Abstract

<p>Método para modernizar un extremo frontal de una planta de amoniaco, siendo que dicho extremo frontal entrega un gas producto para la síntesis del amoniaco, que comprende: una sección de reforma (1, 2), que comprende un primer reformador de aire despedido o un reformador auto-térmico (2), que opera a una presión del extremo frontal; una sección de tratamiento (3) del efluente desde dicha sección de reforma; un compresor de alimentación (6), configurado originalmente para alimentar aire a ser usada como oxidante, a dicha sección de reforma; CARACTERIZADO porque comprende los pasos de: una corriente que contiene 02 (8) usada como oxidante, es dirigida a dicha sección de reforma (2) al menos una corriente de nitrógeno (9) es introducida en un lugar adecuado del extremo frontal, para proporcionar una proporción molar deseada entre el hidrógeno y el nitrógeno en el gas producto, y al menos una parte de dicha corriente de nitrógeno (9) es comprimida mediante dicho compresor de alimentación (6)</p>
