Vzorky mutanty jsou uloženy v Československé Purkyně V Brně pod 6. CCM P-632.Mutant samples are deposited in Czechoslovak Purkyně Brno under the 6th CCM P-632.
Vynálezem chráněná mutanta byla získána ze 664 izolátů připravených níže popsaným mutačním působením etylmetansulfonátu (EMS) a UV záření na laboratorní kmen Claviceps purpurea CP7 (Mikrobiologický ústav ČSAV v Praze 4).The mutant protected by the invention was obtained from 664 isolates prepared by the mutation treatment of ethyl methanesulfonate (EMS) and UV radiation on the laboratory strain Claviceps purpurea CP7 (Institute of Microbiology of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences in Prague 4) as described below.
Při přípravě vysokoprodukění mutanty probíhaly veškeré inkubace kultur v temnu při 24 í 1 °C. Spory mateřská kultury CP7, které byla kultivována 3 až 4 týdny na sešikmené agarové živné půdě T2 (C. Mutant CP7/274 se liší od rodičovského kmene, nebol je typickým sklerooiálním kmenem. Na agarové živné půdě T2 i v submerzníoh podmínkách roste chudě (5 až 6 mg suché váhy mycelia.ml-1) za tvorby pučícího mycelia se zvětšenými kulatými buňkami. U starší kultury se toto myoelium rozpadá na arthrospory o velikosti 4 x 12 ju. Vláknité mycelium a konidie se tvoří' ojediněle.
