Abstract
<p>La presente invención provee un método para fundir chatarra de cobre y/o para refinar el cobre blíster (afino), que comprende las etapas de: (a) cargar la chatarra de cobre en un horno anódico vacío y fundir la chatarra de cobre; (b) cargar el cobre blíster fundido en el horno anódico; (c) opcionalmente cargar más chatarra de cobre en el horno anódico y fundir la chatarra de cobre; (d) opcionalmente repetir las etapas (b) y/o (c) una o más veces hasta que el horno anódico este lleno y se haya cargado y fundido una cantidad deseada de chatarra de cobre y hasta que se obtenga una tanda de cobre final; y (e) refinar la tanda final de cobre para obtener cobre anódico.</p>
