Une forme d'exécution de la présente in vention est, à titre d'exemple seulement, il lustrée par des dessins annexés, dans -les quels La fig. 1 montre l'appareil pèse-grainà ensachage automatique, en élévation longi tudinale dans la position de travail, c'est-à- dire lorsque les portes de coulée sont main tenues ouvertes pour permettre la coulée du grain; La fig. 2 montre une élévation d'extré mité de l'appareil dans la même position que celle illustrée par la fig. 1, une des extrémi tés de la caisse ayant été omise pour plus de clarté;
Afin d'obtenir la pe sée avec toute la précision voulue, un dis positif comportant une flèche fixe 96 fixée à la caisse 8, et une flèche mobile 97 capable d'osciller autour d'un pivot 98 fixé à la caisse 8, permet de vérifier l'aplomb de l'appareil. Le fonctionnement du pèse-grain à ensachage automatique d'après la présente invention est des plus simples : après avoir attaché un sac au tambour 1, il suffit de tirer sur la chaîne 29 au moyen de la poignée 30 pour ouvrir les portes de grande et de petite cou lée afin de permettre la coulée du grain;
Automatic bagging grain scale. The present invention relates to an automatic bagging grain scale. In this apparatus, comprising a suitable rocker, the flow of the grain is controlled by two large flow doors in the form of a sector mounted on a common axis and one of which has an orifice of reduced dimensions, and by a small flow door likely to hide said orifice and mounted on pivots provided on the lateral sectors of the corresponding large casting door.
An appropriate mechanism, actuated by simply pulling on a chain, makes it possible to open the three casting doors at the desired time and to perform the engagement of heels with which these doors are provided by hooks provided at the ends of appropriately counterweight levers. arranged so as to maintain said doors in the open position. The counterweight levers retaining the doors in the open position are triggered when two hammers fall successively which are placed in the armed position, when the doors are opened, by means of a member integral with the mechanism opening of the latter, and are normally retained in this position by two adjustable compensators.
These compensators, which form one of the main elements of the apparatus "object of the invention, are" influenced by the movements of the rocker so as to first release the hammer which, when falling, triggers the levers holding the doors open. large casting, and then the one that triggers the lever holding open the small casting door; the compensators in question are arranged so that the closing of the large casting doors is triggered in this way when the acquired weight is close to being obtained and that of the small casting door at the precise moment when the falling grain column suffices to add exactly the desired weight. Each weighing performed is recorded by a device provided for this purpose.
One embodiment of the present invention is, by way of example only, it illustrated by the accompanying drawings, in which FIG. 1 shows the automatic bagging grain weighing machine, in longitudinal elevation in the working position, that is to say when the pouring doors are kept open to allow pouring of the material. grain; Fig. 2 shows an end elevation of the apparatus in the same position as that illustrated in FIG. 1, one end of the body having been omitted for clarity;
Fig. 3 shows the apparatus in plan in the same position as that illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the upper side of the body having been omitted FIG. 4 illustrates the same grain-weighing apparatus in longitudinal elevation in the resting position, that is to say when the grain discharge doors are closed and the weight obtained in FIG. 5 illustrates in detail the interior side of the large pour door in which a small pour hole is provided.
Referring to the drawings, 1 denotes a drum, to which a lever belt 2 enables the bags to be secured. Internally, the drum 1 is crossed by a diametral cross member 3 to which are attached by means of bolts links 4 through which the drum is suspended from two clevis hooks 5 which are in turn suspended in the center. two longitudinal members of a bridge 6. This bridge 6 forms the lever with equal arms, one end of which is suspended from a ring 7 fixed to the body 8 enclosing the device by means of a split link 9, while the other end influences, via a connecting flange 10, one of the ends of the beam 11 of the rocker.
The beam 11 forms a lever with unequal arms having its point of support at 12 and the lengths of the arms formed respectively by the distance between the point of support and the point of application of the load via the flange 10 and the distance between the fulcrum and the point of application and the resistance are in the proportion of 1 to 5.
The resistance is formed by the weights suspended from the stirrup 13, which is loaded with 1/10 of the weight to be balanced, and which is in turn suspended from the corresponding end of the beam 11 by means of a clamp binding 14; the stirrup 13 is guided in a support 15 fixed to the body 8 and is provided at its upper part with an oscillating heel 16 which, in conjunction with the support 15, allows the support of the weight without fear of damaging the knife suspension and prevents the overhang or jamming of the beam in all positions of the device.
The end of the longer arm of the beam 11 is provided with an index 17, which, in conjunction with a second index 18 attached to the body 8, makes it possible to realize that the weighing has been completed. All the suspension or articulation points of the rocker are made by knives, and a mobile counterweight 19 which can slide on a graduated rule 20 fixed to the beam 11 makes it possible to tare empty bags.
