Description
Kaffeepräparat und Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Kaffeepräparat, das aus einer in fester Form befindlichen Mischung von Kaffeesub stanz in zerteilter Form und gebranntem Zucker besteht. Ein solches Präparat ist so fort gebrauchsbereit, indem sich aus demsel ben durch Auflösen in heissem Wasser ohne weitere Zusätze das Kaffeegetränk von rich tiger dunkelbrauner Farbe herstellen lässt.
Die Herstellung kann zum Beispiel in der Weise erfolgen, dass Zucker zwecks Caramel- bildung erhitzt wird, worauf dem dunkelbraun gebrannten Zucker in dessem Schmelzzustande gerösteter und gemahlener Kaffee beigemischt und diese Mischung nach Erstarren zerklei nert und in Pulverform in den Handel ge bracht wird.
Ein solches Präparat kann aber auch da durch erhalten werden, dass Zucker zwecks Caramelbildung erhitzt wird, rohe Kaffeeboh nen in der Zuckerschmelze geröstet werden und nach Entfernung der gerösteten Bohnen die Zuckerschmelze mit der in sie überge gangenen Kaffeesubstanz, nämlich Schalen teilen und flüchtigen Bestandteilen, erstarren gelassen und hierauf zerkleinert wird. Ein solches Präparat liefert erfahrungsgemäss, mit heissem Wasser emulgiert, ein gutes Kaffee getränk von richtiger Farbe.
Coffee preparation and process for its manufacture. The present invention is a coffee preparation that consists of a solid mixture of coffee substance in divided form and burnt sugar. Such a preparation is immediately ready for use by dissolving it in hot water without any further additives to make the coffee drink of the correct dark brown color.
It can be produced, for example, by heating sugar to form caramel, whereupon roasted and ground coffee is added to the melted dark brown sugar and this mixture is crushed after it has solidified and sold in powder form.
Such a preparation can also be obtained by heating sugar for the purpose of caramel formation, roasting raw coffee beans in the sugar melt and, after removing the roasted beans, solidifying the sugar melt with the coffee substance that has passed into it, namely shells and volatile components left and then crushed. Experience has shown that such a preparation, emulsified with hot water, provides a good coffee drink of the right color.
