  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines blauen     Schwetelfarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    sich das aus       p-Aminophenol    einerseits und     Tetrahydro-a-          naphtylamin    anderseits nach den üblichen  Verfahren erhältliche     Leul,-oindophenol    durch       Versglimelzen        mit    Schwefel und Schwefel  alkali in einen blauen Schwefelfarbstoff über  führen     lässt.     



  Im getrockneten Zustand ist der Farbstoff  ein dunkelblaues Pulver, das in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe löslich ist.  Er färbt aus der     HydrosLilfitküpe    Baumwolle  kochecht blau.    <I>Beispiel:</I>         25,5    Teile     Leukoindophenol    aus     p-Amino-          phenol    und     Tetrahydro-a-naphtylamin    werden  mit<B>70</B> Teilen pulverisiertem Schwefel und  <B>85</B> Teilen     calciniertem,    Schwefelnatrium in  <B>300</B> Teilen Alkohol während<B>70 - 80</B>     Stu        nden     unter     Rückfluss    und Rühren zum Kochen  erhitzt.

   Danach destilliert man den Alkohol  ab, nimmt die Schmelze mit heissem Wasser  auf, saugt ab und wäscht nach, bis     das    Fil-    trat farblos abläuft. Der zurückbleibende Farb  stoff enthält     ineist    noch feinverteilten Schwefel  beigemischt, von dem er durch Auskochen       ZD     mit geringen Mengen     Schwefelnati-jurn    oder       Solvent-Naplita    oder ähnlichen     U;sungsmit-          teln    für Schwefel befreit werden kann.
