Magnéto pour -véhicule. La présente invention se rapporte à une magnéto pour véhicule (par exemple bicyclette, motocyclette, automobile). Cette magnéto com prend un carter monté rotativement sur le véhicule et qu'un ressort tend à faire'tourner pour le rapprocher de l'une des roues; un dispositif permettant soit de laisser le carter se rapprocher de la roue soit de le maintenir éloigné de celle-ci à l'encontre dudit ressort;
Un ressort f, logé dans la calotte in férieure al et prenant appui, d'une part, sur la tige b; d'autre part, sur cette calotte, tend à faire tourner le carter a autour de la tige de façon à amener le disque e en contact avec la roue: A l'extrémité de la tige b est fixée la butée g (fig. 3 et 4) contre laquelle appuie, sous l'action du ressortf, le manchonh porté par une petite tigehl fixée à la calottea': Ce manchon présente à sa périphérie un renforcement circulaire il, suivi-d'un-renfonce- ment également circulaire i qui, tous deux, sont destinés à coopérer avec la butée ,g; il est monté sur la tige hl de façon à pouvoir coulisser longitudinalement sur elle;
Magneto for -vehicle. The present invention relates to a magneto for a vehicle (eg bicycle, motorcycle, automobile). This magneto com takes a casing rotatably mounted on the vehicle and which a spring tends to turn to bring it closer to one of the wheels; a device making it possible either to allow the casing to move closer to the wheel or to keep it away from the latter against said spring;
it is characterized in that this device comprises two members, namely a stopper and a sliding sleeve which has a reinforcement and a peripheral recess, one of these members being carried by the housing so that the aforementioned spring l ' constantly applies against the other which is fixed relative to the frame, the spring bringing the casing closer to the wheel or not, depending on whether, according to the position of the sliding sleeve, the stop presses in the recess or on the reinforcement of this sleeve.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention, intended to be mounted on a bicycle for lighting.
Fig. 1 the watch mounted on the bicycle; fig. 2 is a partial plan; Fig.3 shows a detail; fig.4 is a section through IV-IV of fig. 3; fig. 5 shows another detail.
The magneto shown comprises a housing a mounted rotatably on a rod b that two flanges c and four nuts d allow to fix to the frame of the bicycle. The casing is formed of two caps a.1 and a median cylindrical sleeve a '; the upper cap is extended into a bearing in which the end of the rotor shaft rotates, its end carrying a disc e intended to come into contact with the tire of the wheel.
A spring f, housed in the lower cap al and bearing, on the one hand, on the rod b; on the other hand, on this cap, tends to make the housing a turn around the rod so as to bring the disc e into contact with the wheel: At the end of the rod b is fixed the stop g (fig. 3 and 4) against which, under the action of the spring f, the sleeve h carried by a small rod hl fixed to the cap < I> a ': This sleeve has at its periphery a circular reinforcement il, followed by a also circular recess i which, both, are intended to cooperate with the stop, g; it is mounted on the rod hl so as to be able to slide longitudinally on it;
a res out k constantly tends to move it away from the wall of the housing and to maintain it in the position shown in FIG. 3, in which the reinforcement it presses against the stop g; the disk e is then moved away from the wheel.
Pont put it in contact with the latter, it suffices to push the sleeve h with your finger towards the cap al, against the spring k, until the stop g arrives in front of the recess i =; the spring f then turns the casing a around the rod b, so as to make the stop g penetrate into the recess i2; this rotational movement is sufficient to bring the disk e into engagement with the wheel.
To disengage the magneto, the housing is gripped by hand and rotated, against the spring f, until the stop y / has come out of the recess i2; the spring k then returns the sleeve h to the position shown in FIG. 3, for which the stop g presses on the reinforcement there.
The stop g could be mounted on a fixed part other than the rod b; it could even be carried by the magneto housing; then it would be the sleeve h which would be mounted on a part fixed relative to the frame.
The two flanges c can slide on the rod b, the end of which is threaded and carries two tightening nuts d; this end also has a groove b1 in which the tongues cl carried by the flanges c (fig. 5) engage; in this way, when the latter are fixed by the nuts d on a branch of the fork, the shaft b carried by the flanges cannot turn in them.
