Description
verfahren zur Herstellung eines stickstoffhaltigen Düngemittels. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines stick stoffhaltigen Düngemittels und besteht darin, dass man Schwefelverbindungen des Cal ciums mit kohlenstoffhaltigen Stoffen mischt, auf 1000-1300' C erhitzt -und in das Ge misch Stickstoff einleitet.
Statt 'reinen Stickstoff lassen sich auch stickstoffhaltige Gasgemische einleiten. Zweekmässigerweise mischt man die Schwefel verbindungen des Calciums, z. B. Gips, und die kohlenstoffhaltigen Stoffe in fein ge mahlener Form, bringt sie in Retorten oder brikettiert und erhitzt alsdann unter Zulei tung des Stickstoffes, bezw. des stickstoff haltigen Gasgemisches.
Bei der Bildung von Ca -i- 0 zu CaO werden 145 Cal. durch 56 gr CaO frei (1000 gr CaO geben 2589 Cal.), bei der Bildung von Ca -I- S zu CaS werden 90,8 Cal. durch 72 gr CaS oder durch 1000 gr CaS rund 1261 Cal. frei;
es ergibt sich theo retisch, dass für die Zersetzung von CaS zu Ca -I- S eine Temperatur von etwa<B>19-00'</B> aus reicht.
Zur Beschleunigung der Reaktion kann man dem Gemisch Halogene, z. B. Chloride und auch Karbonate, Oxyde und sauerstoff haltige Salze der Alkalien, alkalischen Erden und Erdmetalle zusetzen, welche Stoffe ka talytisch wirken. Im allgemeinen werden aber die natürlichen Verunreinigungen im Gips und Koks genügen, um die Umwandlung der Sulfate in Cyanamid und Cyanid zu be wirken.
Der bei der Zersetzung frei werdende Schwefel geht teils als molekularer Schwefel weg, teils bildet er mit dem Kohlenstoff- überschuss Schwefelkohlenstoff. Beide lassen sich nach den üblichen Methoden in reiner Form gewinnen.
Die Kohlensäure, welche durch den über schüssigen Stickstoff verunreinigt ist, lässt sich ebenfalls nach den üblichen Verfahren rein herstellen und für die verschiedensten technischen Zwecke verwenden.

The carbonic acid, which is contaminated by the excess nitrogen, can also be produced in pure form by the usual methods and used for a wide variety of technical purposes.
