技术领域
本发明是针对纸业加工带,特别是涉及一类具有适合用于纸业不同应用用途范围性质的纸业加工带(“PIPB’s”),更特别地,是涉及一种包含通风压榨带与多孔膜的层合物,用于在压榨压区使纸幅脱水。
背景技术
造纸过程中,在造纸机成形部,通过将纤维浆沉积到移动的成形织物上形成纤维素纤维网,纤维浆也就是纤维素纤维的水分散体。浆体中大量的水通过成形织物排出,而纤维素纤维网则留在成形织物的表面上。
刚形成的纤维素纤维网从成形部进入压榨部,压榨部包括一系列压榨压区。纤维素纤维网被压榨织物支撑,或者通常情况下位于两层这样的压榨织物之间,穿过压榨压区。在压榨压区中,纤维素纤维网受到压缩力的作用,该压缩力将水从网中挤出,并使网中的纤维素纤维彼此粘附,使得纤维素纤维网转化为纸幅。水由该一层压榨织物或多层压榨织物所吸收,并且理想的情况是不返回纸幅。
纸幅最终进入干燥部,干燥部包括至少一个可转动的干燥转鼓系列或烘筒系列,这些转鼓或烘筒由蒸气在内部进行加热。干燥织物将纸幅紧贴在转鼓的表面,并引导刚形成的纸幅以弯曲路径依次绕行该系列中的每个转鼓。加热的转鼓通过蒸发作用将纸幅的含水量降低到所需水平。
应该了解的是,成形织物、压榨织物及干燥织物在造纸机上都采取无端环(endless loop)的形式,并且都起到传送带的作用。应该进一步了解的是,纸张生产是一种以相当快的速度进行的连续过程。也就是说,在成形部,纤维浆连续地沉积到成形织物上,而刚生产出的纸张在离开干燥部后就被连续地卷绕到辊筒上。
能源成本逐渐提高,因此希望在纸幅进入干燥部之前尽可能从其中去除水。由于干燥转鼓典型地是由内部借助蒸气加热,而制造蒸气的关联成本相当高,特别当必须从纸幅去除大量水时成本相当高。
传统上,压榨部是具有一系列由成对邻接圆柱形压辊所构成的压区。然而,已发现使用靴型长压榨压区,会优于使用由成对邻接圆柱形压辊所构成的压区。这是因为纤维素纤维网受压区挤压的时间愈长,可挤压出更多的水,因此纤维网会残留较少量须在干燥部蒸发的水分。
在此种靴型长压区压榨机中,压区是形成于圆柱形压辊与拱形压靴之间。该拱形压靴具有圆柱形凹槽表面,且该凹槽表面的曲率半径与圆柱形压辊的曲率半径接近。当压辊与压靴相对彼此靠近时,会形成压区,其长度在机器方向(MD)上比两压辊间压区长5到10倍。因长压区长度可比熟知的两辊压机的压区长度长5倍至10倍,从而与两辊压机相比,可明显增加在长压区内纤维网上施加压力的所谓停留时间。结果,与常规造纸机器压区比较而言,在长压区内极大提高了纤维网的脱水。
靴型长压区压榨机需要一种特殊的皮带,如Dutt(AlbanyInternational Corp.)的美国专利5,238,537中所教示的,将该专利教导内容以引用方式并入本文。皮带设计成用来保护压榨织物,该压榨织物支持纤维网、承载纤维网、以及对纤维网脱水,免除压榨织物由于在固定式压靴上直接滑动式接触所造成的加速磨耗。此种皮带的特征是必须具有平滑且不渗透的表面,该表面在油润滑膜上越过或滑过固定的靴形物。此皮带以大约与压榨织物相同的速度移动通过压区,从而向压榨织物施加的对带表面摩擦量最小。
美国专利5,238,537所示类型的皮带通过用合成聚合物树脂浸渍无端环形式的织造基底织物制成。优选至少于皮带内表面由树脂形成具有预定厚度的涂层,藉此,可保护该基底织物的织造纱线,避免该纱线直接接触长压区压榨机的拱形压靴组件。此涂层特别地必须具有平滑且不渗透的表面,以能够容易地滑行于被润滑的压靴上,以及藉此避免任何润滑油因渗入皮带结构而污染一或多层压榨织物及纤维网。
