包装衬垫材料通过下列步骤回收:干燥废弃的共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体,粉碎干燥的泡沫体;熔融该粉碎的泡沫体;使熔融的泡沫体形成坯料,挤塑该坯料;将挤塑物切成粒料。该粒料可在160—200℃的温度下经注塑成为制品。

发明领域
本发明涉及包装衬垫材料的回收,例如形成PS(聚苯乙烯)泡沫体的材料或形成PE(聚乙烯)加上PS的共聚合材料。
现有技术描述
目前环境污染形成了一个严重的问题,因此人们非常重视如何有效地收集用过的包装衬垫材料并为了环保的目的处理绝大部分回收的材料或制品,其方法是降低原来打算被掩埋或焚烧的合成包装材料的量以及节省用于制造新塑料制品的自然资源。
一般而言,只有废弃的PS被收集和回收并与新的高质量聚苯乙烯(HIPS)混合起来制成窗子和画框。然而在回收中其它的包装衬垫材料像共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体和PE泡沫体却被排除在外,因为在回收工业中发现PE+PS和PE难于加工。已知PE和PS的树脂不能适合地混合,用时人们普遍认为PE和PS树脂的混合物是不可能的。
共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体制品和PE泡沫体制品在回收过程中困难更大,因为PE+PS和PE泡沫体或PE泡沫体并不常用,而且PE的熔点高于PS。因此,共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体废料和PE泡沫体并不常常被收集起来用于回收。但是,考虑到作为一种处理手段的对塑料废品的焚烧所带来的环境问题,在开发对这些废塑料的回收方法方面有必要做更多的研究。
由于其在运输中更高的可靠性和有效性,对PE+PS包装衬垫材料的使用一直在变得越来越普遍,这应当归因于共聚合的PE+PS在冲击力吸收、弹性、重复利用的耐久性等更佳的物理特性,而且还应归因于当包装增加时其占的体积更少因而减少了运输费用这一优点。因此,既然对PE+PS作为一种包装衬垫材料使用得越来越多,就有必要开发一种新的对共聚合的PE+PS进行回收的方法。
发明简述
公开本发明以解决上述的问题而且本发明的目的之一是提供一种回收包装衬垫材料的方法。本发明的另一个目的是提供一种回收包括聚乙烯(PE)和聚苯乙烯(PS)的共聚合的泡沫体包装衬垫材料的方法。本发明的再一个目的是提供一种由回收包括PE和PS共聚合的泡沫体包装衬垫材料的方法形成的粒料;以及提供由该粒料形成的注塑制品。
根据本发明的目的,其提供一种处理共聚合的聚乙烯(PE)+聚苯乙烯(PS)泡沫体的废弃的包装衬垫材料的方法,包括将泡沫体回收制成PE+PS粒料。该回收优选包括将废弃的共聚合PE+PS泡沫体粉碎;将粉碎的PE+PS熔融;由熔融的泡沫体形成坯料;挤塑该坯料;将该挤塑物切成粒料。
废弃的共聚物PE+PS泡沫体应在进入回收过程之前加以干燥以除去其中的水分。在挤塑步骤中可加入适当的颜料以得到从白到黑的各种颜色。
可在160-200℃的温度下从粒料注塑成制品以防止脱色。

本发明优选实施方案的详述
本发明的回收方法将参考图1进行详细描述。合成的包装衬垫材料用于防止物品在运输过程中受到损坏。然后在物品运输完成之后一般会将用过的包装衬垫材料与物品分开并加以处理。
在回收工业中,将这些废弃的塑料包装衬垫物进行收集并将其分类成各种废弃物类型,即纸、乙烯树脂、PS(聚苯乙烯)泡沫体和共聚合的PE(聚乙烯)+PS(聚苯乙烯)泡沫体。废弃的PE+PS泡沫体经受了一系列步骤的连续加工,或步骤20,称之为粉碎30→熔融40→坯料形成50、挤塑60(在另一个熔融步骤之后),以及在其后切成回收的PE+PS粒料70。
然后,将回收的PE+PS粒料70在80处注塑形成用于提供给产商的功能部件90。
优选在回收加工20之前通过干燥加工100将废弃的PE+PS泡沫体干燥。
而且在回收的PE+PS树胶在通过挤塑加工60被挤塑时如果有必要可加入一些颜料(例如钛、碳或其混合物)以形成从白至黑各级深度的颜色。
在注塑加工80中,可在160-200℃的温度下将回收的PE+PS树脂进行注塑以防止燃烧并维持其预定的颜色。
因此,我们发现利用废弃的PS+PE就可以通过本发明的回收方法有效地来产生再生的功能性材料。表1列出了再生功能性材料的与传统的ABS树脂或HIPS树脂相似的物理特性。

从上述方法来的回收的包装衬垫材料、混合的回收粒料和由其形成的挤塑品有不少优点,根据本发明由于废弃的共聚合的PE+PS的回收的粒料被100%地用来产生再生的功能性材料,从而减少了由掩埋或焚烧塑制品对环境的污染,节省了自然资源并提供了新的功能性产物。
虽然对本发明已与一个优选的实施方案一起进行了描述,但那些本领域的技术人员在不偏离附加的权利要求所限定的本发明的精神和范围的前提下可以进行未具体描述的增加、减少、修改以及替换。

Claims (9)

1.处理共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体的废弃包装衬垫材料的方法,包括回收废弃的共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体形成PE+PS粒料的步骤。
2.权利要求1所限定的方法,其中回收步骤包括:
A.粉碎废弃的共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体;
B.熔融该粉碎后的PE+PS泡沫体;
C.将熔融的PE+PS形成坯料;
D.挤塑该坯料;并且
E.将挤塑物切成粒料。
3.权利要求1所限定的方法,其中废弃的共聚合PE+PS泡沫体在转变成粒料之前被进行干燥以除去残余水份。
4.权利要求2所限定的方法,其中在步骤D中加入颜料。
5.通过回收共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体的废弃包装衬垫材料形成PE+PS粒料而形成的粒料。
6.权利要求5所限定的由以下步骤形成的粒料:
A.粉碎废弃的共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体;
B.熔融该粉碎后的PE+PS泡沫体;
C.将熔融的PE+PS形成坯料;
D.挤塑该坯料;并且
E.将挤塑物切成粒料。
7.通过回收共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体的废弃包装衬垫材料形成PE+PS粒料并将该粒料注塑所形成的制品。
8.权利要求7所限定的制品,其中的注塑在160~200℃的温度范围内进行。
9.权利要求7所限定的制品,其中回收包括以下步骤:
A.粉碎废弃的共聚合的PE+PS泡沫体;
B.熔融该粉碎后的PE+PS泡沫体;
C.将熔融的PE+PS形成坯料;
D.挤塑该坯料;并且
E.将挤塑物切成粒料。