The box 8 containing the apparatus is hooked to the grain tank, and the grain of the tiné to fill the bags flows by means of a hopper 21. The pouring orifice of this hopper 21 is closed by two doors cylin driques or leaves 22 said doors of large casting and mounted on a common axis 23. In one of the doors 22 (see fig. 5) is provided an orifice 24 which can be closed by means of a so-called small casting door 25, and a plate 26 capable of sliding against the inner face of the large casting door provided with the orifice 24, and being able to be fixed in position by means of two screws 27, makes it possible to adjust the dimensions of the orifice 24 according to the density or quality of the grain to be weighed.
The small casting door 25 is mounted on pivots 28 provided on the sectors or side faces of the corresponding large casting door 22 and whose axis is eccentric by a certain distance from the axis 23 of the doors 22 so that, tan say that the small casting door 25 fits tightly against the orifice 24 when it is closed, when it is opened this small door 25 gradually moves away from the door 22 due to the eccentricity of the axis 28 relative to the axis 23, so that any corner cementing due to obstacles likely to oppose. the closing of the small casting door 25 is avoided.
The mechanism for opening casting doors comprises a traction chain 29 provided with a handle 30 and attached to the free end of a lever 31 mounted on a transverse axis 32 capable of rotating in two supports 33 fixed to the upper side of the body 8. A lever 34 oscillating at point 35 in a support 36 fixed to the upper side of the body 8 is arranged so that its free end, provided with a roller 37 comes into contact with the lever 31 when the latter is lowered, the other end of said lever 34 being connected by means of a pivot 38 to a cross member 39,
the two ends of which are crossed by two vertical rods 40 which are at their lower ends connected by pivots 41 to the doors 22 and are at their upper ends fitted with dirty transverse stop rods 42. When traction is exerted on the handle 30 of the chain 29 in order to open the casting doors, the lever 31 while lowering will cause the lever 34 to oscillate, which in turn will raise the cross member 39, and the latter ,. by the abutment of its ends against the transverse rods 42; will drive the vertical rods 40 and in this way open the grain casting doors.
The position taken by the parts of the gate opening mechanism when the lever 31 is lowered by pulling on the chain 29 is shown in dotted lines in Fig. 1. On the transverse axis 32 is also found ri gidement fixed a rod 43 provided at its lower part with a transverse bar 44 and subjected to the action of a leaf spring 45.
The lowering of the lever 31 will therefore also cause, following the rotation of the axis 32, the displacement of the rod 43 and of the bar 44, which will therefore come to be placed in the position shown in dotted lines in FIG. 1, but the spring 45 tends to return the rod 43, and at the same time the opening mechanism of the casting doors, to their initial position as soon as the traction on the chain 29 ceases.
The large casting doors 22 are, on their front lateral sectors, provided with heels 46 which, when said doors are opened, are engaged by hooks 47 with which they are fitted. levers 48 mounted rigidly on an axis 49 supported in bearings 50 fixed to the hopper 21 and which also carries a rod provided with a counterweight 51, the latter tending to hold the hooks 47 of the levers 48 by hand in a position of engagement with the heels 46 of the doors 22 when the latter are open, so that they can only be closed when the hooks 47 release the heels 46.
The small casting door is also provided with a heel 52 which is, when said door 25 is open, retained by a hook 53 at the end of a lever arm 54 which is mounted on a pivot 55 in a support. 56 fixed to the hopper 21, the lever arm 54 being at its lower part provided with a counterweight 57 which tends to maintain the hook 53 in the position where it retains the heel 52 and keeps open the small casting door 25.
During the movement of the transverse cross bar 44 obtained by lowering the lever 31, said bar 44 comes into contact with the rods of a large hammer 58 and a small hammer 59, the hammer 58 being mounted at its lower part. on a pivot 60 held in a support 61, while the hammer 59 is at its lower end mounted on a pivot 62 held in a support 63. The large hammer 58 is arranged so that when it falls, it strikes on a lever 64 rigidly fixed on the axis 49 of the levers which hold the large casting doors 22 open and in this way causes a movement of the levers 48 and of their hooks 47 which has the effect of releasing the heels 46 and allowing the closing of large casting doors 22.
Likewise, the small hammer 59 is arranged so that, when it falls, it strikes on a lever arm 65 integral with the lever 54 which maintains the small door 25 open and thereby causes the hook 53 to be withdrawn. has the effect of releasing the heel- 52 and allowing the closing of the small casting door 25.
The hammers 58 and 59 are, behind and below their mass, provided with hook heels 66 and 67 respectively, which, when the hammers are in the armed position where they are placed by the movement of the crossbar 44 when the lever 31 is lowered for the opening of the casting doors, are retained by compensators influenced by the movement of the flail 11.