美国专利5,238,537所示皮带的基底织物,可以为由单丝纱线以单层或多层织造而织成,且织造成足够开放以容许浸渍材料能够完全浸入该织造物。这可排除在成品皮带内形成任何孔隙的可能性。这种孔隙会容许在皮带及压靴之间所用的润滑油穿透该皮带,而导致污染一或多层压榨织物及纤维网。基底织物可为平织,随后缝合成为环状,或以管状织造形式织为环状。
当浸渍材料硬化成固体状态时,该浸渍材料主要是借助于机械互锁而与基底织物结合,其中固化后的浸渍材料包围基底织物的纱。此外,固化后的浸渍材料与基底织物纱材料间有一定程度化学结合或粘合。
长压区压榨带,例如美国专利5,238,537所示的长压区压榨带,依据其要安装的长压区压机的尺寸需求而定,环绕其环状构成的纵向测量,具有长度约为10英尺至35英尺(约3米至11米),在环状构成横向测量,具有宽度约6英尺至3 5英尺(约2米至11米)。基底织物浸渍以合成聚合物树脂之前必须制成环状构成,由于这种要求,此种带的制造较为复杂。
经常需要既在皮带内表面也在其外表面上对其提供具有一定预定厚度的树脂涂层。通过涂覆皮带的两侧,即使织造的底布与皮带的弯曲中性轴(neutral axis)并非重合,也会与其更接近。这种情况下,当皮带穿过造纸机上的辊等周围挠屈时所产生的内应力将不容易造成涂层从皮带任一侧发生脱层。
此外,当皮带外表面有某种预定厚度的树脂涂层时,其允许槽、盲钻孔或其它腔穴形成于该表面上,而不露出织造基底织物的任何部分。这些特性允许于压榨压区由纤维网中压出的水暂时存储,通常是在树脂涂层硬化后的另一个分开制造步骤中,借助于槽或钻孔产生此种特性。
虽然部分或全部前述参考文献皆有某种随附的优点,但仍需要进一步改良及/或替代形式。
发明内容
因此本发明的主要目的是提供一类具有适合纸业不同应用用途范围性质的纸业加工带。
本发明的另一目的是提供一种可用来增进压区脱水、或用作为过去由压榨压区的压榨织物所提供的脱水结构替代品的纸业加工带。
本发明的又一目的是提供具有极少槽封闭,同时促进压榨压区压力均匀分布的纸业加工带。
本发明提供这些及其它的目的和优点。就此方面而言,本发明是涉及一类具有一定适应范围的纸业加工带。其中一实施例为层合物,该层合物包含切槽的纸业加工带与在该切槽带表面的多孔膜,且多孔膜的一部分嵌置于该表面。此外,该膜包括经加工处理成为切槽带的基材部分和朝向纸幅的表面部分。带的膜部分有多种功能。通过提供额外空隙容积,膜部分提高了压榨织物及切槽带系统的总压区脱水能力,从而提升皮带的效能。某些情况下,此种复合带可替代压榨织物,压榨织物典型在压榨压区提供纸幅脱水。此外,膜附着于切槽的带表面,可有助于防止槽在负荷之下闭合,随着加工带老化可能出现此类问题。此种复合结构采用较为柔软的切槽侧树脂系统,其可减轻陆块区产生裂痕。此外,膜基材及表面的确切结构有多种不同变化,全部都允许所获得的纸业加工带的性能变化符合需求。

具体实施方式
现在特别参照附图,图1示出根据本发明,纸业加工带10的多种可能实例之一的剖面图。优选本发明提供一类具有一定适应范围适合用于纸业的多种不同应用用途的纸业加工带。图1所示实例中,本发明纸业加工带10为层合物,包含切槽纸业加工带12及在其表面的多孔膜14。本实例中,多孔膜14包含由膜表面20所覆盖的膜基材18。注意,膜基材18嵌置于切槽的纸业加工带12表面。另一方面,膜表面20提供对于例如纸或板片的接触面。
