Abstract
<p>Método para aumentar el contenido de proteína en una célula eucariótica que comprende un gen NF—YC4 que comprende modificar el sitio de unión para el represor transcnpcional; el método para producir una planta con contenido de proteina aumentado que comprende cruzar y seleccionar el contenido de proteina aumentado; el método para aumentar Ia resistencia a un patógeno o una plaga en una planta que comprende el gen NF—YC4 que comprende modificar el sitio de unión para el represor transcripcional, solo o además en combinación con expresar QQS en Ia planta; el método para producir una planta con resistencia aumentada frente a un patôgeno o plaga que comprende cruzar y seleccionar para Ia resistencia aumentada al patógeno o a Ia plaga; una célula, colección de células, tejido, órgano, u organismo, donde el gen NF—YC4 comprende un promotor que comprende un sitio de unión para un represor transcripcional que ha sido modificado de modo que el represor transcripcional no puede prevenir Ia transcripción de NF—YC4; de híbridos de plantas; y sus semillas.</p>
