Description
Schienenstossverbindnng. Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfin dung bildet eine Schienenstossverbindung.
Die beiliegende Zeichnung veranschaulicht den Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispiels weisen Ausführungsform, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 eilte Seitenansicht eines Schienen stosses mit im Schnitt eingezeichneter Deck platte, Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt nach der Linie A-B der Fig. 1, Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht der Fig. 1.
Eine in der Längsrichtung leicht gewölbte Deckplatte a ist über der Fuge e zweier Schienenenden so angeordnet, dass dieselben beiderends in Ausfräsungen b, b' der Schienen kopfenden eingeschoben werden kann. Die Deckplatte a ist an beiden Schienen enden mittelst je einer Schraube c, c' fest gemacht.
Die Zwischenräume d, <I>d'</I> zwischen der Deckplatte und den Ausfräsungen der Schienenenden entsprechen dem Raume der Fuge e des Schienenstosses, um bei Ausdeh- nungen des Materials Kletnmungen vorzu beugen. Die Deckplatte besitzt ferner je zwei Ausnehmungen f, f', bezw.g.,g'., durch welche das Absprengen der Scbraubenköpfe bei Aus dehnung oder Zusammenziehen des Materials vermieden wird.
Durch die Anordnung eitler solchen Deckplatte soll erreicht werden, dass die Schienenkopfenden beim Auflaufen der Räder nicht abgestumpft werden und der Überlauf über den Schienenstoss ein ruhiger wird.

The accompanying drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention in an exemplary embodiment, namely: Fig. 1 is a hasty side view of a rail joint with a cover plate drawn in section, Fig. 2 is a cross-section along the line AB of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a plan view of Fig. 1.
A cover plate a, which is slightly curved in the longitudinal direction, is arranged over the joint e of two rail ends in such a way that the same can be inserted at both ends into cutouts b, b 'of the rail head ends. The cover plate a is fixed at both ends of the rails by means of a screw c, c '.
The spaces d, <I> d '</I> between the cover plate and the milled-out portions of the rail ends correspond to the space of the joint e of the rail joint, in order to prevent pinching when the material expands. The cover plate also has two recesses f, f ', respectively g', through which the screw heads are prevented from breaking off when the material is expanded or contracted.
The arrangement of such a cover plate is intended to ensure that the ends of the rail heads are not blunted when the wheels run into place and that the overflow over the rail joint is smooth.
