Abstract

Si bien durante muchos años se han usado una gran variedad de agentes de control de plagas, muchos de estos agentes de control de plagas tienen diversos problemas, tales como una efectividad insuficiente y la restricción en el uso de los mismos debido a la resistencia adquirida por las plagas, y similares. Por lo tanto, se desea desarrollar un agente de control de plagas novedoso que es menos probable que tenga tales inconvenientes. Uno de los objetivos de la presente invención es proporcionar un compuesto altamente activo o una sal del mismo contra una plaga. La presente invención se refiere a un compuesto de N-(4-piridil)nicotinamida representado por la siguiente fórmula (I) (en la fórmula (I), para cada sustituyente, véase la Descripción) o una sal del mismo.