进一步参照图1,膜基材18例如可包含织造纱、非织造基体或其组合。就此方面而言,膜基材18的纱可为单丝纱、多丝纱、短纤纱、或其它适合用于该项用途的纱。此外,可对纱进行预处理以改善纱对于切槽的纸业加工带12及膜表面20二者的粘着。另一方面,膜表面20可以包含多孔聚合物涂层、可透性聚合物膜、短纤或多丝组成物、或其它适合用于该目的的材料。利用此方式,本发明提供膜基材18与膜表面20的不同组合,因而获得具有适合用于不同用途的不同性质范围的多种纸业加工带10。可借助于本领域技术人员已知的多种技术制造多孔聚合物涂层,举例来说,这类技术例如为激光钻孔、以适当溶剂去除可溶性成分、机械冲孔、或将树脂施加为网状泡沫体或非网状泡沫体。
图2举例说明用于造纸机压榨压区22的本发明纸业加工带10的实例。就此方面而言,须了解现有技术压榨压区的完整“组成”,包括一件或多件压榨织物、纸业加工带、纸幅或纸板、以及相对的压榨辊或其它压缩组件例如压靴。相反地,本发明提供一种“无织物”压榨压区22,其中带有多孔膜14的纸业加工带10替代压榨织物。换言之,纸业加工带10可提供脱水结构,该脱水结构于先前是由压榨压区22的压榨织物所提供的。如此当纸幅(图中未示出)于带26上转运通过压榨压区22时,水是由纸幅直接加压进入纸业加工带10。如果需要,随后可经由图3所示的抽取箱28由纸业加工带10去除水。
此外,本发明的优选实施例的纸业加工带10提供下述优点,多孔膜14锁定皮带切槽16的位置(或其它用来夹带水的空隙或腔穴,例如盲钻孔),因此限制空隙或腔穴在压榨压区22闭合。须注意带26可不含空隙或腔穴,而可起图2所示的传送带26作用。
如此通过本发明可实现其目的及优点,虽然在此已经揭示且详细说明其优选具体例,但本发明的范围及目的并非局限于此,本发明由所附的权利要求限定。

Claims (12)

1.一种纸业加工带,包含一多孔膜外表面,该多孔膜进一步包含嵌置于所述带的表面的膜基材,以及该多孔膜包含用于接触纸幅的膜表面,所述带为层合物形式。
2.根据权利要求1所述的带,其中所述膜基材包含织造结构。
3.根据权利要求1所述的带,其中所述膜基材包含非织造结构。
4.根据权利要求1所述的带,其中所述膜基材包含单丝纱、多丝纱或短纤纱。
5.根据权利要求1所述的带,其中对所述膜基材的纱进行处理以改善其对带表面及膜表面的粘着性。
6.根据权利要求1所述的带,其中所述膜表面为多孔聚合物涂层、可透性聚合物膜、短纤组成物、或多丝组成物。
7.根据权利要求6所述的带,其中该多孔聚合物涂层是经由激光钻孔、用溶剂去除可溶性成分、机械冲孔、或施加网状化泡沫体或非网状化泡沫体而制造。
8.根据权利要求1所述的带,其中所述具有多孔膜的带在压榨压区增强脱水。
9.根据权利要求1所述的带,其中由纸幅压入所述带的所述膜部分的水通过抽取去除。
10.根据权利要求1所述的带,其中该带包括槽、盲钻孔或其它空隙或腔穴,形成于所述多孔膜下方的所述带表面上。
11.根据权利要求10所述的带,其中该多孔膜锁定槽位置,因而限制槽的闭合。
12.一种纸业加工带,包含一种在靴形压榨带表面上具有可透膜的层合结构。
