', or jaws a 'b', if you want to use, either the flat pliers ca <I> b, </I> or the gas pliers 1).
In order to allow the automatic opening of the jaws, their hubs are chambered to contain a spring 11, the branches of which act on the jaws to keep them apart. The clamp 1) and the clamp E could naturally be interchanged. Instead (you rivet C, a bolt could be used. Finally, it would be possible to apply to parallel grippers the characteristic arrangements of the present invention.