Each of the compensators has three arms, the three arms 68, 69 and 70 of the compensator of the large hammer 58 being rigidly mounted on a common axis 74 which can pivot in a support î5 fixed to </ B > the body 8, while the three arms 71, 72 and 73 of the compensator of the small hammer 59 are fixed rigidly on a common axis 76 pivotally mounted in a support 77 also fixed to the body 8. The arms 69 and 72 of the compensators are provided at their free ends with rollers 78 and 79 respectively which are, as a result of the action of counterweight 80 and 81 respectively provided on the arms 70 and 73 maintained in contact with the lower side of the long arm of the beam 11 .
The arms 68 and 71- of said compensators have their upper ends constituted by latches 82 which are placed in front of the hook heels 66 and 67 of the hammers 58 and 59 when the beam 11 is lowered, but withdraw so as to release said heels to hooks 66 and 67 and thus to allow the fall of the hammers when the long arm of the flail 11 approaches the horizontal, that is to say to the position of equilibrium, allowing both the rise of the rollers 78 and 79 .
The upper ends of the arms 68 and 71 of the compensators are also provided with stop screws 83 for the rods of the hammers 58 and 59, and adjustment and the counterweights 80 and 81 on the arms 70 and 73 are movable in order to allow the adjustment. the action of the compensators, the latter being arranged and adjusted so that the latch 82 of the arm 68 releases the hook 66 and allows the fall of the large hammer 58 when the greater part of the required weight is obtained,
while the pawl 82 of the arm 71 disengages the hook 67 and allows the fall of the small hammer 59 at the precise moment when the column of grain being dropped through the small casting orifice 24 is sufficient to complete the weighing. In other words, the compensators are adjusted so that it is necessary for the long arm of the flail 11 to have effected the greater part of its return stroke to equilibrium for the roller 78 to be able to rise. enough to allow the fall of the hammer 58, and that it has, so to speak, reached its equilibrium position so that the roller 79 can rise sufficiently to allow the fall of the hammer 59.
Stops 81 and 85 are provided respectively for the ends of the arms 70 and 73 of the compensators in order to limit the movement of the latter. The rollers 78 and 79 at the ends of the respective arms 69 and 72 are intended to prevent friction and wear on the beam 11, and to obtain a smoother and more regular movement. A counter 86 is fixed on the box 8 to mark the number of bags weighed, and this counter marks one unit at each oscillation of a horizontal bar 87 which crosses it. A lever 88, mounted on a pivot 89 fixed to the body and provided with a hook 90 at its upper end and a counterweight 91 at its lower end normally maintains, thanks to said hook 90, the bar 87 of the counter in the horizontal position.
The end of the bar 87 of the meter, opposite to that which is retained by the hook 90, is provided with a vertical bar or rod 92 which is riveted therein at its upper part and which is at its lower end provided with a stop piece 93 which rests on a heel 94 integral with the small casting door 25 when the latter is in the open position. A cam 95 provided at the end of an extension of the axis 76 of the small compensator is arranged so as to act on the lower end of the lever 88 to trigger the hook 90 which retains the bar 87 of the counter at the moment when the small compensator allows the fall of the small hammer 59 and the consequent closing of the small casting door 25.
At this moment, the bar 87 no longer being retained by the hook 90, it can oscillate and the counter can score. When the doors are again opened, the heel 94 of the small casting door 25, coming into contact with the stop piece 93 of the rod 92, returns the bar 87 of the counter to the horizontal position where its free end is. again retained by the safety hook 90 of the lever 88.
It can therefore be seen that the safety hook 90 will prevent the counter 86 from marking until the moment when this hook is triggered by the cam 95 on the axis 76 of the small compensator, that is to say until moment when the small compensator will allow the fall of the small hammer 59 and the closing of the small casting door 25, which only occurs when the weight is obtained, because the position of the cam 95 on the axis 76 of the small compensator is such that the safety hook 90 will not be triggered by said cam until the flail 11, on reaching the equilibrium position, will have allowed the small compensator to cause the closing of the small casting door.
In order to obtain the weighing with all the desired precision, a positive device comprising a fixed boom 96 fixed to the body 8, and a movable boom 97 capable of oscillating around a pivot 98 fixed to the body 8, makes it possible to check the plumbness of the appliance. The operation of the automatic bagging grain scale according to the present invention is very simple: after having attached a bag to the drum 1, it suffices to pull on the chain 29 by means of the handle 30 to open the doors wide and wide. small neck to allow grain to flow;
when the required weight is close to being obtained, the large pour doors close automatically, while the small pour hole remains open to allow the amount of grain needed to complete the weighing to flow, then, when the required weight is obtained, the small casting door also closes automatically, while at the same time the counter records the weighing.
It should be noted that in the free equilibrium position the rocker is entirely independent of the opening and closing mechanisms of the casting doors, which makes it possible to verify the accuracy of the weight.
It should be understood that the invention is not limited either in its scope or in its spirit by the details of execution illustrated by the accompanying drawings.
