Abstract

unidad de siembra que comprende: - Parte superior y parte inferior, donde la parte inferior se coloca contra el terreno; - Material absorbente de agua que por exposición a la humedad permite que una plántula germinante penetre; - Envoltura que encierra el material que absorbe agua, donde al menos la parte de la envoltura que encierra la parte inferior está hecha de un material que se descompone en agua; y - Al menos una semilla Donde la unidad de siembra está dispuesta de tal modo que - La semilla está ubicada en una cavidad o en contacto con o embebido dentro del material absorbente de agua en la parte inferior de la unidad, y - El material absorbente de agua forma un cuerpo de tamaño y forma que cuando la unidad se coloca sobre el terreno con la parte inferior hacia abajo, la semilla y el terreno se encuentran cubiertos por el material absorbente de agua dentro de al menos 1 cm del radio de la semilla; Donde el material absorbente de agua comprende: Un material higroscópico cargado negativamente capaz de unir un ion nutriente cargado positivamente (K+, NH4+, L-arginina, L-lisina y L-histidina).
