LA INVENCIÓN RELACIONA UNA QUÍMICA DE POLÍMEROS, ESPECIFICAMENTE A POLÍMEROS SORBENTES DESTINADO A LA ELIMINACIÓN SELECTIVA DE CITOQUINAS Y ENDOTOXINAS BACTERIANAS DE LA SANGRE Y OTROS FLUIDOS CORPORALES, EN PARTICULAS PLASMA SANGUÍNEO, LINFA, ETC., DE IGUAL MANERA QUE DE SOLUCIONES ACUOSAS PROTÉICAS Y SOLUCIONES ACOSAS DE COMPUESTOS ORGÁNICOS, QUE TAMBIÉN CONTENGAN SALES INORGÁNICAS, ASÍ COMO UN MÉTODO DE PRODUCCIÓN DE DICHOS MATERIALES DE SORBCIÓN PROCESANDO LÍQUIDOS USANDO DICHOS POLÍMEROS SORBENTES. EL RESULTADO TÉCNICO CONSISTE EN PROVEER UN SORBENTE QUE ES CAPAZ DE REMOVER TANTO CITOQUINAS COMO ENDOTOXINAS BACTERIANAS, EN MEJORAR LA SELECTIVIDAD DE LOS POLÍMEROS SORBENTES CON RESPECTO A LOS COMPUESTOS ASÍ COMO EN PROVEER UN MÉTODO SIMPLE Y EFECTIVO DE PRODUCIR DICHO SORBENTE.
