Abstract
? En un procedimiento para limpieza y desinfección de un endoscopio que tiene un canal, un método para detectar la conexión apropiada de un accesorio al canal y el flujo apropiado a través del canal, el endoscopio tiene el accesorio conectado a una primera abertura en el canal y el canal tiene una segunda abertura, el método comprende los pasos de: a) colocar el endoscopio en la segunda abertura en un líquido; b) aplicar presión negativa a la primera abertura durante un período; c) extraer líquido en el canal desde la segunda abertura; d) pasar el líquido fuera del canal a través de la primera abertura; y e) medir la cantidad de líquido que pasa fuera de la primera abertura y determinar con base en la cantidad si el accesorio se conecta apropiadamente y el flujo apropiado pasa a través del canal. El método de conformidad con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado además porque por lo menos una porción del canal contiene aire antes del paso de aplicar presión negativa.
