Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un método para la determinación de la autenticidad de un hidrocarburo de petróleo que comprende supuestamente al menos un marcador químico específico, así como un método para la determinación de la adulteración de un hidrocarburo de petróleo marcado con al menos un marcador químico específico. Los métodos reivindicados y descritos en el presente documento se basan en el uso de marcadores químicos específicos en combinación con la ionización por láser a una longitud de onda de entre aproximadamente 300 nm y aproximadamente 370 nm acoplada a espectrometría de movilidad de iones o a espectrometría de masas.
