Abstract
Dispositivo y método para detectar la ruptura de la película lagrimal, que comprende una placa translúcida retroiluminada que tiene un gráfico de prueba (10) posicionado frente a al menos un ojo (101) de un paciente (100) y que tiene un patrón que se refleja en el ojo del paciente; y al menos una cámara fotográfica digital (21, 22) conectada a un sistema informático (30) provisto de medios de procesamiento y análisis de imágenes, una lente de la cámara apuntando hacia el ojo del paciente para fotografiar un reflejo del patrón del gráfico de prueba (10) en el ojo del paciente, donde el gráfico de prueba (10) tiene una serie de líneas en forma de líneas alternas horizontales o verticales transparentes y opacas (12) que forman el patrón y al menos una abertura frente a la lente de la cámara.
